Beautiful facility. No beach access(staff stopped us from walking to the beach)due to construction.

Beautiful hotel, great staff (valet, bellman, desk). Location was great!

No easy beach access. When trying to get to the beach, a manager reprimanded us and made us walk back the way we came from, only to bring us through the pool area to the exact spot he initially stopped us.

What was supposed to be a relaxing recharging weekend turned into a view of a construction zone.

Hotel was clean and staff friendly. The food was good, the happy hour was good. The room was clean and had everything you could want. Very disappointed in the so called view that we paid a lot of money for. It was a partial view and full of construction equipment and construction sounds.

Your booking page stated the room was balcony room and ocean front. The room we received was a partial side view of the ocean. From the room we were hoping to sit on the balcony and watch the waves, instead we saw big front end loaders beeping all day long moving sand and all the construction trailers with generators that were on 24/7. To say we were upset is an understatement. The hotel was not accommodating to change our room to the other side of the hotel where there was not a construction staging area. We paid a lot of money and did not get what we paid for that was advertised on your site. My mom had just passed away and this was supposed to be a relaxing and unwinding mini-vacation. Instead it turned into a room where we could not even use the balcony never mind sitting on the balcony watching the ocean. You need to change your description of the rooms at this hotel. There are only 4 or 5 ocean front rooms in the whole place. Everything else is a partial view. If I had known this I would not have booked this hotel. Thank you.

So loud it was not enjoyable

We have been staying here for years and have always loved this place but it’s declining in quality. It’s beautiful around the grounds.

We were warned adequately about the beach closures because of the restoration….no big deal BUT no warning about the 24 hour continuous heavy equipment running literally at the pool deck sea wall and it was so loud running all night that there was no way to get sleep. It was awful. That should have been mentioned by the staff before we got there like the beach issues. We would have stayed elsewhere.

Horrible construction to beach ruining the experience. The amount I paid to stay at hotel for the weekend and the loud noise from beach renovation was atrocious! Would have never come!

Felt like royalty but held back.

Felt like royalty with valet service, love that we could text and our car be waiting. Free breakfast was amazing, not like other hotel breakfast. The room was awesome.

Great view, solid location, some cons include valet fee; noisey times.

View, lobby and restaurant were amazing. front desk and valet were more than accommodating. solid location, good food options and beach access within walking distance.

The valet fee which was required was a bit of an annoyance. there was constructions, though it didn't ruin the trip. Loud restaurant across the street, but closes fairly early.

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE

first of all. It was my honey moon. I paid for two rooms with ocean view. We arrived at 1 plus pm. I was given 1 room with no ocean view, and I had to wait over 2 hours to get the other room which was not an ocean view either instead there was a bunch of construction machinery right in front of our balcony. I talked to the front desk attendant and told me that he was sorry. He said he was going to compensate me by not charging the resort fee. But that was not the point. The point is that my honeymoon vacations were spoiled by they not delivering what I was expecting to receive. SO IM VERY DISAPOINTED.

I had to stay another night due to the bad weather. But the time of our check out I received a call from the manager saying that for every 25 minutes of delaying I was going to be charged $30 dollars. Me and my wife thought why didn’t they paid me $30 dollars for every 25 minutes they delayed my room when we arrived? I asked the manager that and she said SORRY IT IS THE HOTEL’S POLICY.

The weather was beautiful, Embassy Suites disappointed us.

The location was ideal. The room size exceeded expectations. The pool area and outside sitting area was beautiful.

The extra fees that were charged to my credit card upon arrival. $700.00 was put on my credit card for valet parking, towels, beach chair, any coincidental expenses. We didn't have a car that needed parked but was charged $35.00 per night for parking, (person that checked me in documented that but it was still charged) $22.00 per day was charged for towel and beach chair (I was told by Bookings that there would be no reason to provide a credit card for check in) While enjoying the happy hour at the bar I purchased a drink that was not complimentary. Not a problem, but the bartender couldn't find my reservation in the system and asked me 5 times my Name and room number. Apparently someone with a different last name used my room number to add charges to. I paid cash at the bar and spoke to the front desk. A detailed print out was provided the night before my checkout and it was 4 pages long. There were many items that were not my charges and I was told by the manager that the $700.00 should not have been placed on my credit card because I paid through Bookings.com. I was told that I should not go through a third party if I wanted to be sure of my services and fine print. My credit card was adjusted and the charges to my room that I didn't make were investigated and corrected. Our room wasn't cleaned one day and no fresh towels were added. I went to the front desk to report this and asked for fresh towels. The next day there was a note under our door that we needed to be out of the our room by 10:00AM for our room to be cleaned. We were out of our room before 10:00 and went back to our room at 3:30 to clean up for our dinner reservations and the cleaning lady had just gone into our room and stripped the bed and hadn't done any cleaning. We sat on the balcony for 45 minutes waiting for her to be done. It was inconvenient. Also prior to my arrival I called to verify my reservation and they had no knowledge of my name or room.

Over all, I would come back and I would like a beachfront film! The property is great.

The building is beautiful. The pool, the kids activities. The beach is right there! Love it. I loved the toys to share for the pool and the beach. What a great idea!

Some of the items in the convenience store were a little too expensive. I would of expended more money if it was cheaper. The wall in the bedroom had “nose bugger” stuck in the wall. The bathroom shower head needed some cleaning and the room mini fridge didn’t cool too much.

Very Nice Hotel. Location is excellent.

Location, cleanness, good size rooms. Free snacks and drinks.

Elevators were just on one size of the building. King Mattress were not very comfy. Sofa bed need better mattress. No direct access to the beach.

Overall, a great stay. A good choice to host our family reunion after 20+ years away.

The numerous activities and open space. Many places to lounge in the lobby and outside.

Centrally located elevators. Guests who stay in certain rooms have a long distance to walk to get there. When traveling with small children or handicapped people, this could create a unnecessary burden. Also, one of the elevators was not working. This left a long line for the elevators, and sometimes they didn’t work properly (skipping floors, not alerting awaiting guests of their arrival, etc.)
