Room was clean and peaceful; grounds were as lovely as ever.

Concierge and hotel staff were not very friendly or helpful. Edgars was closed and Covey Grill wasn't open full hours (and on Easter wasn't serving regular breakfast), but we weren't notified of this in advance. On Easter we were charged full price for a breakfast sandwich "grab and go" meal, even though it didn't come with the sides listed on the menu. Just kind of disappointing to pay $16 for a single egg sandwich.

The room was very spacious and clean (big points for clean)! The location was beautiful and the grounds very well maintained. I have to say that we liked that the occupancy was low during our stay which I think positively contributed to the experience - no crowds for anything. It was very quiet and often felt like we had the place to ourselves.

I really have no complaints. The property and staff were great.

The room next to us had an adjoining door. We could hear the conversation of our neighbor. We put a towel at the bottom of the door but it didn't help much. I found my bed and pillows too soft. I didn't sleep well. This would prevent me from coming back (unfortunately). For the price I felt it could be better.
