Situated in Marina del Rey, this charming drivable vehicle for $220 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Perfect solution for a first timer who doesn’t want the challenge of a larger RV but desires all the comforts. Great for 1 or 2 people. The Hymer Van is designed to be the most budget friendly vehicle on our fleet, and still provide all the necessary essentials. It’s a great option for someone who wants to drive a vehicle that’s as close to a passenger car as an RV gets. Easy to drive, easy to park. The van is 19.7 feet long and can be legally parked on almost all streets. This RV has a great floorplan utilizing the space very effectively! Two twin beds which serve as couches during the day, convert into a comfortable king-sized bed at night! This tiny apartment on wheels also has a kitchen equipped with a two burner stove, microwave, fridge and even a little freezer. There’s enough countertop space to prep a full meal and per usual, we provide the essential cooking supplies to make your life easier. Usually vans don’t have bathrooms or showers, but this one does! It even has a separate hand washing sink. For climate control, the van has a heater and an AC. (For extreme weather camping, you should have an electric hook up at your campsite. Ask us if you don’t know what that means). For power, this RV has solar panels, two lithium batteries which get recharged with the under the hood generator, and of course it has a connection for shore power. (30 amps, 50 amps or 120V). The front passenger seat swivels to create additional seating in the RV and all the windows have privacy shades. In terms of storage, there is a little closet to hang clothes, pull out drawers, cabinets along the ceiling and the passenger side bed lifts up creating ample room underneath. If you need additional storage, we rent a storage basket which attaches to the rear hitch. Of course there is a back-up camera making it super easy to park. Other things that make this RV easy to operate are the instructional videos that come on the in-unit iPad. The videos demonstrate how to operate everything in the RV, from emptying the waste tanks to setting up the bed. This vehicle runs on unleaded gasoline. Note* this van does not have an awning.
