- very few sunbeds on the beach - no rules for reserving a sunbed. A towel left on the sunbed keeps the sunbed occupied all-day. Maybe the one who left the towel has checked out at noon. - slow service at the pool

The Oberoi staff really did their best - far beyond our expectations - to maximize our comfort and make our short stay memorable for long time. The chic and style Amanda introduce the room and facilities. Glasses of iced water arrive to adult pool sunbeds even before we think about we will need it. Club cars stand still aside as we approach them and drivers always greet us warmly, such as garden workers. Dinner ambient with live music and torches. Unique sculptures all over the grounds. Things add up and make so much difference! On top of that, Oberoi participated in publishing a high quality color book about the Birds of Mauritius one can read in the room sofa. Oberoi for us is equal to sofistication and unrivalled care. Thank you so much!

It is beautiful, clean, private and quiet. The food and service across the resort were excellent.

The bed was hard and not as comfortable as those of other similar hotels we stayed at. The spa was disappointing compared to the Lux Grand Baie, Shanti Maurice, Maradiva Villas and JW Marriot where we stayed during our time on the island. It is the first spa I’ve ever visited where you are not taken to a relaxation room at the end of your treatment and offered a drink before you leave. It was a bit of a disappointment as we were incredibly impressed by the rest of the resort.

There is little space in the rooms. maximum for 2 x cottage. We were with a child and it is no longer comfortable. On the first day of our stay, we were rude by the bartender at the pool .. When cleaning, they did not remove dirty dishes and empty bottles from under the water. They did not put new water in, I had to call the reception and ask for water to be put in. Strange for a hotel of a good standard and this price category. the staff is pleasant but inattentive, especially the cleaning service and the restaurant
