Cave-like rooms that felt extremely private, breakfast, staff, vibe, location, support, facilities, layout, etc.. Breakfast/restaurant area was super nice.
Being picky - breakfast was really good and the staff amazing but a couple of days the process itself was a bit disorganised.

The kindness of receptionists was unvaluable, the garden is very beautiful and it is a joy to explore with so many plants and animals, and the room looked nice even if maintenance is needed.
The breakfast the first day was basic; huge problems with electricity (missing for half of the day during the first period); WiFi signal very week. But the biggest issue is sanitary: water smelled so much (it seems that public water is not depured properly). Actually most of these problems can be considered as general for El Nido, but at the end of the day me and my friend we both experienced ameba infections, and we still don't know the reason.

beautiful hotel with incredibly friendly and helpful staff and great rooms just 3min walking distance from the beach with amazing sunsets

Very clean and beautiful room, good facilities inside of the room + the resort has a generator which makes sure you will have electricity (this is not the case for a lot of other residencies). The wifi works great. Good breakfast which can be served at the room. Also the airconditioner works very well. We were sick for 1-2 days and were very happy that we had our stay here at this resort (big tv that includes programmes like netflix etc. was great during our rest day).
The sheets were a too thin for our liking.

I am an experienced traveler (41 countries) who specializes in eco-travel and I found the hotel beautifully designed and quiet. It should change their name of “resort” to “boutique hotel” or “eco-lodge” because the small size, exclusivity and nature are what make it charming. The staff was also very kind and accommodating.
I spent a week and found it expensive just for cool design. Being a digital nomad, I need good wi-fi to work and couldn’t do it comfortably in this hotel. In the room, I had to sit on the floor near the door to catch a bit of signal and in the dining area it didn’t improve, plus the electric outlets didn’t work. Had to take a video-call at the reception where there’s no desk. The hotel excuses themselves blaming the island’s internet service, but I found a perfect signal in the Buko hotel next door, as well as food that I could pay for with credit card unlike in Terra Sancta (much needed as a long-term traveler). The lightning of the room could also improve because it was difficult to look for the things in my luggage (had to use my phone’s lantern) and I couldn’t see my face properly because the mirror of the bathroom is dark (!?). Sounds silly but when I changed hotel in the island, I felt happy to see my face again…

The staff were amazing.
We didn't get to enjoy the swimming pool at all due to the dubious water quality

Terra Sancta is really an oasis and well worth the money spent. Like some others here, we were hit by the Palawan belly and got sick by the mid of our stay. The team took care of us super well, organizing food that we could eat and providing anything we needed, going above and beyond. It was great to have that quiet, beautiful environment to recover and relax. We would totally recommend it.
Loved everything

This property has a lot of potential - there are some beautiful touches including the area that overlooks the pool. The landscaping is beautiful; it is clear that a lot of thought went into the design. It is small and intimate which is a nice break from the big mega-hotels that we saw a lot around the island. The location is fine - though it's not walking distance from a beach, it is a short tuk-tuk/trike ride away from a nice beach, good restaurants, and the main town. The decorations are local and natural and very lovely.
The breakfast was very good -shout-out to the shashouka and the oat pancakes!
The staff are also very nice.
We did not have the stay we expected, but the hotel did put it right, and they should be commended for doing so. It did take them a long time and a lot of back-and-forth between them and booking.com, but they did finally put it right, which is all you can really ask of a hotel.
I don't want to rip them apart because I know hotels have had a tough time since the pandemic. I also dislike leaving negative reviews because that could reflect only my experience. However, we had some pretty major issues that I think other travellers should be aware of before booking.
I think the issues stem from the fact that the hotel seems to have fallen into serious disrepair. You can tell it once looked like its photos, but there are issues that are frankly dangerous. There are holes in the wooden pool deck that you can put your foot through; the river rock paths could be beautiful but they have slid down the hillside leaving you to scramble down a muddy incline atop sliding rocks to your room.
When we arrived it was raining, and the ceiling of our room was leaking large amounts of water directly through the light fixtures which didn't seem safe. Our air conditioner didn't work, and though they tried to find the part to fix it, they could not; leaving us to spend four miserable, sweaty nights in the Philippines heat as the room grew progressively more and more damp. We couldn't open the windows because the screens were torn and we did not want to invite in a mosquito feast.
There was what looked to be a nice communal area atop the rooms, but it was not in use; it was sitting there dust covered and filled with items for storage.
Our hot water didn't work; and on our last night, the water didn't work at all. The wifi also didn't work for us.
Finally, this hotel does not have real coffee (they have instant "coffee" which is mud water). A hotel at this price point really should have espresso; and if not, there are multiple inexpensive options (french press, pour-over, stovetop moka). I find a lack of coffee really inexcuseable.

