Wonderful small oasis with excellent location

Wonderful small oasis in the middle of everything within walking distance to the old city. Wonderful staff. Nice room. Love the traditional style!

Couldn’t have asked for more. What a stunning stay in yaang come village!

Stunning property close to old town. Lovely breakfast and staff were very polite. The pool was refreshing and an idyllic way to escape the heat. Rooms large and comfortable.

Noise from bars out the front was a bit annoying and hot water was intermittent.

Good hotel when you wanna be in close proximity to night market.

The hotel is a wonderful green oasis in the middle of the city because of the lush garden. The architecture of the place is beautiful as well. We also really liked the pool. There are plenty of little cafes and restaurants in close proximity as well as the nightmarket.

The hotel has seen better days: everything is quite old and doesn’t meet contemporary standards of a high-quality hotel. Our room was dark and smelly from the old textiles and furniture. The staff is kind but not very helpful.

Very large and comfortable rooms, and we got connected rooms with the childrens it was great. Every room has a bath and shower. There's a nice pool and nice breakfast, very nice staff

really good hotel with amazing location. silent, very comfortable. good swimming pool, impressive and pleasant territory. chilly and cozy. big rooms with good furniture, big table for work available, bathroom is good and everything working well. breakfast is simple but not bad. I’m sure is real 4+ stars hotel.

great ambience and location

very nice spacious rooms, great location, nice architecture of the place, green lush in concrete city

swimming pool was unusable as the water was super cold, hot water in the shower was not working and had to be fixed twice in 4 days, redtaurant was not working and the staff cleaned breakfast already at 9:55 regrdless if people were in the dining room still eating

it used to be good years ago but now it’s run down and sad

we stayed at Yaang come village 5 years ago and always thought of it fondly. so when we returned to Chiang Mai we wanted to stay there again. unfortunately this place is nothing like it used to be. we booked two rooms and both showers were dirty with hairs of the previous people. the shower curtains are all mouldy .one room smelled of sewage so bad that it made us feel sick. we asked for 2 days if we can have a different room but the staff didn’t care at all. at some stage we were looking at different hotels to stay as we had 3 further nights at Yaang Come. both of our rooms were on the ground floor with barely any natural light. the family rooms must be on top because from 6am all you could hear was screaming running kids. the rooms were also flooded with mosquitoes, there were no mosquito coils or nets or anything to protect yourself at night. the hotel also failed to mention that the restaurant is only open to 4pm. what once was an amazing breakfast is now just a sad selection of tasteless food. on our first stay the rooms had fresh fruit and a welcome drink , now you only get an empty plate and cutlery in your room (why the plate?) the hotel used to be sprayed for mosquitoes every day on our first stay. we were there for 5days and it has not been sprayed once. this once amazing hotel is now absolutely run down with a lack of care but still charges the same price. I assume it’s a new management. I hope they take time to read the bad reviews and improve .

The hotel overall is nice, good location close to the night Market.

I had the most surreal experience of being accused of stealing a bathrobe from the hotel (they gave us 2 bath robes from the very beginning , but assumed there were 3, one for my daughter). The staff was rude and disrespectful about it, assuming the worst about their client. Honestly, it was the worst experience in a hotel so far.

relaxing stay!!

everything was perfect! the bedroom very comfortable, big and clean. the pool very relaxing and the breakfast very tasty (the fruit really good). excellent service and personnel! highly recommended. I will come back for sure!

great value for money, wonderful place

cozy wonderful place, full of green plants, authentic, very different, for the better, from the big cement hotels. great location- only 5 minutes from the night market. great value for money. we had wonderful stay at the hotel.

good location close to night bazzar & food market by foot, nice breakfast, helpful stuff in the front desk.

LOT of problems with hot water in the rooms (work... no work), they sent us 5 time technician to fix the hot water with no big success, and because we have 3 room we survive this... if there was no problem with hot water i will rate 9

The whole philosophy of the hotel shines through to create a very special experience.

Beautiful oasis of elegant calm. All the staff create an atmosphere of graceful welcome with reception staff dressed in traditional Thai clothing. The rustic teak buildings are elegant and stylish furnished in heavy teak furniture. The pool is clean and set in a lush jungle landscape. The nicest place I’ve ever stayed. Excellent choice of fresh dishes for breakfast. Excellent communication on email before arrival. Staff booked elephant and cookery experiences for us.
