The landscape surrounding and the beach

The food is not that good, not even 4* hotel. Can not book Ala Carte restaurant as it is always full. The advert about multiple resraurants is misleading, only one big main one but the food is not good.

Very nice family resort. I liked the green open spaces. Gardens and flowers. Food in the restaurant was delicious. Staff is friendly and helpful. Turkish restaurant is very good.

A few things I didn’t like. Cocktails ( cheep alcohol), red wine was ok. It is not 5 stars , maybe 4. The beach is not what I expected.

Excellent family suit with proper bathroom, very good European food, cozy territory, lovely beach. Want to return here.

There is no way to get to spa without stairs. Had to haul stroller with baby via stairs.

We liked the village concept, our apartment was very comfortable for a family to stay - we were two couples and two small children. We liked the food and the beach very much. We appreciated the different services that the hotel offered - both payable and free. Reception personnel was very helpful, and housekeeping was attentive to our needs.

Staff at the restaurant was not very friendly, especially since hearing that not all of us spoke German. Some waiters were looking to be tipped off after every day of service and disliked visitors with children (of which there were very many, of course).

Good stuff, very smiley and respectful people especially the reception crew. The design of the village, it is build as seperated hostels. . .

Activities, there are almost no activities for children. The mini kids felt like they were not active during the day. Games: lack of game room, they have some old games that are not fully functional. No gym. The mini bar is replaced every 2 days.. The lobby is based on an open door, most of the time it is cold and cannot enjoy it...on top of that there is a limited menu which is not appropriate for such a hotel (a.k.a. 5 stars)..

Our rate was good for what they offered. In summer is too expensive I think! At sea side, a good all inclusive (not outstanding), a mix of nature and blocks pleasant to see! Good food, food pools!

The rooms are more village like than in a large hotel, the complex is green and pretty. Though it was full, everything was very clean, service was quick, friendly and helpful, it was quiet, and usually didn't feel crowded. Good food and variety. We enjoyed the heated outdoor pool, the slides, the beach and more facilities. German oriented, but everyone spoke English and made us feel welcome. Good staff at the reception, very efficient in the dining areas.

We knew there were rocks in the sea, but still managed to hurt ourselves.

Many thanks to the Melas Holiday Village for our amazing summer holiday! We were satisfied with everything, the room, food, service, the areal of the hotel, distance to the beach and to the centre of Side, evening program in the amphiteatre....everything was perfect. Special thanks to the amazing staff of the hotel! They were so friendly, nice and professional! The funny towel's animals created by the cleaning lady in our room was just an amazing cherry on the top! We can reccomend this hotel to everyone and we would love to come again!

Everything was wonderful! The attitude of the staff, the service, the cleanliness and the wonderful food. The location is excellent. The beach is wonderful. There were very nice evening programs organized by the hosts. Beautifully maintained gardens. A truly magnificent place to relax for families with children.

This was our second time at this resort, and it was even better than the first time! We had four families with young children. Everyone enjoyed the great beach, nice size swimming pools, waterslides. Food was just amazing. Great shows every night. We were there for two weeks! And they always had different shows, magic, circus, kids, Turkish dance and so on. One night they had a huge dancing party with lots of entertainment, dancing and drinks. We loved it. Everything is super clean. Staff is super friendly especially Julia at reception and Russian girls from kids club, and the water gymnastics girl! Big thank you to all of you. You made our vacation and family get together just perfect. We had a family room, larger size room, facing the pool. It was spacious with modern bathrooms and comfy mattresses. Internet was not the best but I tried to not to touch my phone or computer on vacation. We went to fish restaurant, and last year to Turkish restaurant. Both times were ok but no one speaks English and the service is a little slow we preferred the buffet. Instead of going to restaurants last night we asked for a separate reserved table at buffer and it was more beautiful and enjoyable than restaurant in our opinion. Probably because we had kids and they don't like fish or don't want to wait :)

The hotel gives you a feeling of living in a small international village where everyone is a family or a friend. It has beautifully landscaped gardens and plenty of walking and playing areas. The rooms are a bit on the smaller side, but are impeccably clean and quiet enough to let you a get good night’s sleep after a day full of sun, beach and great food. The staff, from gardeners, cleaners, waiters and cooks to receptionists and managers are super professional and friendly and work very hard to make sure you have your best vacation. If we are ever going back to Antalya, we are definitely going back to Melas!

Twice a week, there’s a disco with lights in the large open area near the pool that goes on till 11:15 at night. While they play great music and most “villagers” seem to really love it, I wish it ended earlier because some elderly residents found it too loud and disruptive to their bedtime routines.

Lovely garden area; very close to the beach; lots of loungers; very good entertainment; 2 very good size swimming pools; excellent food. Very nice room with a comfortable bed. I am not sure what more you could want.

Would have been nice to have iron in the room and also fresh juice/ greater variety of non alcoholic drinks.

Everything was good. Went to one resort the week before and one afterthis. Wished we had just stayed there.

i absolutely loved it views are fab, food is excellent with a good selection all day from starters to main meals and deserts, staff are very helpful and friendly, you can walk along the Prom down to Side it’s a beautiful walk.hoping to book again for next year I was that impressed.

if I was picky the room we were in had no iron but everything else was ok basic clean, but comfortable with a good shower 😊
