Peaceful and luxurious stay at the Tiing

Beautiful villas - love the ocean view from the lounge room and loved the plunge pool at the back towards the mountains. Staff are really lovely and the massage organised for us was fantastic. Breakfast was also great! The nearby village is really beautiful and nice to walk through and the location is very peaceful

Nice place, somewhat worn out, but wrong information to plan your stay correctly.

Breakfast is ok, though selection is rather narrow for more than few days. The scenery from the room to both directions was amazing and sound of the ocean at night was really calming. Architecture is stunning, brutal betony - interesting contras to most of architecture on this island.

The hotel advertises herself as beach resort. The home page has also symbols for this. Many customers choose this place for this reason and are ready to travel from other side of the planet to experience peaceful beach on southern Pacific. But disapointment is great! There is no beach, just stony seashore on both sides of the premises. This is not only unconvinient but also dangerous. Exrtemely difficult to get in to the sea without falling on sometimes sharp slippery stones. Thunders are not unusual on Bali. Inspite of that the hotel does not have generators or something to cover the regular powercuts. Really annoying and again, you must have your own torch in order to find safe way around the room and the hotel area in general!

Happy memories

- The villa: amazing architecture, best bedroom I've stayed in in terms of black out blinds and noise insulation. Lovely layout with the second bathroom that leads directly from lounge and private pool - Restaurant has delicious food and drinks - The setting and views from private villa/ restaurant and outdoor shared pool are spectacular - Staff are very attentive and friendly, always willing to help and assist you with a smile

- While location is a huge selling point in one way (Beach views), it's also quite isolating if you don't ride scooter. There isn't any ATM's, pharmacy or convenience stores within 20 minutes walk. - Miscommunication with resort organised fishing activity, one of the staff members told us that the activity will be for 3 hours. It was also dependent on weather. We arrived to reception a couple hours earlier like they recommended to check with weather. They told us the weather will be good. I know they aren't meteorologists however they know the conditions better than we do. We did activity and it only went for 1 hour. Torrential rain starting after 15 minutes. Afterwards we spoke to another receptionist that was working and she said that activity is only for 1-2 hours depending on weather. If we knew it was only going to be for 1 hour we won't have done the activity as it's too expensive for what to get. We only fished for maybe 10 minutes out of the 1 hour.

Tyylikäs ja rauhallinen hotelli vieraille, joilla ei ole liikkumisvaikeuksia.

The Tiing Tejakula on arkkitehtoonisesti mielenkiintoista betonibrutalismia. Bambu ja betoni muodostavat perinteisen ja modernin yhdistelmän. Henkilökunta on hyvin ystävällistä. He antavat todella tunteen, että on tervetullut. Ravintolan ruoka on hyvää ja se tarjoillaan erittäin kauniisti. Jos haluaa vähän muutoksia listan ruokiin, kaikki tuntui onnistuvan. Jokainen ateria oli kaunis kuin Instagram kuva. Huonepalvelu toimii myös loistavasti. Sänky on puhdas ja mukava. Paikka soveltuu omaa rauhaa kaipaaville matkustajille. Täällä on hyvä levätä, kuunnella aaltoja, nauttia tyylikkäästä, modernista ympäristöstä ja hyvästä palvelusta. Netti toimii myös hyvin, täällä oli mukava tehdä etätöitä. Oma pieni uima-allas on ihana lisä. Huoneessa on mukava bambusta tehty nojatuoli, mutta ihmettelen pehmusteiden ruusukukallista kangasta. Se ei ole ihan linjassa muun tyylikkään sisustuksen kanssa.

On ikävää, että paikka on suunniteltu vain vahvoille ja terveille ihmisille, joilla on hyvä tasapaino. Portaita on paljon ja ne ovat jyrkkiä, eikä missään ole porraskaiteita. Luulisi, että bambusta saisi tehtyä tyyliin sopivia kaiteita jyrkkiin portaisiin. Samoin tyylikkäiden pihalaattojen reunoja on varottava ettei niihin kompastu. Esteettömyyttä ei ole ajateltu paikan suunnittelussa, mikä on harmillista. Meitä vanhempia ihmisiä ja huonommin liikkuvia on paljon ja varsinkin vanhemmiten arvostamme tyylikästä rauhaa ja olemme valmiita maksamaan siitä. Vanhemman ihmisen on myös vaikea mennä ja päästä ylös pienestä yksityisestä altaasta, jossa ei ole mitään mistä ottaa kiinni kun menee altaaseen tai nousee siitä. Kylpyhuoneen lattiakaivossa on liian tiukka ritilä. Jos ritilä on paikoillaan, suihkussa käydessä vesi ei mene alas, vaan tulvehtii huoneeseen asti. Asiakas ei voi tietää, että ritilä pitää nostaa pois ennen suihkuun menoa, ettei tule vesivahinkoa. Missään ei myöskään ole kokovartalopeiliä. Kun kaivaa rypistyneet vaatteet matkalaukusta, olisi mukava nähdä näyttääkö vanhalta hipiltä vai hotellikelpoiselta. Kylpyhuoneen peili on sen verran korkealla, että lyhyempi ihminen ei näe siitä kuin omat kasvonsa. Vaatehenkareita oli myös liian vähän, mutta sain lisää pyytäessäni.

The best romantic retreat away from turistic noise

The resort is actually a retreat in a fishing village. It's absolutely gorgeous and they have the best amenities and staff possible. We really enjoyed their offering and they spare no effort to make us feel as welcomed and as warm as possible. Thank you.

There is nothing we didn't like. The place is a tropical paradise and the entire area is away from the turistic hustle and bustle . We have absolutely nothing to complain with the resort.

