Toller Pool und die Anlage in Summe sehr gepflegt, hier kann man schon mal Urlaub machen. Dazu einer der sehr leckeren Cocktails, dann ist es nahezu perfekt.

Wir hatten das letzte Zimmer bzw. waren am Ende der Anlage, wo es leider laut war (u.a. Bauarbeiten, Treffpunkt des Personals und der Betrieb des Strom-Generators) und auch ständig nach Diesel gerochen hat. Ja, wir hatten die günstigste Zimmer-Kategorie gebucht, aber soetwas muss im Urlaub auch nicht sein. Was den Gesamteindruck der Insel angeht, dafür kann das Sara Resort auch nichts, aber es ist schon ziemlich dreckig rundum, mit vielen Bauruinen, im Wasser scwimmt leider ein ständiger Ölfilm und noch einiges mehr.

What a lovely and well run resort. From the minute we stepped on the beach, we were greeted by a whole team from the resort and they took our bags, sat us down and gave us a complimentary welcome drink while a lovely man explained everything to us. Room was kindly upgraded to a bungalow, definitely worth the money if you have the option to choose, super modern, everything works as it should (not always the case at island resorts). Service was incredible, there’s obviously good training and culture instilled here as the staff actually looked like they were having fun. Beach bar team were a good laugh, and happy hour seems to last all day!!

Literally loved everything here. Not a single bad thing to say. They even dropped us off at the ferry pier when we had to leave.

スタッフがとても親切。プールの居心地が良い。ハッピーアワー、週末のファイヤーダンスが良かった。港からも近く、スーツケースが濡れないように運んでくれた。 部屋は小さめですが快適に過ごせました。目の前のビーチは遠浅で穏やかですが、風の強い日は波が出たり、変化も楽しかったです。居心地が良すぎて延泊しました。ニワトリが朝鳴くのも、のどかで良かった。近くにお店や他のレストランもありました。

Reggie helped us with trying to resolve issues we had with our stay due to the issues mentioned below. He went back to the owner/senior staff a few times to try and meet our expectations to resolve these issues so thanks for the effort from Reggie alone.

The room was dirty, mould and literal clumps of hair were found. The biggest issue we had was finding a thumbnail size patch of fresh blood on our duvet cover. This was raised to Elliot, the night manager, who said we were lying and refused to resolve this by changing the bed sheet (even after I offered to change it myself) due to "working departmentally" meaning for some reason he didn't have access to any replacement bed sheet which does make you wonder what he manages. I asked him what would happen if a child had been ill or someone had suffered with D&V and his first response was they would just to put up with it like us till morning before changing this opinion once I had questioned it again. After 1.5 hours of discussing this with him he eventually came to the room as requested to look at the blood, grim and mould in the room and still denied it wasn't to a four star standard on here. This is now 01:00AM and we're listening to him state that blood can't provide any diseases or pose a health risk which we couldn't believe especially given the several vaccines we had prior to the trip mostly being linked to blood borne diseases. He eventually got a member to staff to change the sheet and did offer a deep clean the next day but our trust in the establishment had gone. This wouldn't have been as big of a problem for us had the sheets been changed straight away, even if i had to of done it myself. I still can't believe this lengthy dispute even happened as it is truly appalling customer service for a very legit and potentially serious issue. We were offered originally a $10 meal voucher which we declined as compensation for the issues above as if the rooms are this dirty the kitchen is likely just as unhygienic. This went up to a $50 meal voucher the next day which we declined for the same reasons. We eventually had to settle for a $70 refund on our $101 a night room as we had to cover the tax...
