Luxury Mercedes Airstream Interstate

About this drivable vehiclerental

Nestled in Beverly Hills, this charming drivable vehicle for $250 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Go Glamping! The perfect getaway car, an easy to drive luxurious ride combines the performance of Mercedes Benz with the camping innovations of Airstream. Easy to drive you’ll feel safe, confident, and in control with side-view cameras, parking assist, collision prevention, lane keeping assist, all with surprisingly good fuel economy – typically in the upper teens, low 20s. A luxury trip awaits your passengers - cold drinks from the refrigerator while watching a Blu-ray DVD on one of the two flat-screen TVs. Enjoy plush ultra-leather chairs, galley kitchen equipped with propane burners, convection microwave, refrigerator, and sink. Sleeps two people on a king-size bed with memory foam when lounge in back converts to a bed with the push of a button. You’ll also enjoy a full bathroom with shower, or shower in the great outdoors with the external shower hookup, great for hosing off kids & dogs! Outside handy fuel lines to connect a propane grill, electrical outlets for entertainment accessories, and LED patio accent lights. Great for day trips or anything longer, I traveled across the country in it this summer and camped in it almost it every night, loving every second of it. The Interstate goes lots of places that a larger RV or travel trailer couldn’t begin to navigate, bringing you to the center of the action, whether that’s downtown or a beachfront parking spot, with all the comforts of home. Driving and Sleeping: There are seats for 8 in the van, 3 captains chairs, and 5 bench seats in the lounge area, with seat belts. While the specs for the van technically says it sleeps 4, and it can, but you have to be creative, as there is just the one king sized bed in back for sleeping, and not a lot of floor space for sleeping bags. If you are on a long trip with more than 2 or 3 people, you may want to consider a larger unit if you are going to sleep in it every night. Rules: Please do not smoke in the van! If there is a smell of smoke in the van when you return you may be charged a cleaning fee of $300-$500. Pets allowed with previously written permission only. Undisclosed pets may result in a cleaning fee of $100 - $400. If you would like to bring your furry friend let me know in advance. Mileage: 100 free miles per day. If you book a week an additional 50 miles is offered, so you can roam for 750 miles, no extra fees. If your trip takes you farther than the allotted mileage, you can purchase miles for 35 cents per mile. Generator: The generator fee is $3.50 per hour and will be collected upon return of the rental. Cleaning fee: Customer agrees that he will return unit in the same condition as he received it (excluding normal wear). A fee of up to $250 will be charged if the interior of the vehicle has not been cleaned. Damages or loss of equipment will be paid for by the renter. AWNING: Because an electric awning stuck in the out position, or flying out when it’s supposed to be in, can ruin a camping vacation faster than anything, the awning on my AI has been disabled. Sun shade umbrellas for the camp chairs are provided in lieu of. NOTE ON AC and SUMMER TRAVEL: Both the cabin AC, and the new as of Oct. 2019 15,000 BTU rooftop AC, are well maintained and run at peak efficiency. To run the rooftop AC the van’s generator must be running, or you need to be plugged into a 30 AMP shore power hookup at a campground. It is a black van, and with both systems running, in the summer, in hot desert environments, driving in the daytime the two may only be capable of bringing the inside temp down by 20-25 degrees. PLEASE consider this if you plan to travel in high heat areas. You may want to plan to travel later in the day, or just be prepared to be a bit warmer than you might be in your car, or a nice hotel. Pets are never allowed unattended in the RV.
