Relaxing location at end of bay.

Staff were fantastic and kind and helped with everything. Speedboat drop off pier right on top of resort - 3 minute walk. Resorts sends a little boat to transfer your luggage for you - all well organised. Slower boat ferry a 10 min walk away but same arrangements made. Reception will call boat company to confirm your return pick up. Location on the beach was the most peaceful on the entire beach, water cleanest and calmest point with few boats. Rooms large. Restaurant quiet and very open . Most people walk 10 mins along beach front to other restaurants either independent or linked to a resort. Be careful with BBQ options - some resorts look after their seafood better before cooking than others. Hostels not so careful (bugs running over food on display). More popular places (eg Sara's) are cleaner and fast turnover means fresher food used. Food prices have gone up. Dish $7, BBQ $10-18, Beer 2, coffee $3, allow $ 25-30 with one drink for dinner for 2 people. 3x a week, fire thrower show moves along beach Infront of dining for 15 mins. Very easy to pick up a 1hr boat trip $10 to swim with glowing plankton. At end of season waterfall dried up and dirty (don't bother), walk to lazy beach/sunset beach (40 min) ok but nothing their, lots of plastic - Saracen Bay better.

Restaurant food choice was limited and quite western in style. Portions very small and more expensive than other restaurants on beach including drinks. Room cleaning meant arranging pillows and replacing drinks. Floors could have been mopped and surfaces wiped. Bed mattresses very hard. Air conditioner had no instructions and a printed guide in room would help. Also some signs to improve requests to cleaner in room would help. A make up room/do not disturb sign would help. See-through day time curtains would provide privacy into room. Cannot keep on air conditioner during day with only one key - bit mean considering you cannot stay out in 100F hear at height of day and room warms up quickly. Points above are all minor - the stay was nice

Traumhafter Urlaub im Inselparadies!

So stellt man sich das Paradies vor! Eine Ruheoase mit Traumstrand, extrem freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, geräumige, gekühlte und saubere Zimmer, gutes Essen (unglaublich leckeres und üppiges Frühstück). Vom Moment der Buchung an war die Erfahrung durchweg positiv, ich habe Bus- und Fährempfehlungen bekommen und mir wurde der Rücktransport mit einem Taxi gebucht. Ich war elf Nächte dort und konnte immer noch nicht glauben, wie schön es ist. Ich kann mir keine bessere Unterkunft vorstellen und möchte unbedingt wieder kommen.

Zum Duschen braucht man etwas Geduld, der Wasserdruck ist nicht so stark, aber man hat ja Zeit im Urlaub. Das wlan war auch nicht immer da, aber weit überwiegend und man sollte bei der tollen Kulisse ohnehin das Handy beiseite legen und nur genießen.

Beautiful oasis on Saracen Bay!

Amazing room and view of the ocean. Very friendly staff. Got help finding our way to the other side of the island. Also liked the free Kayaks. Breakfast was tasty. Helpful getting our bags to the dock when we left.

Could have been more snorkeling equipment to borrow.

Saracen Bay Resort is definitely situated on the best stretch of beach on Saracen Bay. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The rooms were immaculate and large. And the restaurant had great offerings for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Incredibly kind, hardworking, accommodating staff. Loved the water hose outside the room to spray feet/shoes before entering. Very cold AC. The water and beach was cleaner here than at other parts of the bay. Highlight of our trip to Cambodia.

Expect slow service at the kitchen, because they seem to be understaffed.

best hotel on the island but it's not saying much

the location is undoubtedly it's key selling point

mosquitoes in our room and no mosquito net over the bed so we both were bitten the night. we did complain about this on arrival and they did try to fix the problem but the mosquitoes were well hidden. we also asked for our room to be made up after the second night of our stay but it wasn't done. You just don't feel like anybody really cares.

Nice staff and beautiful view from our room

Nice staff and beautiful beach. To be honest, Saracen's beach seemed very dirty to me, I don't know if it was because of the time of year I was there, or if it's always like that, but Saracen Bay Hotel was the only hotel I saw that cleaned the garbage every day, so the beach the hotel was always clean. The hotel has a good restaurant, it has internet of a few megabytes but for being an island it is appreciated that there is internet to be able to communicate. We arrived on the island by the GTV boat company and the hotel staff met us at the port to help us with our bags.

