Oh good grief
Location was great, there was shopping stores all over and restaurants.
I didn't like that my password didn't work and I had to make my own beds. There were no sheets and no blankets. Also didn't have no towels and toilet paper. No little shampoo and conditioner. Also the upstairs loft bathroom didn't work properly. The bed in the loft squeaked. And when using the ceiling fan, it felt like it was going to fall down on me.

Had an awesome time.
Closeness to lake
That housekeeping never comes and we were there 4 days. Towels were dirty but we reused them-sand in the sheets, but we used them for the 4 days

Oh was ok. Don’t know if I’ll stay here again
Front desk was so nice!
It’s outdated! Sliding doors did not close correctly!

We enjoyed the view and location very much.
The staff and the location were great
Each morning we'd go to the beach 8am to have lawn chairs available, a man who is part of the HOA at Lakeland, was yelling and cussing at all those there early in the morning, saying things "get off my beach, I havent'd cleaned it yet" We had two small plastic dog bags tied to a couple of lounge chairs... they were clean, he yanked them off and threw them in the trash... said the signs say we're clearing the beach!!! We had the lounge chairs near the water as he had line up others the same. He started each morning like that... very upsetting, here we were paying alot of $$ to be exposed to his abrasive personality. The condo, had many issues, closet entry doors were off the hinges, hair dryer in lower bathroom came off the wall, wall sockets in lower bedrooms not working. Upstairs, lights were out in the light above the table, icemaker in frig, came out even with the slightest touch, ice spilled all over. TV/VCR not connected... even after we had repairman in.. they said it was broken.

Comfortable, helpful staff and easy access to everything South Lake Tahoe has to offer!
Lakeland Village was pretty much as described and expected - rustic and charming; great location only yards from the beach and walking distance to restaurants, Whole Foods, Safeway, CVS, etc.; on site parking and transportation to downtown and back every hour during the day; courteous, professional and very helpful staff; clean and well appointed rooms; etc. My issue, however, is with the very undependable WiFi, internet and phone service. I was unable to access WiFi and internet in the first room I was assigned and when the tv stopped working I was moved to another room. WiFi and internet were more reliable but far from 100% and I was never able to make phone calls. All that being said and the fact its a little pricey, I probably would stay at Lakeland Village again if I get the opportunity to visit South Lake Tahoe.
Unreliable and mostly nonexistent WiFi, internet and telephone access! Also, the building where I stayed was being renovated so it was very noisy at times.

Disappointed, not sure I will be back.
Location and polite staff.
The couch was falling apart. There were big insects in the room. Cupboards in the kitchen did not open easily. No mention of construction taking place. Limited parking for guests. I have stayed several times

Probably one of the worst that I have had .
Location.
Construction work ongoing with great disturbance early morning and unavailability of any other room to move to despite request. I had even asked about this at check-in and the front desk stated that there is no construction related activity around my room. The construction workers were in my patio despite any prior intimation or authorization. Paid nearly 900 dollars for 2 nights of substandard stay. The soap and shampoo containers don’t function despite repeated pushes. Old VCRs and stuff was in the room. Would definitely not recommend for a family vacation .
