This resort is absolutely amazing. The gardens are just beautiful. It is private and peaceful. Because its an adult only resort it is so relaxing and peaceful. The pool is so lovely with a perfect temperature. The view is so beautiful looking out to sea with the white sand. We just didn't want to leave this place. The seating on the beach and pool is so comfortable and always available. The staff were incredibly helpful. We always had fresh beach towels everyday. The restaurant had delicious food and we always manged to get a table every night for dinner. I can't recommend this resort enough. We can't wait to go back.

aircon turns off after you exit the unit

Friendly beach side resort with lagoon views. Comfortable bungalows with fan and aircon. Free WiFi was bonus for the Cooks. The resort restaurant was excellent.
A bit of a walk to nearby restaurants.

Good location, Buffet BBQ and fire dancing was on the night we arrived and the resort reserved a table for us which was great.
We reserved the 2bed/2bath apartment which was perfect for our needs and very well equipped.
Breakfast was ok, but we didn't find out until a few days after we arrived there was an option to order barista coffees and cooked breakfast options (at an additional cost of course).
Transfer driver to the airport at end of our stay was pretty unfriendly

The staff were lovely and hotel was in a beaut setting. Saw whales every day!
Complimentary brekkie was just a little boring being the same every day. Would also love to see an alternative to the little plastic non recyclable containers of marmite etc

Been in unit close to restaurant, noisy after closing outside unit.

The pool, outdoor shower, gardens were beautiful, letting us use the guest lounge and general good vibes !
The third bed added to our room was too soft and not as comfortable as the other two for paying the same amount as other guests. Breakfast wasn’t very good and lacked variety.

Breakfast was ok (Get in early or the fresh fruit does not get replenished), otherwise, the OTB Restaurant meals are of a high standard. The Resort has a gorgeous outlook, especially the Beachfront Villa we stayed in (#1). The staff are friendly and helpful and the Beach is maintained daily by diligent staff. We would not hesitate to recommend this resort and would consider returning ourselves.
Perhaps sharper pricing seasonally.

Not a lot not to like but parking a problem,Wife not keen on outdoor shower.

A beautiful spot and an excellent room.
As first timers you have to be organised booking dinner etc. If you dont book then you have to find somewhere else close by. Also make sure you book a bike before you arrive to Raro as everything gets booked up pretty quick if the island is busy. But otherwise a great spot.

Spacious unit with good ventilation. Used aircon only 2 nights to cool room while at dinner
Sunsets. Almost no wind. Good restaurants in the vicinity.
Couldn't really swim as too many rocks/coral. Went to sanctuary to swim.

Breakfast was fine and great to have it included in the cost. The staff were great. Nice location to see the sunsets
Evening meals were a little overpriced for fairly ordinary fare. We liked having the cats around but did have a strong smell of cat pee in the room one night. Not sure how the cat got in. We understand that the cats are beyond your control.

This resort was just lovely and provided us with a very relaxing break. The staff were super helpful and friendly, the breakfasts and other meals were great from the On The Beach restaurant attached to the resort and the location was stunning with superb sunsets every night. Always nice to have comfortable beds, too.

great location near other restaurants and resorts to walk to , lovely restaurant and pool on site
the snorkelling and swimming in the lagoon in front is not the best. better to travel down the coast a bit

set up of resort, well thought out. pool side and beach excellent.
restaurant lovely location.
great staff.
great sunset and best cocktails on the island
No children
I would rate breakfast as okay. Small portions of fruit which ran out and was not really topped up.
Because restaurant is popular there was no options for guests when booked out. Hard when holiday and limited things open. One night we struggled to get food, as no car or scooter available over long weekend.
I would like to see a menu for those staying in the lower price range with more variety.
However food available was very good.

Great location and the restaurant food and cocktails were fabulous.
Stayed one level back from the beach for the first 6 nights and then beachfront on the last night. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Make sure you book in for evening meals well in advance as we were booked in by the staff on the first night but found out it was full the second and third.

Great location, friendly staff. OTB restaurant right there with excellent dinners watching the sunset. loved the room and the outdoor shower.

It was very hard to judge as we were there when the restaurant was closed due to COVID
That we travelled when COVID had affected the facilities. BUT this isnt a reflection on the resort at all - as out of their control

The pool area was amazing but the service let it down
We were in Rarotonga to look at wedding venues and we wanted to stay at a couple of places during our stay to find our perfect location.
We had stayed over at Muri Beach (other side of the island) for our first week before coming to stay at Manuia for our second week and we realised how spoilt we were when it came to the service and little touches we received at the last resort.
For the money we paid per night at Manuia I felt a lot of the little touches were missing from the room and we were very disappointed by the service received especially in the restaurant area. Our first couple of days they could only make 2 cocktails out of the 10-12 on the menu which I found bizarre and for one particular staff member everything seemed too much of an effort. The “daily” special for both food/drinks menu stayed the same for the whole entire week which is also a shame when there is such a little menu to choose from in the first place and you are staying there for a week.
Overall the only positive experience we had with staff was with the lovely maid who was always so friendly and helpful and the lovely young girl on Reception.

The small to medium size of the resort was lovely. Plus each unit was quite private. The staff were friendly and helpful.
There was a mix up of a food bill and also the room bill at the end. Luckily we had time to sort it out before going to the airport.
The breakfast was adequate but could have been a little more exciting. Maybe more fruit and perhaps some pastries.

The resort itself is beautiful and I can highly recommend the beachfront villa. Easy access to the pool, great views of the ocean and good shade from palm trees. Beautiful! The evening meal is limited but very good. Booking for the evening is essential as bookings from elsewhere on the island will be prioritised over the hotel guests with a 'first come first served' approach.
On the morning after we arrived we were told that no cooked breakfast was being offered due to staffing shortages. Breakfast to all intents and purposes was non-existent. "Continental" is way below standard and not what you expect after flying all of that way to a luxury resort. We ended up hiring a car and driving to local cafes for coffee and breakfast.
Also, a family arrived and their children invaded the pool. Completely unacceptable for an 'Adults only' resort. I was not expecting that to be an issue; we'd looked specifically for a children free zone to escape other people's badly behaved and entitled children. Frankly, even having to listen to them playing on the beach is way too much.

The infinity pool easy access to town
Limited menu options. No tv for rainy days in room.