Wir kommen liebend gerne wieder! Tolle Atmosphäre in einer tollen Umgebung!

Die Unterkunft ist ein absoluter Traum, dementsprechend ist sie auch meistens ausgebucht. Für Bali ist der Preis pro Nacht schon teurer als im Durchschnitt, aber für das wunderschöne Zimmer direkt am Meer absolut gerechtfertigt. Super nette Mitarbeiter und auch das essen im Hotel war sehr lecker und nicht überteuert wie in vielen anderen Resorts und Hotels.

Wenn man Wäschen waschen lässt, am besten nicht dort. Wir haben fürs Waschen in diversen Hotels 70-120k (was zwischen 4-8€ liegt) bezahlt ... in Tejakula waren es 450k was umgerechnet ca. 30€ sind. Mit dem service war alles super, die Wäsche hat auch toll gerochen aber hier wurde tief in die Tasche gegriffen.

Very good

the wait for everything was so long. we had to wait over an hour for our dinner at the restaurant (we ordered pizza and there was only one other couple at the restaurant so I don’t see why we had to wait this long). at checkout we were waiting forever because the stuff had to check our room before we were able to leave and they really take their sweet time… other than that the hotel was nice and the views were pretty however the location wasn’t ideal I felt that it was far from everything and the road leading to the luxuries hotel was very tight and hard to drive thru for our driver!

A little bit far from the restaurants, the beach wasn’t one of the bests, but generally it was ok ;) Unfortunately my 2.5yo child didnt get the towel (they gave us always only 2 for adults) It could be nicer to get welcome drink/juice :)

Beautiful rums, loved our private pool facing the mountains, really nice and beautifully served breakfast, great food, good prices,, nice pool, and most of all, incredibly nice, helpful always smiling staff. I took a balinese massage and loved it as well. The hotel is arranging a lot of tours, but there are also other alternatives, like Nyoman, who drives Tejakula taxi and can be hired for a day.

We missed furniture on our private pool balcony where we spent a lot of our evenings, but we just moved the ones from the living room and it worked fine, we spent there 4 wonderful evenings.

This hotel have very stylish architecture and design but main problem is very low quality of all other facilities and hight price for it. Tejakula have no any infrastructure for tourists like restorans and shops where you can have some food and you have only one place you can eat is the hotel.

Oh the serenity!

Absolutely loved the massive size of this villa and everything was exactly as was advertised. Met my expectations and then some. The serenity at sunrise as waves lashed the beach. The food from the restaurant was exceptional and Gede the head waiter who ran my room serviced dinner to me and then greeted me for a fabulous breakfast in the morning just wonderful. The choice of indoor and outdoor bathroom along with the private plunge pool and massive super comfortable bed made my overnight stay superbly enjoyable. Will be back again for sure.

Best Hotel in the world!

Friendliest staff have ever met. Such lovely people. Made for the best stay. This is a must do for bali. Stay here! Tejakula was a lovely relaxed stay, much quieter than popular tourist spots like Ubud & Kuta. Book the local village tour! Was the best thing we did in bali, went up a hill to spend some time with a farmer. So good :)

very beautiful design

The design of the hotel appealed to me very much. For your information: sea and mountain view has the pool facing the mountains and is on the 1st floor, sea view only, has the pool facing the sea and is on the ground floor.

The food is really tasty, the prices are touristy. The hotel complex is very small and therefore not suitable for a long stay.

Very good

The hotel has a very particular architecture, making each room's experience quite unique. The staff was also very naturally kind and caring... very pleasant to interact with. It was a great place for a short retreat along our (at times tiring) trip through Indonesia!

Disappointing

Outlook to the ocean

Fell well short of expectations. Fancy design with major design flaws. No aircon in living area, only in bedroom. Bathroom overflowing constantly because drain in wrong (highest) spot. Orientation of rooms is north/ south, so the idea of one outlook sunset the other sunrise isn’t possible. Overall, for this price I would have expected much more. Tip for travellers: this is a very remote location with absolutely no facilities or actual things to do. You basically stuck in this hotel. Restaurant is basic but ok

Very nice hotel, lots of activities, free snorkling, nice small plunge pool...

Lots and lots and lots monsters size mosquitos... it was huge... no tv... somehow its doesnt offer for privacy... luxury is all about privacy.. and i dont find it here... everyone knows your business and what you up to... since its very open concept.. dont get me wrong, i love open concept only on the building but not that open...

I think it was a let down after a long trip.

the view and the restaurant staff and staff in general was very pleasant.

when we arrived at the tiing after booking via booking, the hotel knew we were paying too much but didnt say anything. we found out via people we met there and checking their website and facebook etc. even in highseason our rate would still be on the high side. They later said it had to do with different amenities which was not the case. Also we booked a sea view room. which upon arrival was only available the next day. which meant we had to sleep 1 night in mountain view room which is also a cheaper room. When we finally moved to our other room, we had a rat in our bedroom behind the bed scratching at the bed, which woke us up. we managed to get it out of the room but we didnt sleep afterwards. obviously we had to move rooms again. due to the fact that the Tiing Tejakula is not very touristy yet, we ate all meals at the tiing. We had the best experience in the restaurent during our stay. but that is pretty much it. in the end the manager was able to refund us a bit but Unfortunately all this added to our experience and not made it not a good experience

Hidden gem

The area is secluded which can be both good and bad. If you wish to find a place to get away from city crowd then this is the perfect place but don't expect to find food deliveries from nearby area.

There is no boundries between room privacy and hotel public area, and room can't be locked except the bedroom.
