Great villa for big family vacation

Very well established and maintained facilities. Bigger family fits perfectly. Great pool and jacuzzi. Private spacious parking.

Might look a bit far away from Acharavi. Car rent helps.

beautiful villa,excellent host.

we have just finished our holiday here, the villa was absolutely perfect. the pool and hot tub were fantastic and well maintained throughout our holiday by mr spiros. the kitchen was well equipped so we were able to have a few meals in. the outside areas were beautiful as were the views. the cleaning lady came twice during our holiday and changed the bedding and towels as well as mopping all the floors and cleaning the bathrooms. fantastic communication from the host who even let us check in early due to our early flight. we are a family of 8 and the set up of the villa was perfect, plenty of room so we weren’t all on top of each other with 3 separate living area and two kitchens. all in all a fantastic holiday! thank you

would recommend hiring a car so you can make the most of seeing the island. we came slightly early for the season so the nearest tavernas were closed but it wasn’t a problem as we had our cars.

Beautiful villa on the hills above Almyros Beach

The villa is lovely, spacious, has well equipped kitchens for cooking. Wonderful BBQ area for cooking and eating. Incredible pool with sun loungers. Lovely garden with a huge variety of lovely plants and trees. The beds are comfy and there is aircon if needed. Location: 3 or 4 tavernas within walking distance, although the closest (Mythos) is by far the best, we went there 3 times in 9 nights. 20 minutes drive to the beautiful rocky beaches of kassiope where you can snorkel and see fishes, and a 8 minute drive to the Agios Spiridon beach for calm waters and sun bathing. The closest beach -almyros- is sandy, but very unprotected and choppy on a windy day. Shops are mostly all in Acharavi which is a few mins drive or a 40 minute walk on a main road.

The location is great, but slightly further away from the beach and town than we'd like. It wasn't a problem, and we did think this before going. But I would advise to have hire cars or book a mini bus in advance, as taxis for big groups aren't always easy. There is a nice small shop and an amazing taverna (Mythos) just at the end of the driveway, and the closest beach is about 20 minutes walk, so if you don't fancy too much exploring then these are enough! The mosquitoes were pretty bad while we were there, we all got bitten a lot despite using repellant, citronella candles and mosquito screens. During the day the wasps and hornets were really full-on too, but I guess this is unavoidable! There was also a lot of other cute wildlife like praying mantises, bats, butterflies and a sweet grey kitty.

Excellent holiday , children and adults alike loved the pool . There were a few local taverners which were very reasonab

spacious property , 3 families were able to fit in without being on top of each other , big swimming pool , lovely gardens .

The property was excellent but I would strongly recommend hiring a car as big supermarkets are quite a walk especially in that heat .

Amazing !

Everything - great views, pool, barbecue, 3 fridges... The hosts are super nice. For me as a cooking enthusiast, the outside terrace was amazing

Amazing villa for a group of friends or families

The villa had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The pool area was so lovely to chill around. It has plenty of shade with three large umbrellas. There were also two lilos and a floating donut for us to use. It is so well equipped from cutlery, towels, Nespresso machines. There are two kitchens between the two apartments and a BBQ area which we made use of. There is a small shop at the bottom of the hill which was great for getting ice creams, cereals and some alcohol. The check in/check out process couldn't have been easier as well. I would 100% recommend anyone to come to this villa as it really made our holiday.

The location was a little remote and taxis are a hard to come by.

Perfect for our family. Hosts couldnt of been more helpful espeacially after we locked ourselves out

Both were very good - location sometimes nicer to be nearer a Taverner etc but it certainly wasnt a problem

Our choice to go this time of year and the evenings and some days were very chilly so there should of been some way of keeping warm in the communal areas but again we could of asked.

Exceptional

Probably the best location in Corfu. The garden and the swimming pool area are absolutely fabulous with spectacular sea and mountain views. Very good beaches and taverns just 5 minutes away.

Everything was perfect. We had such a great week at Villa Mare e Monti, great view, nice pool and good communication with the owner.

Every bathroom had one toillet paper roll (we booked the villa for one week) and we had to buy toillet paper after that. It was not a problem, but it would have been nice to know that in first place.

Exceeded expectations- a peaceful stay in beautiful surroundings

The property and the hosts were outstanding- my friends and I had a fantastic stay in beautiful, peaceful surroundings and the apartments far exceeded our expectations. Katerina was a lovely friendly host and helped us out with transfers and any information we might need. Would highly recommend!

Lovely family destination we went with three generations and all had a good time

Katerina was very helpful from the onset and continued all the way through answering any query very quickly. The villa was very well appointed and the welcome gift a very nice touch. The local beaches were lovely and in walking distance unfortunately going slightly out of season the local restaurants were starting to close we managed to catch one on the last evening they were open but the restaurants in the local town were excellent. Also being out of season the swimming pool was a bit too cold for us to use.
