The location, the views, the staff, the breakfast, the shuttle

The workout room was very rundown and dirty. The towels were very tired and old. Sometimes there was no power in the room sockets to charge phones etc

Het uitzicht over het stadje El Coron Proper. Het restaurant heeft een grote kaart en vol op keuze. Zeer goed.

We hadden een kamer op de 4de verdieping. Geen lift. Kamer heeft geen terras. Zwembad uitnodigt niet uit om in te zwemmen.

The staff were amazing! The shuttle service makes everything easy and convenient, it was on time I just needed to make sure to let the front desk that I wanted to get the service. The view was stunning and the buffet breakfast was delicious. If you get a massage, ask for Melanie, lovely lady.

The only thing for me was the pressure of the water in the shower

The property was overall dirty. Especially the pool area.

stunning view from the hotel (panoramic view, cause hotel is up in the mountain), BUT you dont need to worry about the transportation to town (they have free shuttle to the center and back). Restaurant deserves all the applauses, cause the food is the best in all town, do dont waste your time in searching better places :) staff is helpfull and welcoming :) also, the pool is great plus, cause sometimes the tours to islands are cancelled because of weather conditions, so you could spend great time near pool and have a massage ;)

the only disappointing moment is the smell in the rooms of mold :/// we even asked to change the room because of that smell. Fortunatelly we got another one, which was in better condition, but close to breakfast restaurant (you can hear people starting to prepare food from 5am in the morning). Also, take in mind, that proposed tours by the hotel are overpriced by approx 25-30%, so you can arrange the same tour with the same provider in lower price (with pick up and drop off to the hotel)

Çalışanların hepsi çok yardımsever ve naziklerdi. Shuttle olmadi hayati kolaylaştırdı. Kahvaltı çok güzeldi.

Bence otelden beklenen herşeyi karşıladı. Fiyat denge performans bakimindan iyiydi. Kötü birşey yok

Room was good but noisy air conditioning. Basically property needs a lick of paint and deep cleanse.

Staff friendly. Views over coron. Quieter than other places in coron. Food looked good.

If honest then photo’s are flattering. Was originally in family room that but large mirrors made it look bigger than it was so went to delux room for extra £100. However, it is Palawan and it’s better than a vast majority of options.

The only room with a balcony with a good view of the distant ocean and mountains, and also the western style toilet.

From the start we knew we had made a bad choice when it was very clear that it wasn’t presented correctly in the description of being 700m from the beach. A blatant mistruth as I thought we could walk to the beach which was THE MAIN REASON we booked there. The only means of getting to the seashore was a 10-15 minute drive which fortunately was supplied. Then when shown to our room, it was so musky smelling that it was impossible to stay in the room so I asked for a refund to find alternative accommodation. The staff weren’t able to deal with that and said we needed to go through booking.com which we tried emailing… only to receive a follow up email that everything was sorted out … NOT! The staff tried to give us another room (without a balcony) but it too had the same strong musky smell. Then the door was so swollen with moisture that it was extremely hard to open and shut and the phone had no signal to ring the service desk about it. The staff were really friendly and fixed the door problem but unable to fix the phone which was connected into a large hole in the wall containing many other wires. The shower enclosure was good but the water had so low a pressure that we needed to spend four times the time needed to shower. But time didn’t bother us as apart from Island hopping, Coron had absolutely nothing of interest to go to. The bed was quite firm and coupled the old air conditioner which was so noisy, it was hard getting to sleep … coupled with the musky smell that we tried to mask out by putting some lavender and peppermint oil we had, on our face. The ONLY reason we gave two stars was due to the friendly staff, but otherwise, this was the only holiday we’ve had in the Philippines that we looked forward to leaving … and with much regret that we wasted so much money on. Btw if you’re looking for an actual beach with sand on it, don’t bother with Coron!

Miscommunication between Booking.com and hotel staff.

Swimming pool, staff offered us towels and goggles to use for free. Restaurant and breakfast food was pretty good. Responsive staff, also helpful security and kind shuttle drivers. Proper warm showers. Good working wifi.

Mold in the bathroom. Pool table is imbalanced and must pay for use. Some spots like swimming pool need renovations.

customer service. amazing staff. always ready to help. very observant to guests likes. making guests feel special. this was my 2nd time in this resort and will definitely come back to stay.

Breakfast is fantastic. The crew are very friendly. From what i know, they are the only hotel that serves a free shuttle at any place within the city.

The air condition is a bit old school. It generates unwanted noise.

We stayed in a lovely tree house as part of our stay at Skylodge Resort, and from our first arrival, the staff were superb. The enthusiastic men and women working at Skylodge proactively offered support and help throughout our stay. When we unfortunately got ill during our stay, the front desk was able to offer basic medication to make for a more comfortable stay.

The location is a little far from town, but regular shuttle services were offered making this a small point. Otherwise, rooms were a little small, but considering the price, this was fair.

When we arrived to our room the A/C was already on so the room was cool and it was a very appreciated detail due to it being so hot and humid. Good location, staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was pretty good. We were able to eat there for dinner which was great.

Somehow there was a lot of mosquitoes in the room compared to other places we stayed. The staff did help with some spray but I still got bitten quite a few times.

Beds/beddings were itchy and smells like it was stored in the cabinet for so long. Having a lift(elevator)in the property would be a great help for the elderly and people with knee problem like me. The pool area needs more lighting and should be cleaned at all times(lots of bugs/centipedes on the water).
