The food was exceptionally good. The room and property were well maintained. The guard at the gate and the restaurant staff were very friendly.
Prior to check in we received an offer for options for our upcoming stay. When we called we had a hard time reaching an agent , once we did they were not trained well on what we wanted and wanted us to call back to check for availability . The front desk made us feel unwelcome it seemed because we were only staying for one day.. at which point I responded and said.. this time. On the morning of checkout our room key was disabled prior to checkout locking us out of our room. We had to find house keeping to let us in. All of this was unacceptable for a hotel allegedly of high quality .

The location
Worst service I have ever seen
We booked this hotel with my boyfriend to treat us for our anniversary so we chose what was supposed to be one of the best, with 5 stars and plenty of awards. Its not. It’s the worst.
It all started at check in, they kept us waiting in line for 10 minutes, nobody approached us or offered a drink or anything while waiting. This was at 5pm, not exactly rush hour, but there were 2 very unwilling employees behind the desk. Once we were checked in, they never explained anything about the grounds, or restaurants or anything. They just mentioned the gym and the bar. Bear in mind this is quite a big resort.
We had to drive to the parking lot (25USD + fees a night for an outdoor parking. It rains quite a bit in this part of Florida) where you have to carry your luggage to the lift and drag it to your room and at no point anyone offers any help. There’s no assistance of any kind. Again, FIVE STARS, over USD 600 a night plus a LOT of hidden fees.
We decided to order room service because it was raining and didn’t want to get wet. It arrived in a cardboard bag, and inside it was all plastic. Cutlery, cups, plates. It was like ordering Mc Donalds but VERY overpriced. They only have ONE vegetarian option, which is not even in the menu (its a beyond burger) and some the staff isn’t even aware of it.
They don’t replace your water bottles daily, they just give you 2 when checking in and good luck walking 500 feet to get one from reception.
The first day we were there, we left the room at 11 am, got back at 5pm and they still hadn’t cleaned the room. We had to call and ask. Again. 5 STARS.
On our last night, we tried making reservations at the one and only restaurant on site, but since it was raining quite heavily half of the restaurant is outside and was unavailable. We called 4 times, every time they told us it was full but they’d call us back with a solution (there’s no other restaurant) and they never did. So you get to starve if it’s up to them.

Theo was especially friendly and charming, he showed us the way to our room
We enjoy the 148 veranda room with back door directly to the patio with a lovely ocean view
the cleanliness, details and spaces of the room and bathroom were perfect
The bed has the best mattress (No so much the pillows)
Very nice common spaces with varied activities for the whole family and tastes (the little beach is no so great to swimming but you can spent the day very calm and relax with the sun and beautiful views)
The restaurant has very good selección, the food is good size and good quality made at the moment
Dinner outside with the sunset is wonderful! Stephany has very nice attention!
The breakfast was good too and Estefania was exceptional with the attention at the restaurant

I loved our large room! It was spotlessly clean and decorated beautifully. The view was heavenly! The staff was amazing and the facilities and the grounds were stunning.
Not really a complaint, but there were lots of families with small children and we were on a couples retreat. Perhaps couples and families could be at opposite ends of the resort. IF you are travelling with your family, this place would be great. So much for kids to do!

The overall price was very high and the restaurant was not that good for dinner, but it did have good breakfast and lunch. Also, the beach was not good during our stay.

The room was super clean, food was delightful, loved Mahina and the Beach restaurant. There are several pools and plenty room for all guests! No rushing to claim a lounge chair. They had play options for all ages; connect 4, volleyball net, ping pong, and giant chess etc.
Absolutely do NOT recommend the third party boat charter “Two Conchs” which we bought at the marketplace. That was a nightmare! Stay far away from that company they harassed my underage (13 year old) daughter!!!! When we complained to the company their response was “he has a girlfriend” Disgusting! The captain took his shirt off and came in the water with us at the sandbar we paid to be chartered too.

We were given a room quiet close to the family pool, which got quite noisy. I’m curious why families wouldn’t occupy the rooms near that pool and couples could have rooms further away!