Amazing beach front hotel with some space for perfection

- very calm, secluded place with a beautiful beach and amazing view from the villa - good Wi-Fi - nice villas - good breakfast - friendly staff

- our room was cleaned just once in 5 days and it was made only after our request! - no shower gel, only a poor soap included (we bought a bottle ourselves for 4,5$, so it’s better to bring your own) - water pressure in a shower could be better. I have long hair and it was a challenge for me to wash off a shampoo - no TV - power cuts several times per day. Electricity was back just in a second, but it was quite annoying with an AC switch on/off noise in the middle of the night as well as reconnection to WIFI at a day time

Gorgeous place to chill out for a few days

Lovely villas located on the best stretch of beach at Saracen Bay. Fabulous views from our veranda. Super helpful staff - in particular Channy - who was exceptionally kind & helpful. Reasonably priced food & drink in the restaurant.

Beautiful resort with perfect service.

Perfect resort, clean beach, beautiful view from front villas and really pleasant and fast service.

They can add some mosquitieres to the door so they should be opened during hot days/nights. No TV on room can be problem for some people.

Vanny and Channy plus other staff. Warm, gracious and accommodating. Location - at the end of main beach. Clean white soft sand. "Villa" good spacing between and spacious inside. Breakfast was consistently good.

Really nothing. On Windy days at the beach I looked enviously at other properties with pools. But still preferred where we staying to the others

The location is perfect. The room was spacious and comfortable. The food was the best of our holiday so far.

We didn’t realise that there are no roads on the island and that you have to walk along the beachfront to the resort. Thankfully the resort is quite close to the jetty (compared to other resorts at least). A man at the jetty rang the resort to send people to help with our baggage.

An ideal place to relax. Clean and spacious beach. The sea side villas are a dreamlike place. The staff is extremely polite, helpful and friendly. The dishes in the restaurant are always fresh and delicious. Resort leaves unforgettable memories and allows you to completely forget about the hustle and bustle of the urban jungle.

I highly recommend this property. I stayed longer than a week. very comfy bungalows, very clean, the best beach on the island and an extremely nice staff. For people who is looking for calm and comfortable place for holidays it is the best place. I chose it because of great comments on the site and I am happy I did it.

All good friendly staff, what was nice was the resort was actually closed there was some form of a breakdown of communication between Booking.com and the resort for what ever reason, but the staff were up for the occassion

The mosquitoes were the only thing not to like fortuneately they were only active for a short period of time early in the evening and that would be that, that was really the only thing not to like, happy days really

Stayed six nights ar this wonderful resort. Staff couldn't have been more welcoming and have obviously worked hard to ensure that the whole resort (including beach and garden) are spotless and well maintained. It's a little more expensive than some neighbouring resorts but this is definitely a case of 'you get what you pay for'. Very quiet location and great food at the resort. Also just a short walk down the beach to other restaurants and bars. If you are looking for a relaxing stay on a beautiful, white sand beach, this is the place to go. Highly recommended.

The hotel is very comfortable, very suitable for chilling

The location of the hotel is five minutes away from the lively place,so it is very quiet around the hotel at night which allows us to sleep very well,the beach around the hotel is also very clean, without any rubbish~ And if you live in the front row house, when you wake up you can see the beautiful view in front of your eyes. The owner and his employees are so friendly and their food are so delicious and my favorite breakfast is British breakfast, so we always ate the breakfast at the restaurant of the hotel and for lunch & dinner we walked to the restaurant five minutes away from the hotel to eat And the owner is also very caring. We asked him about the day trip itinerary the morning before,he remembered it the next day and provided us with reliable information. He also arranged for other Korean travelers who also wanted to participate in this activity to join us to share the boat fee.

The blankets in the hotel are a bit thin. If you like to sleep in cooler temperatures wrapped in a quilt like me, you may need to ask the hotel for another blanket.
