Nice!

Location and layout. View

Main bed was really hard and uncomfortable. No ceiling fans in the main bedroom or living area. We wanted to have the windows open to enjoy the ocean sounds but also needed the aircon to keep comfortable.

Exceptional

The staff at the resort were exceptional, in particular Sharon she made us all feel so welcome and could not do anything more to help us .The resort was clean and in a great location and we will use it everytime we visit Bargara and recommend it to family.

Give it a miss if you like privacy!

🤍Beautiful view & location. 🤍Reception staff were all lovely.

👎Being constantly watched by l’d say permanent tenants night & day. One man in 2 levels up watched us out on his balcony smoking every time we went out. It was creepy to say the least..

beds were like a brick, had to shower in the dark due to poor lighting, place was well due for some maintenance .

A few restful few days away saw the turtles hatching at Mon Repos and ate at most of the open restaurants

Beautiful staff, ocean view, quiet, great location

Staff are so lovely. Nothing was too much trouble; so helpful. Location is great, lovely view of the ocean and quiet; not a lot of traffic. Good size apartment. Well stocked with plates, cutlery, washing machine,dryer.. Full sized fridge with freezer. A short walk to cafes and restaurants.Good BBQ area.

We feel it was overpriced for the quality. The apartment needs a full makeover and a deep clean; new lounges, new cutains, holes in flyscreens repaired; CLR for showerheads; drano poured down wastes in bathrooms. We had 2 bathrooms but the showerhead in 1 was rusted and couldn't be used. There needs to be a scented room atomiser in the apartment as there is a smell after it's been closed up. The shower was over a bath that has a big step in and out that was quite dangerous and would be difficult for elderly or someone with hip/knee problems. Pack bug spray, lots of small ants that is unavoidable given the location. We would stay here again if the price is right, as we were comfortable and the staff were so nice; but we will look for somewhere newer if similarly priced.

A Great Stay at Bagara.

The Point is a short walk along the esplanade from the main shopping / eating area so it's quiet but close and convenient. We had a great ocean view and could hear the waves crashing on the rocks out front - lovely. The unit was clean and a reasonable size. Everything did what it was supposed to do and we had two TVs which is always welcome. We had little to do with the staff but what interactions we had were friendly. WiFi is good. Parking is underneath the units - secure and easy to get in and out. All up, a pleasant stay - recommended.

The main bathroom in the unit we rented is tired and has a "spar" tub. To get in and out of the shower which is in the tub requires caution as there are no grab rails and the floor can be slippery after a shower. A simple grab rail would make the experience safer and easier. Tile gaps and general tiredness didn't help. If you dine out and walk after dark take a torch or an iPhone for light as the esplanade is poorly lit. No fault of The Point at all - a slack local council would be the cause.

great family resort, needs a little love in some facilities

had everything to support a family holiday, walking distance to beach, playground & cafes.

solar could have been used to take chill off pool temperature to make it more usable. had to report maintenance that had been overlooked.

Ok but don't think we'd stay again

Great water views from living area. Walking distance to beach and shops/cafes. Self contained with everything you might need for family.

Pool area, games room and putt putt needs a refurb. Main bathroom was tiny! External lights in the atrium shine into the bedroom all night long. Ensuite bath was very deep and difficult to step out of - felt dangerous without a step. Mattresses were too soft for us.

We’ll definitely be back!

The Point Resort was in such a great spot for families! a short walk down the road to an incredible playground and the rock pools. Our kids loved the addition of mini golf too. The unit was well presented, tidy and the kitchen was well stocked.

The pillows weren’t very comfortable but that is so minor because we usually bring our own!

Don't Stay Here

Close to beach and eateries

What a disappointment, paying $745 for 3 nights, got nothing like the photos shown on BC site. Asked and paid for a seaview balcony but ended o the ground floor (could see the water sort of). Photos on BC showed a walk in shower but ended up with one over the bath (not good for over 70's, ) Wouldn't never have booked if had known this. Bedroom was dark during the day so needed lights on. Unit was situated on the ground floor right next to where other guests come and go, so no privacy. Had to keep one blind down for a bit of privacy. Spoke to reception and was told that this was the apartment on BC, and it was BC's fault that other photos were shown. And they had BC for not updating photos but who gave BC the photos!! Was told then if we had booked through them and not BC the apartment would have been a different one If we had not already paid for it we wouldn't of stayed.

Excellent rooms, clean, tidy, everything we needed was there.

The view was excellent. Loved listening to the ocean whilst lying in bed at night.

Our only disappointment was there was nowhere to put our key cards when leaving, as we left before the office opened. Perhaps this could be looked at?
