2005 Forest River Wildwood

The slide-out on the trailer provides windows on all sides, making the trailer very bright, and it expands the interior, making the inside feel and look VERY spacious. Remember though, when you park in your camping spot, make sure you are far away from any trees or posts, as the slide-out comes out pretty far, so you don't want to damage it up against a tree!
When you are ready to tow the trailer, review your check list: 1. make sure the brake lights and turn signals at the back are working. If they aren't, you probably just didn't plug the cord all the way into your towing vehicle. 2. make sure the slide-out has been brought in all the way and all the windows are closed. 3. the front door should be double locked to make sure it doesn't come open during transportation. 4. check that the roof hatch in the bathroom is down (also it should be closed during a rain storm). 5.make sure all the storage compartment doors on the outside are latched and locked. 6. When you pull out of your camping spot, check that nothing was left behind or left under the trailer. 7. the electrical cord should be gently pushed back into its recessed hole above the spare tire. 8. Make sure the propane tanks have been turned off. 9. Inside the trailer, tie the kitchen cupboard doors closed with the ribbon provided, (where the plates and glasses are stored). They have been known to pop open from the vibration of driving down the highway. Make sure all other objects inside the trailer are secure or at ground level so they don't fall during transportation. 10. Empty the black/gray water at the trailer dumping station.
This Wildwood trailer looks fresh and nice with bright and appealing colours of white with blue. There are lots of windows and a patio blind for either sunny or drizzly days. It looks nice in any campground. Almost looks like it was just driven off the dealership lot!
Love the ocean colours of blue, and the hardwood look of the flooring. Lots of storage space. This sofa easily flips out to be a bed for sleeping or watching movies at night. Some blue carpeting by the sofa is comfortable on your feet.
A nice, roomy eating area surrounded by windows. Always bright and cheerful.

About this towable trailer rental

Located in Winnipeg, this lovely towable trailer for $96 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Our trailer has been lovingly cared for. Therefore, we prefer families camping in credited campgrounds. Party groups, concert goers and off-roading in fields etc aren’t a good match for this trailer. A great unit for hitting the campground! This unit has never been smoked in and is in excellent condition. It is pre-packed with all the necessities for your trip. so no need to bring anything but your own food, snacks, and sleeping linens/pillows, and bath & kitchen towels. We recommend a maximum of 5 for a comfortable experience. The front master bedroom has a queen size bed (sleeps 2), a fold out couch (sleeps 1) and rear bunk beds (sleeps 2). There is a handy step ladder for the upper bunk. The slide-out extends the floor space to nearly double when extended (electric opening with the touch of a switch!) and the huge exterior awning means that rainy days won't ruin your vacation. A hand rail and three stairs are at the entrance to the trailer, and they work great. The bathroom includes a mini tub with shower head. This is great for a quick rinse-off, washing feet or small children. Keep in mind that unless you are in a full-service camping spot, you only have as much water as what was put in the holding tank, and a small amount of hot water from that tank. So we recommend you take advantage of the showers offered in most camp grounds for full bathing and hair washing. You will require a vehicle capable of towing at least 8,000 lbs weight (GVWR 7,680 lbs) with an electric brake control system. For example, the minimum of the equivalent of a half ton truck. An equalizer hitch and sway bar will be provided for your use. Annual maintenance has been done at Transcona Trailer Sales and Classic Trailer Sales.
