Exceeded my expectations

Food (especially thai) and service are great The pool slide guarantees endless kid's entertainment combined to Kid's club activities Free accesss to kayak and sailing boats Rooms are very comfortable The beach is clean, safe and easily accessible from the hotel Windy so never too hot + no mosquitoes

Building looks a bit run down Massage place is in the middle of everything and so loud aka not very relaxing (but the massages are great)

Очень старые номера возле моря, не соответствующие качеству и цене. Очень сыро и много комаров. Очень старый ремонт, мебель старая. То что заявлено на сайте не соответствует действительности и требованиям для нормального проживания. Жалко потраченных денег, поменяли отель сразу. Номер 113 первая линия

peaceful, but a little disappointed

As it is close to the public beach, the hotel does not have control over who enters the pool area, so people who are not staying use the facilities, which ends up transforming a private place into a public one. The pool bathrooms are practically public, as people often come in just to use them. Non-guests spend the day at the pool occupying chairs and even saving slide “mats” for their children to use. This greatly compromises security, as they have no control over who enters or leaves the hotel premises.

Very bad experience.

Only the location of the hotel is good.

Your front office team was not good starting from your reservation team before i came who completely ignore the fact that i already went to Saai lagoon maldives last year and i choose your hotel this year and they didnt confirm the reservation till i transfer the whole amount and u can check there emails to me who was not polite at all. When i came to check in after a 13 hours flight with my 3 years old baby and my wife who was pregnant your reception ask me to show my credit card (which i dont understand) and made me pay 1 PT with it and one i told them that never happened with me before they simply say "every hotel have its policy. They need to take an English course also as i had to speak to 3 different people to order white toast to my room.on the second day my wife and my baby was not well and on the breakfast time i ask them over the phone if they can bring breakfast to my room they refused and made me pay 1800 PT for it. The only good thing about your hotel is the house keeping who know how to smile and how to do there job the right way. After a good experience at Saii maldives last year you made my experience so bad this year and im sure next time will never make it to your hotel again.

화장실 욕조 지저분해서 사용할 수 없음 ㅠㅠ 수영장 슬라이드 재밌지만 옆 부분에 돌출된 부분 있어서 꼭 다리 팔 잘 모으고 타면 좋음 완전 아이는 재밌어 함 100번 타고 옴

Overall it was a great stay. If they changed the beds and pillows, I would come back regularly.

The location and staff were excellent

The beds and pillows are rock hard and need desperate upgrading. They are not international standard.

Disappointing

The breakfast staff were lovely, friendly people and assisted with any need.

The sheets were dirty on arrival and had to be changed which isn’t convenient after hours of travelling. The flip flops were dirty and had obviously been worn by the previous guests. There was 10% service charge on everything. On meals, fine, but if you buy a can of coke there’s a 10% charge + 7% Vat charge. So it makes it really awkward to pay with cash. I checked in and was in the hotel 5 minutes and was excited when the receptionist told me about the traditional Thai set menu happening that night. Then she told me that I can’t attend actually because I’m a solo traveller and the menu is for 2 people. I asked if she could check if something can be arranged as I’m a female solo traveller, she said no. Why not? I was in a 3 star hotel in Bangkok and a 3 star hotel in Chiang Mai prior to staying at Saii Laguna and they were more accommodating to solo travellers than this ‘5-star’.

on the whole a good stay, the ground is very beautiful . Would have given a 5 otherwise

Room a bit outdated. Beach is very nice. Breakfast can do with more variety. no coffee in room. Concierge or front desk no very informative when asked about various places to go or in the evening or transport available e.g we were no told about the shuttle service until we found out from other guests.

There is no coffee sachet in the room. The was filter coffee in a sac but no actual filter to make coffee. A ready made coffee granules would be good. This is standard expected for all 4-5 stars hotel.

Wonderful stay in a well kept resort, with sadly one issue that couldn't be fixed.

The room, food, and facilities were fantastic. I loved the oil burner when coming in to the room (although it would have been nice if this was re-lit by cleaning staff each day so the room always had such a beautiful scent). The pool was lovely and everything was well kept.

Our only complaint would be that the door to our room was dodgy. Although the cards we were given would work (they flashed green), the door itself never opened first try - something was sticking. It often took us between 4 - 10 tries to get the door open each time which was really frustrating. We raised this with staff twice - once they took my card and promised to send someone to fix it - which they never did and I never got that card back. The second time they just gave us new cards, which did not fix the issue as it was with the door itself. Sadly, this did leave a bit of a poor taste in our mouths, as it felt a bit like we were ignored on this issue, and it was an annoying one to put up with.

Hotel with great location, but it had no atmosphere and not great value for money.

great hotel location. the Club was a great facility for breakfast, daytime drinks and cocktails, which we really enjoyed.

had a club oceanfront room, which was disappointing- good size but tiny balcony with barely enough room for the small table and 2 chairs. not good value for money. hotel restaurants no atmosphere and empty in the evenings, probably because good local restaurants were much cheaper.

Cleen room, smells nice. Has a pool right front of the beach and plenty of beds.

The services aren’t that fast. But they will keep try to help you. Also facilities are quite far from the hotel. Not much to do around

Good location

The breakfast was excelent, the views breathtaking. The room was spotless and the staff very friendly.

The food was a bit pricy, we ate a lot outside the hotel. They lack an outside playground.

Exceptional

The most beautiful beach, perfect location - near the hotel you can find cafés, massages, Maya and Catch dance/beach clubs. The stuff is polite and quick to answer any questions. Great breakfast- local and European cuisine.

Disappointing

Rooms were lovely; big, spacious and clean. Massive bed and good air con!! Reception and the quiet areas of the pools were nice too. The location of the hotel is brilliant, right by beach restaurants so perfect for evening or lunch on the beach.

The hotel is tired. The sunbeds are so uncomfortable and most are broken, missing screws or collapsing when laying on them. My back was crippled most days. The staff were very untrained. No waitress service around the pool and no empty glasses removed all day and we were told to go to another bar when we wanted a drink as they didn’t have time. At breakfast we cleared our own plates! Not luxury!!! The restaurants closed very early and staff said we could only have coffees in takeAway cups towards the end of the evening (about 9.30pm). We went to the seafood bbq, finished and closed at 9.30pm. we were sat in darkness as the staff has gone home and we hadn’t finished our dinner. They are not hot on allergies either. We had a major incident but the hotel dealt with it not so badly. I’ve stayed at this hotel before when it was Laguna Beach and much preferred it back then!!
