Ich verweise auf den folgenden Abschnitt des Fragebogens.
Nicht gefallen hat mir die Tatsache, daß für eine Flasche Bier auf der Menükarte der Preis mit 3 USD ausgewiesen wurde, aber letztlich 5 USD verrechnet wurden. Nach dezidierter Nachfrage wurde der Preis auf 3 USD rückgestellt. Für die Preiserhöhung als verantwortlich zeichnend wurde eine Verknappung der Verfügbarkeit angesprochen. Außerhalb des Resorts bestand kein Hinweis für Lieferprobleme und auch der Preis wurde dortselbst nicht erhöht. Gerne zur Kenntnis nehme ich, daß der Manager vor Ort bemüht war die Angelegenheit zu regeln und offensichtlich der Besitzer des Resorts für diese unter keinen Umständen nachvollziehbare Erhöhung verantwortlich zeichnete. Es mag durchaus so sein, daß die tansanische Küche "gewöhnungbedürftig" ist. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war für das Abendessen war unter keinen Umständen gegeben! Das Baden im Meer war nur zu Zeiten der Flut möglich, wobei aber die massenhafte Anschwemmung von Algen limitierend war. Leider fanden sich zu Zeiten der Ebbe sehr viele Seeigel am Grund. Derart mußte eben der Pool frequentiert werden. Stone Town zu besuchen gehört zwar zu einem Aufenthalt auf Sansibar, ist aber nicht sehr empfehlenswert, und schon gar nicht zu Zeiten des Ramadan. Das Personal im Resort war absolut in Ordnung!!! Die Einheimischen außerhalb des Resorts waren freundlich und nett, und vermittelten zu keinem Zeitpunkt ein Gefühl der Unsicherheit, auch nicht nächtlicherweise.

ALLES war perfekt! In der Unterkunft betritt man ein Paradies. Eine wunderschöne ruhige Anlage voller Natur und blühenden Sträuchern, liebevoll eingerichteten Bungalos, eigene Liegen und einen Schirm zum verweilen, Loungemöbel aus alten Booten geschnitzt und ein perfekter mix aus moderner und traditioneller Einrichtung. Alle sind happy hier, das Personal ist sehr herzlich, unser Manager sehr zuvorkommen. Warmes Duschen in freier Natur, viel Privatsphäre und alles was man braucht zum entspannen. Auch die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig, jeden Tag kann man den endlosen weißen Strand belaufen.
Ab und zu wird man am Strand selbst angefragt ob man Safaris buchen möchte, hält sich aber noch in Grenzen, ansonsten ist man fast wie alleine unterwegs. Wir haben unsere Safari Blue im Hotel gebucht und waren sehr zufrieden. Morgens lässt sich der Sonnenaufgang auf einer Schaukel genießen und jedes Bungalow bietet Blick auf das Meer aus dem Bett heraus. Wir haben uns hier verlobt und werden für immer voller Glücksgefühle aus diesen verzauberten Ort zurückblicken ♥️

The resort has a really beautiful and thoughtful design. The variety of plants, the buildings, the pool and the beach are absolutely coherent. And the location is priceless anyway, when you are woken up in the morning by the sunrise overlooking the Indian Ocean.
And of course, all the people who work at the resort are very friendly and helpful. It is the perfect place to calm down and relax.
If there is anything at all, it is that the cuisine cannot compete at the highest level of the rest of the resort. The food is undoubtedly good, but in comparison only an 8 out of 10.

The view of the room was breathtaking at any time of the day especially sunrise. The level of relaxation and tranquility that we experienced was really beyond any expectations. We really enjoyed out time there.

The beach is beautiful and the water temperature and colour are great.
Note: in low tide it's mandatory the use of water shoes because of a huge amount of sea urchins.

The place was amazing ! The room was super big and well decorated , AC and mini bar in it . You are next to the sea and the pool and restaurant is amazing by day and night. Totally love this place . They don’t alow kids which is super quiet , perfect for couples to spent a few calm days.
Jambiani is super chill and not to many bothering selling people.
I like everything about it.
Maybe the entrance is not the best neighborhood , but well is an island in Tanzania.

There‘s so many things we loved about the Belvedere Hotel. First off the Bungalow - it‘s outstanding! The furniture is beautiful, the outside bathroom is unique and the ocean-view is imcomparable! But not just the bungalow, the whole hotel-area (the pool, the sunbeds that belong to each bungalow/room, the restaurant…) - everything is beautifully arranged and very well taken care of. We also loved the restaurant, which has delicious and well-priced food. And last but not least: the staff! Everyone was so kind and making all the effort for us to have the best time - and we really did!
We can‘t think of anything we didn‘t like.