We really enjoyed our stay at Terra Sancta!
The staff is really nice and went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and carefree as possible.
We also enjoyed the homemade breakfast, which was always super fresh.
Rooms were big and comfortable and cleaned daily.
It’s very easy to go to / from El Nido’s city center.
There was some construction happening in the property, which was fine, but it just meant that there were a lot of people around during the day.

The property is still under construction.

The design of the room is unique.
Very clean accomodation.
The small resort is a really beautiful garden, well maintained, and quite. (Mosquito repellent is recommended…like anywhere in El Nido)
Staff is very friendly and ready to help.
We would happily stay there anytime.
The water pressure at the shower is a bit low.
There's no safe box in the rooms.
One, need to take the used towels to reception for replacement.

We are TOTALY DISAPPOINTED from our stay. It is ABSOLUTELY OVER RATED and OVER PRICED.
The location of the property is NOT CORRECT AT BOOKING.com! You must use google map to find the right location. The description says it is 50m away from the beach and it is advertised as first line beach hotel! This is a LIE. In reality, the hotel is 3rd LINE.
We very well knew that there is no beach for swimming, but did not expect to walk through a dump site in order to reach the beach. Next door properties on the beach are destroyed and abounded and this is almost on the whole first line of Corong-Corong beach!
Please, do not take into consideration the pictures FROM THE HOTEL or you will be FOOLED. Also, such expressions as “the garden is very exotic and it feels like a jungle, private boutique hotel experience” are FALSE, not true and bias! The only jungle experience we had was in the morning when we were supposed to have breakfast ( IF YOU ARE LUCKY TO FIND PLACE ON the only one table they have for the whole hotel) and we were devastated to see a cat licking the food off the plates.....!!
For the American breakfast they don’t have the bacon all the time and give you an extra egg for compensation!!
The air conditioning system and electricity generator of the Next door 7 store Lime hotel is right next this place! So in the night if your lucky can sleep if there is electricity!
Never change sheet for 7 days and cleaning was very poor! The towels at all were disgusting!
No terrace, private garden or whatever private place for the room! We must stay in the room even with no possibilities to open the windows!
There seems to be no manager on site at all and all the time! Someone at reception promised to get back to us with answer why our credit card was charged with extra 100$...... we never received answer cause: “manager was in a rush for other important matters”. The hotel is managed poorly with no customer care/service whatsoever!
TOTAL RIP-OFF!!!

beautiful setting and the rooms are amazing, be prepared for some bugs but this should be expected considering where you are.
Staff were unbelievably friendly and helpful, perfect for couples.

We were really pleased with the hotel service that the staff members would always respond to our requests and solve our problems.
There weren’t sufficient amenities provided including body soap and toothbrushes. The towels were also not renewed after cleaning.

Nothing, definitely not worth the price
The location, amenities, lack of properly locking door, stains on sheets, incompetent staff that doesn’t even take your luggage or offer any customer service. much better options available for the same price.

Cute little bungalows, great friendly and helpful staff. Good location for easy walk over to Vanilla Beach where you could watch the sunset and have access to multiple restaurants.
small thing but the walkways to the rooms could use a little work. The base is red mud and sand that we constantly had to make an effort to keep out of the room. It is an island so like I said small thing.

the grounds and rooms were so beautiful and comfortable! the staff was amazing and easy to communicate with and we loved our stay!
9.0
Stylish and relaxed, it was by far the "classiest" hotel we found for that price. The rooms were quiet and we could sleep well (for the first time in Palawan!). They have a good internet connection for working if necessary, and big TVs with streaming services included in case you want a night in. Breakfast was really good - the peanut butter was 100% homemade and out of this world!!! We didn't tried the pool, it's small but enough to cool down.
The pool deck was broken in a few places. Shower wasn't very hot. The stones in the ground all around the hotel and rooms could be slippery when it rains.

This is truly an exceptional hotel. I only stayed one night but I wish I had at least a week to relax and enjoy it!! Beautifully appointed rooms with the cosiest most comfortable bed of my entire Philippines trip. Quiet and peaceful with views to the sea from the shared lounge deck. Fabulous front of house service from Anne, who very patently dealt with my changing plans. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.
For me, nothing. Others may find it too far from the centre of El Nido (7 minute trike), but I wanted peace and quiet so this was perfect.

every wat perfect, the place was well decorated and the staff was friendly. I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. We asked for an extra night but it was unfortunatelly fullly booked already.
Thank you again

The staff were very hospitable and friendly to us during our whole stay. They do their best to accommodate whatever we need or want. They cleaned and organized our rooms even if we didn’t ask (like folding our clothes/rearranging our shoes/putting our phone cables away neatly). We really appreciated everything they did and the environment was very calm and serene. Their breakfast food was really good too. We loved our stay in this resort! Would definitely recommend this to everyone!

best hotel I’ve stayed in Palawan! amazing facilities and great Wi-Fi! it has EVERYTHING! and good value for money!
it’s off the town so it isn’t exactly walkable. each trip to town or back to property is a fixed 100pesos.
