Can’t wait to go back

Loved our stay - the team went above and beyond, and (once one adjusts to the island life and pace of service) it is a dream. A special shout out to the manager - Tanmay, who really made our stay special. And a few staff members who went above and beyond - Ozi, Roy, Ketut and Harry. And chef Ansel who really gave us some outstanding food.

Wish they had a kids club!

Quality of food for price was below par Kids should eat free with paying adults , especially for price paid. Just seems like penny pinching, especially when they do extra nice things such as turn down cookies.

Superb service and lots of complimentary activities available. Lovely sunset views and excellent food. Very quiet spot.

The only negative for me was that it is only possible to swim in the sea when the tide is high, unless you swim off the jetty. Almost no one does which might explain the lack of somewhere by your front door to rinse sand off feet.

Over the top at Oberoi!

The staff were so friendly and kind. the pool and the view is just amazing!! I enjoyed a fantastic yoga class taught by the excellent instructor Yani! He is truly so knowledgeable. we also enjoys great snorkel trip to the Gili islands. super fun!

It’s a bit far to visit other areas on the island and there aren’t any other restaurants or activities off property to get to without a considerable drive.

Relax in luxurious comfort and lush gardens

The Ocean View Villa (107) flawlessly perfect designed and very comfortable. Huge bathroom and from the terrace perfect view to palm trees and the sea. Service level is very high and extremely friendly. The food selection is great and all tasted deliciously well and fresh. We loved the BBQ night at the beach and the concept of preparing your grill selection instead of buffet. The General Manager was visible and around, keen to know the slightest irregularity. They made extra effort for my wife’s birthday with Happy Birthday banners, balloons and a little gift (THANK YOU!!!!). The Oberoi massage package was simply outstanding and it’s recommended wholeheartedly. We truly enjoyed every day of our stay to the maximum. Also entertainment with life music of high quality was great and the personalized dinner table/waiters calling you buy name gave it a special personal touch.

The extremely friendly service is unfortunately not always efficient, because people are overexcited to serve or simply cannot understand. Also the cleaning in the breakfast/lunch restaurant was kind of „sloppy“, but improved after it was addressed. The beach was not as good as expected from previous comments, it’s basically a piece of sand 30 m large from where you can enter the sea, the rest is Stoney or at high tide under water. For excursions the hotel should offer a boat that is up to its luxury standard. The boats they have are not comfy and not nice, although traditional. But tradition is not always everything. Also the restaurant manager herself in one dinner occasion could not manage to open the wine bottle, so I did it by myself. This should not happen as it’s basic training. These all might be seen as „small things“ but make the difference from good to great. Nevertheless we loved to stay in The Oberoi.

It exceeded our expectations. It was a little slice of Heaven and we were totally spoilt!

Everything! This is the perfect place to unwind, every whim will be taken care of. The staff are exceptional and personable. The resort itself is Paradise. We were a little concerned at first about it’s location (isolated) and being limited to dining @ the same restaurant every day. We needn’t have worried. There was always a “special” on the menu or a theme night to make things more interesting. The breakfasts were always the highlight of our day and the musical entertainment @ night was fabulous. We always looked forward to the complimentary afternoon tea with Indonesian sweet treats and Ginger Tea or Iced Tea. It also encouraged you to liaise with other guests. Our overall experience was pretty near “perfect!”

Exceptional

This is/was our best stay at the Oberoi Resort we ever had in a Hotel. Very attentive personnel. The facility is well-maintained and so tranquil atmosphere. From the breakfast over the afternoon snacks, the cuisine is such delightful. A bright variety of kids offers are more than welcoming. Kids friendly staff:) Erwin was a great tennis teacher. Gym was clean with all you need. Spa too many seductive offes:)

5 Star Resort & Fabolous location with nice Beach access. We have stayed here for 2 Nights in December, We had a warm welcome with Garland and welcome drink. The Oberoi Beach Resort, Lombok Truly luxurious resort with Beach access. You will feel the difference between other 5 Star resorts when compare to Oberoi. Oberoi hotels are No 1 in India, it is maintaining the world class standards. People are friendly & smiley. Food is awesome, I would like to apricate Chef “Sumit” for his great service. He attended every guest with almost care. As a special request from our side he has prepare India Dishes in the next Breakfast. I loved the food in Oberoi. Special thanks to Sumit again. Would visit again and highly recommended. From Lombok its just 30min Boat ride to Gilli islands . Gilli Trawangan, Gilli Meno, Gilli Air. Resort will arrange the tours and well organised with snorkeling included. Special thanks to Hotel Manger "Tanmay Vaidya" & Front Desk Nirul & Mansur at Restaurant. Many thanks to The Oberoi Staff for their hospitality.

a special luxury destination with extraordinary service

Beautiful rooms and location, staff exceptionally helpful, the snorkelling trip was a bit expensive but fantastic (great boat straight from resort, wonderful staff, great locations). The complimentary bed for my child and little touches (her own little robe and slippers). She adored the wood carving, painting and afternoon teas

The food was excellent but the portions were huge and it was quite pricey. Smaller servings and more salads would be great. The restaurant was excellent. The wine was poor and expensive

Old fashioned 5 star luxury at its best.

The Oberoi is incredible old fashioned 5 star quality. We’ve never had that level of service before. The staff are so attentive, organised and kind, nothing is any trouble and they just want you to have the most relaxed experience. The best hotel we’ve ever stayed at.
