Bekväma sängar, bra dusch, bra utsikt från infinity poolen, fantastisk pool, bra minibar, bra städning, bra nattning.

Rum för dyrt för Thailand och alla rum var lika i princip då man inte klippt ner palmerna så vårt rum hade ingen panoramisk utsikt trots att vi betalt extra för ett sådant rum. De anställda skyllde på att träden hade vuxit och man kunde gå upp på taket och se utsikten istället. Överprisade menyer utan moms och service inkluderat. Blir farligt att spela USA i Thailand. Långt mellan pool och bar gjorde man miste poolvibe då där inte var musik, mat och drinkar direkt tillgängligt. Löstes dock med ringklocka.

Relaxing with epic views!

We loved our stay at Varivana! The architecture is really unique and we had a room on the 3rd floor with a stunning view out to the jungle. We loved watching and listening to the jungle from the comfort of our own space. The finishes were beautiful, everything was well thought out. Room service were very accomodating, everyone was lovely, and the rooftop pool has real wow factor. We felt really relaxed during our stay here and would come back in an instant!

Not much! The only thing was that there wasn’t somewhere to sit super comfortably in the room. A second chair might be handy :) the bean bags were comfy for lounging though. And the water didn’t get very hot so we couldn’t have a bath, but a shower with the view was still incredible.

The best hotel on the island but I’m biased :)

Amazing hotel, loved everything about it. Stunning views, lovely pool area. Felt at home immediately and didn’t want to leave! Staff was so friendly, especially Bryan, Bam and Ray, will miss them ❤️

Absolutely amazing place!

If you love nature, views and calmness this place is perfect. The interior of the rooms and architecture in general. The staff is extremely helpful and speaks English very well. The infinit pool on top is the highlight - it’s just breathtaking swimming and enjoying being on the middle of palm farms and their big Natur garden plus having the views over the island up to the coast. The location is surrounded by plenty of top brunch places and restaurants and the best beaches of the island. They also get you a quite cheap scooter for 350 bat and pick u up from the pier for free.

Sometimes there was sewage smell noticeable in the bathroom. Other than that it was perfect.

Ожидания от отеля были очень высоки, хотелось насладиться красивым и модным номером, что на фото, бассейном, СПА зоной. На деле все выявилось не совсем радужно: грязные стены номера, их не перекрашивали несколько лет, двери фанерные, щели в палец толщиной, стеклянная дверь на балкон такая же, при закрытом окне слышно все что на улице. Когда резко открываешь входную дверь, дверь на балкон ходит ходуном и гремит как будто сейчас упадёт. Постельное белье было с пятнами, волосами прошлых постояльцев Тапочки отельные бывшие в употреблении, но подобное мы встретили и в другом отеле. СПА зона - одно название два туалета, комнатка 2х2 и кровать для массажа. Неразумная планировка номера, не нужный коридор есть за входной дверью, при этом шкафа для вещей нормального нет. Оценка отеля конечно не 1/10, но дабы подправить немного в объективную сторону общую оценку, поставили по многим пунктам такое. Из плюсов: персонал старался нам помочь и был вежлив и приятен, но реально помочь он нам не мог, так как этот отель требует реновации номеров в части дверей, окон, покраски итд. Бассейн действительно классный и вид тоже хорош, но по факту при полном отеле там максимум несколько человек отдыхает. На острове каждый день хочется кататься по пляжам и исследовать. Вы там проведёте максимум один вечер. Доступны к аренде новые скутеры и приемлемый по цене трансфер из/в отель

Bitter Sweet...

The place was quiet, and the scenes were scenic. The pool was amazing for viewing the sunset at the end of the day. Loved the layouts of the room, and the shower layout was impressive.

It felt like we were being charged to breathe at some points during our stay. I am not sure if that's Koh Phangan in general, but it was super frustrating. The mini bar said "complimentary" drinks for our stay, but yet we were charged for the beers and there was no negotiation. The food from the restaurant was either received cold and took too long. Having the À La Carte menu was super confusing and annoying as the times are specified. You have to wait until the buffet menu finishes for breakfast before you can order (which is around 10.30/11 am from memory).

The bartender made amazing cocktails and the pool was exquisite! Breakfast and coffee were in fact incredible. The natural lighting ensured a relaxed and soothing atmosphere throughout our stay.

While the balconies offer terrific view of the jungle, it feels like all balconies have some form of view over your room.

The location is excellent. halfway between the north and the south. The hotel staff in general, including Chris, Ball, nati and Mama, are kind, nice and willing to help with any question. The view is stunning! The rooms are spacious with good facilities. The pool is perfect.

Great quality for the price, Minimalist design.

The room is very design, very cute, loved the view from the pool. We had a great stay in the Hotel.

Far to walk to the sea, better you have a scooter or car rental to access the hotel.

Loved the food and location but think twice if you are older than in your 20’s!!!!

The location was great; from the floor where you had breakfast the view was breathtaking. The breakfast was very good. A member of staff that they called Mama was extremely good and made us different things for breakfast that were local and not on the breakfast menu which was great.The 2 make members of staff that waited in the bar and restaurant area were very good; always welcomed us with smile. The bed was comfortable and as I said the view was amazing whatever level you were on.

Where do I start. The hotel was never finished as a receptionist told us after I had a fall down a flight of steps when it had been raining. We reported it ; they said they were sorry but they didn’t have enough man power for the cleaners to go around mopping up. As soon as there was any water on any of the floors anywhere in the hotel it became an ice rink. This particular day when I fell it had been raining so I was wearing my jeans otherwise other than having bad bruising on my left left leg and bruising on my side ; it could have been far worse if I were wearing shorts because I would have taken a layer of skin off !!! The island has become a drug island as so many of them have ; this is not your fault but perhaps you could do something about youngsters running down corridors and banging doors at ridiculous times of the morning. Temperature of water in shower one could never get right and there needed to be more storage and hanging space; we were there for 7 days- the rooms needed to be more comfortable. My husband has been coming to the island for 30 years as we have friends on the island but the way it’s becoming with too many motor bikes; the youngsters coming for the drugs we shall think twice next time where on the island we should go. The island was a family island ; it always had the full moon party but now it any excuse to have a party down there because they now name it as the drug full moon party!!! We were all young once and we have grown up children but the islands are putting the 50 plus off and it’s our age groups that don’t mind spending the money when we go away!!!

amazing pool!

Beautiful pool, super comfy bed, staff were lovely (Cherry was great!)

Room was a little smaller than expected (I would not call it a suite) and had a little difficulty getting hot water at one point, but staff were very helpful and came to sort as soon as I mentioned.

beautiful property, the room and view were beautiful and super comfortable especially the bed! very very friendly staff (big shout out and huge thank you to chris and cherry) food and drinks were good. close to thong sala

we were given a room near the breezeway from the restaurant down on the 2nd floor, and there was so much banging and moving things around in the early morning which woke us up grumpy. in a peaceful location like this you want to wake up to birds chirping not plates and chairs banging. also, a major downside was the amount of sunbeds at the pool, we were never able to get one because there were only 8. we sat on the floor which was very uncomfortable as we were coming for a relaxing stay. there is alot of space to add many extra sunbeds and i hope this is taken into consideration because the view from the pool and roof top is breathtaking and paying customers should be able to sit and relax on sunbeds.