What didn't I like ... this is my second time coming and it wont be my last ,I USED to stay at Cheeca Lodge and Spa, I feel bad but I don't think I will be going back ,The staff don't even get me started ... they are amazing Lydda is awesome , she always goes above and beyond from the moment you arrive until you leave ,she makes you feel like family don't ever loose her she is a rare find and an asset to anyone's company absolutely irreplaceable .The first time I ever Stayed with your resort was with my oldest daughter in Feb. 2023, I was exhausted and was stretching my self thin with work and life... It was exactly what I needed . Unfortunately they stay was not long enough . My daughter booked the trip threw Lydda and she made sure my stay was perfect so much so that I went home and canceled a resort in Key West for May 16 threw the 18th for my younger daughters birthday and book with you again. We arrived early and we needed a favor ... My daughter was going for a new Job and yup you guessed it they wanted to do an online interview with her in a quiet place and it couldn't be are car because we asked and they said no and if its not quiet they would remove her from the interview .. Hmm couldn't do it in the car couldn't do it on the grounds at the resort because of the noise so I asked Lydda if there was anything she could do to help . Lydda Sprung into action and started calling people before I knew what was happening she fixed everything . We couldn't get are room early because the guest were checking out later than the online interview so she asked Dolce if we could sit in the corner of the resturant with are lap top and do the interview while they were closed and Dolce not only let us in she turned off the music so it would be quiet for Kayla's interview. Thanks to them she got the possition .
Nothing... We enjoyed are selves so much I'm getting ready to come again with my husband before the end of the year.

This resort is top notch! Beautiful grounds and well maintained. When you enter you are greeted with winding lush road with greenery and lovely palm trees leading to a beautiful check in building. Very, very clean. Check in was easy and you receive either juice or champagne on arrival. Map of grounds is easy to understand. We had a 2 bedroom King suite on floor 2 with a balcony overlooking the ocean. As you walk through the grounds the foliage and layout is stunning. Beautiful paths with covered walkways. The buildings are kind of a mix between a plantation vibe and modern update. We had 2 bathrooms. The master bath was large and well lit with plenty of space. The main king bed area had a large TV and opened to a large deck with a sofa and chairs. Large closet for hanging and safe. You use a rubber bracelet to enter the room, pools etc. Large chess, ping pong, corn hole, shuffle board. There are multiple pools. The large "family" pool has a quick eat grill and drink bar attached and is large with plenty of seating and umbrellas. There a several smaller rectangular pools right outside every building and an "adult" pool with a bar also. All the grounds are well manicured and it is clear the staff takes great pride in their upkeep and making guests happy. We talked with Yoel (I'm probably spelling his name wrong) but he was out early caring for the pool, stocking towels etc. and he was nice enough to bring us a cooler or ice with bottled water while we sat at the pool. He really went above and beyond! The area has some walking trails and there is an area with palms and hammocks to relax and just enjoy the area right next to the pool. Nice beach also. Plenty of chairs on the beach and really no seaweed here to speak of. There is an attached marina for water sports or boat rental and tours etc. We did not partake but it looked very nice. A short walk is a large market place with food, beverages and merch. Lots to choose from.
The "2" bedroom is really 2 bedrooms connected by a hallway/bathroom. There is not separate living room area so the master bedroom is the "gathering" place. Since this resort is spread out there is a fair amount of walking to get places. When it rains the porches get soaked and all the furniture is very wet. Obviously not the resorts fault but be prepared for that. No microwave- there is a coffee maker. Frig is very small and would have appreciated bottled water daily. Would stay again though!

The property grounds are spectacular.
The choices of liquor at the bar. I felt like I was drinking well drinks and it makes you want to go out to a better bar. Please improve your liquor selections, it doesn't hurt you as an organization, it will only improve your selection. Add more food selection to the pool menu. When it rains, the rocks dust runs off into the smaller pools .

Staff is really rude. when I got back I my room there were people there. I called reception for a solution and they treated me like I was making that up. took me 2h until I got a room. unfortunately this is the 3rd time I visit and I ALWAYS have the same problem.
