Fantástico

Todo está perfecto, los jardines, las habitaciones, el personal excelente. La comida muy buena, a la carta, con un entrante, primero, segundo y postre. Las habitaciones muy grandes y limpias. Atención importante a Meshak y sus compañeros. Maravillosos.

Los precios de las bebidas muy altos, incluso comparado con Europa.

Excellent for privacy and relaxation with a great sunset view

Staff was amazing Food menus and service Spacious private villa with pool Landscape and walk-around Sunset

Beach was the key disappointment as there was barely some sand, we only walked on rocks with the kids to see some crabs, no swimming. A bit slow on food service and some items were not available in the menu.

Location View Food quality Staff is decent

Villa has only one bathroom. Toilet seat has no water supply for wash..only for flush. When ordering the food by phone, order comes inaccurate with lost items and there were no standardised ammounts or so we had to order more to be sure about the quantity.

I will coming next time.

Zanzi resort is very good place for couple to having holidays. The staffs there are warm and nice. Especially I want to recommend the dinner there. We have had 3 dinner there and all the menu are different. The cheif should cook for the president of Tanzania. Really delicious!

Fantastic private resort with great food and excellent staff

We loved the small-scale intimate style resort with beautiful jungle surroundings, excellent staff and great food! We stayed at the ocean view villa with private pool and had absolutely everything we needed. Option to have late breakfast and food in your villa is great! Staff is fantastic

Maybe we expected a bit more high end styling of the villa. The interior does look a bit outdated and simple, although everything is comfortable. Maybe light duvets and bigger bed sheets can be used, the sheets did not fit the full bed.

Paradise in Zanzibar!

Staff were really friendly and accommodating. The property has left the surrounding nature untouched which means you can go for a walk and spot some local wildlife - we saw lots of red squirrels and even an elephant shrew! There is a great jetty to walk along and watch sunset from. The pool is lovely and the food also really tasty.

Superb

This resort is located in a beautiful tropical paradise with very rich greenery and amazing natural sounds - a truly magical experience! They have an excellent swimming pool without smell of chlorine! Villas have well isolated theritory - for feeling of privacy and freedom. The hotel as such is located in an isolated area far from villages and other hotels. I was amazed how smart and proactive is the personnel in this hotel, excellent service! Meal is a la carte (very large choice for breakfast, and fixed menu with several rounds for dinner). In short, this is a perfect place to escape from a hectic world and enjoy unity with nature! This hotel is located close to Cheetah's rock - takes ~2.5 km walk or ~10 min taxi.

This resort is located in the area without wide natural beach. There is a small artifitial beach created, but as you step into water, you realize the bottom is uncomfortable and the sea is dark and turbid. However, you can use Standup paddleboard for free to explore the surroundings. Besides that, they even offer a free snorkeling/sunset tour on an old wooden boat! Luckily, we came here after stay another hotel where we had a very a good beach. So, having a perfect beach here was no more necessary, and we ejoyed the magical forest and our overall experience was fantastic.

Perfect honeymoon! Discrete 5* African hospitality in a beautiful garden-beach resort.

We chose Zanzi Resort for our honeymoon. It couldn't have been more perfect. Hakuna matata. After seeing the pictures and other reviews, we were confident this was the right place for us. The small resort (13 villas) and staff team gave the chance to get to know people over the week and a half we were there. The team were inviting and hospitable, yet discrete. With an ocean access villa and caccooned by gardens on all sides, there was all the privacy in the world. Delicious food from the 5-course tasting menu each night. Quantities of fresh fruit every day (bananas and mangos will never taste the same again..), plus the chilled coconuts and hibiscus juice kept us going. On our last day, we took the hotel's Dhow tour out to Prison Island, the sandbank, and a tour through Stone Town before heading back under sail for dinner and departure. One of the most magical days of the whole trip. Being away 1-in-10 weeks of the year for work, this resort redefined what it means to relax. It felt good to find a smaller boutique resort too. I don't have enough good things to say about Zanzi Resort. Asante sana!

Peaceful Paradise

This place is AMAZING. the staff gave exceptional customer service. You will not go wrong by staying here I love the l green & beautiful trees & flowers on the grounds that the resort has. My Villa was beautiful so much space inside & out. Breakfast & and dinner were included for my meals during my entire stay. The food was really very good !!! The view from my villa was just breathtaking. You can have room service with no extra charge. It was very peaceful like you were on your own little island alone. My room was very spacious and clean.The bed was very big & comfortable The bridge on the property you can go and relax and watch the sunset. I love the private pool that my villa had.. There are so many hidden gems to see on this private property. Wifi works great. I love that ny villa has great privacy. No one can see you at all. Great privacy fence !!!! Staff was just amazing. Every member was kind. I will be back

Wonderful place (not only!) for foodies

A wonderful Resort where you might feel like Tarzan and Jane in the midst of jungle. If it wasn't for the most friendly and helpful staff. And if it wasn't for the kitchen, every bite a delight, be it breakfast or dinner. The birthday-surprise will make a lifetime memory!

The resort is rather secluded. Exactly what we were looking for, but not everybodys cup of tea. You can do some snorkeling below and around the jetty, but don't expect too much.

The level of care by the staff is amazing. Plus the food was out of this world. The jetty is absolutely beautiful. We could spend the whole day there. The location is also great and the hotel is small so the staff really go out of their way to make you comfortable.

There was nothing we didn't like. It was an amazing stay!

Super freindly staff

The Staff were very friendly and helpful and the manager was making sure twice a day during meals that everything is ok with us and how was our day.

1- location was a bit far from stone town around 40mins. 2- The road to the Hotel is extremely bad ( not the hotel's fault) the government urgently has to improve the road to the hotel ( not safe). 3- i wish there was more choices for the dinner and more international food. 4-It would nice if they have a lice music or band duringcthe dinner time.

An exotic “boutique” resort . The view and hospitality superb. Don’t expect many luxuries as 5 star Hotels.

the location was close to Zanzibar city. the plants and flowers were wow. the Hospitality of the staff exceptional.

The beach entry is not fully Sandy during low tide. So guests have to be aware to bring swimming shoes for the rocks. Food can be improved.

the ocean access room was everything and beyond. great views and accessibility to ocean. staff is very accommodating and ready to help.

bed and baby cot are not up to date, it wasn’t straight which is a big deal when you pay such amounts

Just WOW - from the first moment of arrival until the final day of departure, everything here was just superlative. The staff is more a family then colleagues, super friendly and they will do everything to make their guest happy. Food will be served everywhere without extra charge, so fell free to eat at the pool or enjoy lunch at the beach, jetty or in your villa (obly the romantic dinner will be charge but the setup is worth it). The tours by car or boat are done professionally and as flexible and friendly as the hotel service and finally the food is just amazing, great compliments to the chef and his crew (checkout the pics to get a better impression of their great facilities and food)!!!!!

es wäre noch besser Fitness Geräte in eine Klimatisierte Raum zu haben.

Exceptional little paradise on earth ! Unforgettable stay

The resort is located inside a all natural forest with beautiful trees , flowers and all green natural environnement that you can dream of. The ocean villa has a private pool and a private beach access with a wonderful garden producing a small paradise on earth. The staff were extremely kind and best of the best ; they prepared a wonderful set up in front of the ocean for my son’s birthday, with a group of real Massai singing for him. Unforgettable experience ! Highly recommended place, for those looking for a small calm retreat on the heart of a beautiful nature
