Bien

Notre villa était très belle. On se sentait bien à l'intérieur. Le lit était confortable, la déco agréable avec ces grandes baies vitrées. On a pu profiter à fond du room service pour commencer petit déjeuner, déjeuner et dîner. La nourriture était bonne surtout si on prend des plats balinais.

Pour des raisons de problèmes techniques du côté de l'hôtel, nous n'avons pas pu avoir la villa que j'avais réservée sur Booking, on a donc eu une autre villa avec piscine privée. J'avais un peu déçu de ne pas avoir ce que j'avais réservé car je voulais la salle de bain à ciel couvert avec la baignoire en pierre. Un autre point négatif c'est que l'eau de la piscine a tourné et on a pas pu profiter de la piscine tout au long de notre séjour..

A beautiful, remote, and relaxing stay in the jungle of Bali

The property is stunning - very lush with a lovely, big pool. The food was always fresh and yummy, never had to wait long. The family that owns and runs the villas are so friendly. They are very accommodating when it comes to rides into town, booking tours with guides, and always willing to answer any question you have. They do have motorbike rental on site but we did not feel comfortable - the traffic in Bali is insane and the roads are pretty sketchy, especially as you get into the jungle where the villas are located. The way they light the grounds at night is dreamy. If you are looking for a remote getaway this is a great option and at least in the low season, worth the price.

We stayed in Villa 2 and it could use some upkeep. Most light bulbs in the living area, the closest, and the bathroom are out. There are several stains on the sheets. You are in the jungle so you know you are going to be dealing with bugs, lizards, etc, but there was a Tokay Gecko that lived in our ceiling and would wake us up several times during the night and would poop on the furniture and rug every day. There were also two active hornet nests and those things are massive! A bat got into our room one evening because the bathrooms are open-air. We were able to get it out eventually. Govinda is out there - you are 45 mins from Ubud, so when you are at the Villas, you have to eat there. While the food is very good, if you are there for more than a few days you will be eating the same thing more than once. Also, I am not sure why, but they only provide you with one bottle of drinking water that we needed to get refilled 3-4 times a day - it would have been easier for everyone to just give us another bottle...This was not a huge deal for us but cleaning is really just sweeping the floor, tucking in the sheets, and maybe emptying the trash can. Also, one day after our room was cleaned my charging cord was missing. We asked about it and were told they would look into it but it was never acknowledged again. Upon check out, I asked to use a card for our final bill but was told they machine was broken - no warning. What if I did not have enough cash? We are in the middle of nowhere, not like I can pop out to the ATM.

Lovely and secluded villa for a relaxing time.

The staff here are very friendly. The location is stunning and provides a quiet stay. The massage therapist was also great. I enjoyed my time here and would love to come back.

Nice place but need a professional manager

The size of the bungalow The price of the food is very cheap but unfortunately many things on their menu were not available.

Many things... In general, this place is really nice but need to be managed by a professional company or a good manager. Many things to fix a bit everywhere Only 2 sunbed for 3 bungalows (6 persons), so only 2 persons can chill out near the pool The small TV room (Living room is really depressing)

Superb

This place was a complete sanctuary, so quiet and fully immersed in nature- this is an excellent place to completely relax and recharge. The staff were excellent, nothing was too much to ask and they were all incredibly friendly.

The bed was a little hard for my preference, but still managed to sleep fine.

Tranquillity Villa

Everything was amazing, the view, the pool, the bath up, the bed, it was incredible, i will coming back for sure, true Balinese smile and hospitality.

The property located in the very back of the owner house property, its not very easy to get in and out without passing the owner house, for me, i think its a hasle, and Pig farm near by has a very pungent smells, drifted by winds, into private pool area, Thank God its not going further in to the Villa room. Dispite those 2, everything was amazing, ill be back.

The perfect honeymoon trip in bali. Thank you to sendi and his family for accommodating us!

We stayed in this private villa with pool for our honeymoon. From arrival to the day we left, it was absolutely perfect. Sendi and his family were so helpful with showing us around the property, to helping take luggage and even giving us ironing board daily. The room and pool is very private, no one has acres to it expect you and is away from the other rooms. It has an outdoor shower which is stunning with a bath. Hot water and beautiful decor. The room is stunning and ground even more beautiful. It’s located in a small village outside bali, about 40-1hr to get to main bali but you can hire taxis. The locals are super friendly and their is an elephant sanctuary about 10min drive from the place. The views from the pool to the outdoor greenery is lovely and relaxing, you get a good feel of the real side of bali and away from the main city rush.

The villa is located in a small village, far away from Tegallalang, so you'll need a scooter or car.

Great Villa

Everything was great. Govinda Villas is an excellent place to rest and stay. You can easily explore Taro Village and enjoy the calm. The staff was always ready to help and friendly. We enjoyed our stay and recommend.

Luxurious stay

Delicious breakfast, and we did floating breakfast in the pool. It was amazing. Room was so clean, and they also serve lunch and dinner. Pool is big. And we really love the bathroom with open spcae bathtub.
