The view is stunning and the property is so pretty.

Location is nice and front desk staff were very kind and helpful.
We had booked a regular room but was upgraded to a cabana. The cabanas have a sloped walk to and my husband has back issues so was uncomfortable to walk to and from. But the bigger problem was it was very hot and the air did not work well at all. The dining staff need to smile and be a bit more personable. We were moved to a room and that was much more comfortable. Also hoped to enjoy the pool but locals can pay to swim. Between guests and locals the pool was full so we never got to use the pool.

Very clean and quiet. A short walk into town for shopping and food. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Nothing bad to write about.

Every bit of it was great. Got the large cabana. Great view. The screened porch with the hammock was. The best. The staff was amazing
The ac could have been a bit better. Not a huge deal

That our group was unable to get an iron.

great breakfast and nice bungalows. with all the sounds of the “jungle” to put you to sleep
TV didn’t work. But didn’t want to watch much anyways

Pool was great and also the pool’s bar

Nice clean room with view over town. Very friendly, helpful and polite staff. Restaurant with some veggie options. Great pool - but busy at weekend. Good location to explore the area. Convenient on-site parking. Good WiFi.
Would have liked more drawer space in room.

We really enjoyed so many things about our stay! The staff was so helpful explaining all of our excursion options and preparing us for what to expect. The waitress and bar staff were especially friendly and so personable! We really enjoyed the bartender named Sara! She had great ideas of what to serve us when we couldn’t decide and surprised us with THE BEST garnishes for our drinks! She’s an asset to your business!
We didn’t find anything we didn’t like! Cahal Pech was one of MANY things we loved about Belize!

nice pools and great view
shower dribbled out water and had zero pressure

I love the little bungalow⁰s. Very good price, nice basic place. They do a wonderful job arranging activities (just about anything-ATM, Lamanai, Tikal etc). They have small groups and very knowledgeable and friendly guides.
No in room coffee or refrigerator. "To go" food for tours is not good. You order but get what you get" which may not be what you asked for (I specifically asked for no chicken legs and I got chicken legs). Super slow service which is fine unless you have to be somewhere.

Situated on a hill overlooking the town, wonderful view. A block away from the archeological site Cahal Pech. Didn’t have the time to enjoy the pools, but looked really nice. Food was good and great drinks by the pool.
The beds were super squeaky, there was mold in the shower and on the ceiling of the bathroom. We had noisy neighbors the first night on both sides, you could hear them talking well past midnight. It’s an old building, really could benefit from a lot of maintenance.

The terrace with a hammock, the view
Was not very clean, with body hairs from previous guests on the bathroom floor.

The location is beautiful as is the swimming pool area. Staff is very friendly and helps you out.
The bed/mattress was very hard en I couldn’t sleep due to it. Also the restaurant had long waiting times for food, my food would be served but my partner had to wait for a long time for his food.

The view is the best thing about this property, stunning.
Breakfast was good and reasonable value. The transfer to airport is affordable and convenient. The pools are gorgeous.
Room was shabby, needs an overhaul. Smelled musty.
No WiFi in the rooms.

The views are amazing. The food from the restaurant was really good! And all personnel super nice and friendly. The pool was nice.
The rooms (we stayed in the main building) were a little bit older than I expected. There was no A/C in the “living room” where the television was and also not in the bathroom.

great location…
As a nice location. Lacked cleanliness appearance and walk ways which can be easily cleaned or kept nice to the view.

A nice place to relax and close to all amenities. The on-site restaurant had good food and excellent staff. The bungalow was nice but starting to show its age. A fridge and coffee machine would be a nice addition. All the staff were very pleasant and friendly.
Nothing, all was as expected.

the view is amazing from the top of the hill if you’re staying in a bungalow, right next to cahal petch archaeological site, staff were super helpful and friendly, nice pool.
Walking into town is a schlep, the hill down into town is steep.
I stayed in a bungalow & and i got bitten by mosquitos every night inside the room, i literally had to sleep with the sheet over my face and i still woke up with a swollen eye from being bitten in eye lid, the air con doesn’t do much as the thatched roof on the bungalows but let air out,
i woke up my first morning at 8am to the staff re thatching my roof? i had to walk out and tell them i could hear their conversation and they were very loud and there was someone staying in the room they were sitting on took off.
The staff that keep the grounds are very loud so if you want a sleep in you probably won’t get one.
No fridge in the room
The restaurant was very expensive for what they offered, food was basic nothing amazing but typical of a belizean menu, but no fans in the restaurant area so makes for a very muggy meal.

The views to the mountains/valleys from the pool and our cabin were the best. I remember thunderstorms in the horizon and it was mesmerizing.
A lot of food and drink options and they offer a lot of activities.
There were a lot of insects, mosquitoes and the roof of the cabin was stinking the room. But we wanted one of the cabins so I guess you have to give in somewhere :)
Far away from everything, so no restaurants or anything around, up in a big hill. But that's how you get the views.

The view is amazing! We loved looking at the view while eating and having drinks at the bar and restaurant.
The pools were great, the food and drinks were great. We loved the staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful.
A representative from the resort planned many of our meals, all of our transports and excursions. Everything worked out perfectly!
The front entrance of the hotel looks as though it needs a little cleaning up and refreshing.
The van that picked us up from the airport was obviously pretty old and not terribly comfortable. It had trouble getting up the hill to the resort. We had to pull off the road and wait for a second van to get us.

This property has a beautiful view of the entire city and valley. It’s the perfect location for doing tours in the area. The staff is genuine and kind. The food is delicious.
I don’t have anything negative to say.

very nice rooms with a private hammock with a 3 way breeze, we slept at the bongalus (hope that's the way its spelt lol) and the room was nice! AC worked well and the staff are very friendly and helpful, food was nice and the drinks were good as well. if I ever come to Belize I would definitely stay there.
wifi could have been better, and nicer soup plus shampoo and conditioner would have been nice. also a chair in the room to sit down on the desk would have been nice as well but all things considered it was a nice stay

Nice location at the top of a hill, close to Cahal Pech Mayan ruins which is worth a few hours to see. I had no vehicle so did a lot of walking and a few taxis. The property is very nice, had a nice pool though I didn't use it. Friendly helpful staff.
The wifi was weak.

Property has multiple places with amazing views, multiple pools so it never seemed crowded, and the bungalows were a nice private alternative to hotel rooms. Restaurant and bar staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Place to fill up water bottles at the front was nice to have as well. Beds were comfortable and really enjoyed having hammock on the porch area.
This property is NOT accessible for all, and the walk to bungalows is extremely steep pathways or stairs. We also did not get the bungalow that was booked (per photos and descriptions at the time of booking) and when asked to change rooms what we thought we had booked was not available. Would have been nice to have water bottles or a refill for bottles in the rooms rather than having to walk to the reception area for that.

The bed and the pillow (the pillows were so incredible for me that i asked the reception if/where i could buy one) the view from the hotel, the terrasse was nice, the restaurant was good, we had no time to try the swimming pool but it looked nice. Reception = friendly people.
nothing in particular