A beautiful small boutique hotel. The views of the beach are amazing. staff was helpful and the food was great. I liked the romantic vibes of the hotel ( swing on the beach..etc) I think it is a perfect hotel for honeymooners who are looking for a secluded, quiet and romantic hotel.
I booked this hotel only because of the Air conditioning in the room. however, the AC was not working properly in our room. They offered us another room on the first floor. I prefer the ground level but I was surprized that they gave the room on the ground level to another guest after they fixed the AC. Nevertheless, this didn't stop us from enjoying our time since we spent most of our time on day trips outside the hotel. Just beware that AC in general is weak in all rooms if you have to sleep in a very cold temperature.

The resort is calm, pleasant and heavenly. It is especially a paradise for couples looking to relax and enjoy a break from the busyness of life. The amenities are great! We got a comfortable bed, absolutely awesome shower and the infinity pool was a great addition to it. It was peaceful to know the housekeeping staff will not be knocking on your door when it’s not convenient!! You give your room key when you want it cleaned etc.
Special mention to Anna the supervisor (not sure her title) for the warm hospitality. Juma the manager is incredibly helpful while organising for excursions. Special mention to Anna, a waitress who was very kind and friendly to us, her service was beyond expectations.

Place is quiet and relaxing. Right on the beach, just step and and it is there and it is beautiful.
Rooms are spacious and mostly clean.
Laundry service was fast and great.
We had some insect problems in the bathroom.
Some of the staff are not very enthusiastic. Looks like they would rather be somewhere else.
The area around the pool can be better organizes. Now it sits mostly empty.

The small resort is just one of the best in the world. The location is perfect, on a quiet part of a beautiful beach. The resort is extremely well managed and the staff are just perfect, with friendly smiles and excellent service. The food is wonderful and changes every day. The best recommendation is that we are going back next year!
Take mosquito spray and pay attention to your feet in the outside bathroom….the gravel can make a midnight ouch!

Amazing relaxing location 😍 ideal to disconnect, relax and enjoy the island 🏝 very nice food, good organization. Options to go to snorkel by boat and we enjoyed a lot the Blue Safari experience, excellent! Very nice breakfast :)
Mosquitos in the room. It would be great to have the main door with the mosquitos protection and open at night for ventilation. It would be great to have cappuccino for breakfast, sometimes coffee was cold.

Very nice and beautiful location. Quiet and luxury like resort. Compared to other hotels in this region you have a “garden” with swimmingpool in between your room and the beach which makes it even more private but still very well connected. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and well equipped. Pool is nice to have especially when the tide is low. We are happy to have stayed here and will come back when in Zanzibar next time.
You have a lot of food choice here. Breakfast is great too. Maybe for dinner we would have preferred a bit more local cuisine. But the quality and quantity was very good.

Our stay at Belvedere resort was wonderful! It's a tropical paradise. The set-up of this resort is a pleasure to the eye. Wooden bungalows, big private beach, lots of beautify flowers and an infinity pool. The staff is amazing. Very friendly and welcoming. The bungalow was absolutely beautiful, had sea-view and an open air bathroom with flowerbeds and blossoms. A serene spa-like setting. The bed was super comfortable. You could hear the sound of the waves inside the bungalow, which was very relaxing. The on-site restaurant serves delicious meals.
It is such a picture-perfect setting that you almost don't wanna leave the property, and just wanna hang out on the comfortable sunloungers under full-shade parasols, gazing at the azure sea. When you finally are ready to explore more of the island, the staff can arrange all kinds of tours for you, like snorkelling, dolphin watching, spice tour, scooter rental etc. Or you can just take a walk or run along the beach. The resort has 6 bungalows and 6 rooms, which means has a very private feel. It's a very romantic setting.
When we arrived at the resort, and saw how beautiful it is, we found this was the perfect spot for us to have a small private wedding ceremony. We told the manager about our plan, and they helped us arrange a simple ceremony, exactly as we wanted: with our feet in the sand, overlooking the beautiful ocean, in the pretty flower-rimmed pergola. We are so happy we chose this place for this special occasion.
We enjoyed every moment at Belverde Resort, and we hope to be back!

Just incredible, we needed some time for our brain to process how unimaginably beautiful it was. The hotel is directly at the beach, you arrive and walk on white sand from then on, what a dream. The staff is amazing and everything was clean and the beds comfortable. The food is very nice and the breakfast has everything you like. Internet and hot water worked like a charm and we never lacked anything. Thank you for an amazing stay!
Nothing, but if I could give one advice, it would be to give the cooks the opportunity to have an advanced cooking training to give them the ultimate food edge and really make it a heavenly experience altogether.

We stayed for 10 nights at Belvedere Resort. The Bungalow was very cosy and confortable. Super nice environnement and amazing view on the beach. The garden with sand , swimming pool, seating areas and lots of flowers is a big plus. This place allows you to have all the privicy and rest you need. The staff was so welcoming and friendly, caring a lot for their guests. Really good resort away from the crowded places in Zanzibar but still close to a few nice other places. Right next to Jambiani Village. The restaurant/bar is serving delicious food and drinks ! Breakfast was also very good (lot of choices). Thank you so much to the whole staff !
