Location and proximity to walkable neighborhoods for dining, shopping and sightseeing.

The pool area and accommodations were too small and limited for the number of rooms. Our room had a very strong musty smell and updates and maintenance are highly needed. The bathroom shower ceiling has no light or fan and is very low for tall people. There were bubbles in the ceiling paint that indicated mildew growth in the plaster. The beds were too small only double size and the pillows were hard and flat. Bed linens were scratchy and poor quality. The breakfast buffet is a nice offering but not worth $41/person for eggs and pancakes!

Food was very good, the view from our room was amazing, staff was very friendly and helpful, kids loved the water slide, drinks were delicious, beach very nice and beach staff always helpful.

There was too many people in the pool because it was a holiday so it became very very dirty. There is no space in the room to put your things, very little closet space, no place to hang bath towels. Pillows were thin.

We had to sleep in 2 double beds even though we booked a King size with a sofa bed.

Everything was perfect

Everyone, everything was great. The staff in the casino were nice the staff outside by the pool were very attentive.

The craps table was not open for my stay.. I was informed there were not enough staff to have it up and running

First of all, the staff is exceptional! Before staying I read a lot of reviews for this hotel and some others in the area. I noticed their are a lot reviews that mention the staff was not nice or helpful, and I personally did not have that experience at all. Each member of the staff all the way down the the valet guys in parking lot were friendly, helpful, and polite. I stayed in a King Ocean View Cabana style room and it was perfect! The view of the beach and pool was beautiful. The room was the perfect size with nice upgrades compared to their other room options. However, my family stayed in the non-cabana style rooms and they all had exceptional views of the beach and city on much higher floors. The cafe in lobby was a plus since it has excellent to-go food and is super convenient. Also the restaurant on-site was really good for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I just wish it had more traditional Puerto Rican entree options. Overall, my stay was wonderful and I’ll definitely stay at this Marriott again.

Honestly, based on my experience I don’t have much to say that I didn’t like about this Marriott. I wish the pool closed a little later than 9pm, perhaps 10pm or 11pm. Since if you leave the property all day to do excursions and explore we personally found ourselves wanting to go in the pool around 8pm but then it closed at 9pm. It wasn't a big deal that it closed at 9pm but just suggestion maybe it be open an hour or two later.
