Located in Thera, this charming villa for $692 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Villa DALI Danae is situated in an exclusive and quiet neighborhood along the traditional caldera path between Fira (Thira) and Firostefani, overlooking the worldfamous Volcano and facing the spectacular Caldera view from the front patio, Fira sideways and the eastern part of Santorini and even the island of Anafi from the back patio. It is located in the most unspoiled part of the old town and perfect to enjoy and relax at the outdoor terrace and the front and back patio of the house. Villa DALI (licensed by the Greek Organization of Tourism since April 2015) was renovated from an old Theran villa in 2015 and again in 2023. Villa DALI, once our family home, has been transformed into two exquisite villas: Villa DALI Leda on the first floor and Villa DALI Danae below. Each villa boasts a private entrance and can be rented individually. Yet, large families and groups of friends can rent both villas, providing a perfect setting to enjoy the beauty of Santorini together! To see Villa DALI Leda please search it by its name under the same host. This spacious house provides the unique occasion to live in a private property that combines comfort and privacy. The 85 sq m high-ceiling house consists of three bedrooms (the first two with queen size bed and the third one with double bed), two bathrooms with shower made out of off-white polished cement, a living/dining-room, a fully equipped kitchen with modern facilities and a hall. Since June 2023 there is also a large heated jacuzzi (hot tub) at the back yard, suitable for 5-6 persons. Contemporary aquarelle and oil paintings decorate the walls of all rooms of the villa. All three bedrooms are equipped with ecological mattresses and are ventilated with Westinghouse 4-speed ceiling fans for ecological reasons. All three bedrooms are also equipped with Carrier Air Conditioner (cool / heat) system of latest technology. The inner temperature in all places of the property is comfortable. The comfortable living/dining room has one cozy sofa, which can easily be opened in a double bed accommodating two more persons. Thus, Villa DALI Danae is perfectly suitable for families or a group of friends up to six people plus two extra people, if needed. There is free Fiberspeed 200Mbps Wi-Fi access to all areas of the villa. There is also a daily free housekeeping service. Linens and bath towels are included in the house and are changed every three days (their laundry and ironing is provided at no cost for you). With more than 100 sq m. outdoor front yard and back yard the villa offers the opportunity of outdoor living and outdoor dining. The villa has an inside dining room, but it also offers the opportunity of outdoor dining for up to 8 persons. It has spacious outdoor areas and two big (2.5 meters each) parasols at the front and back patio. So, one can easily lie and enjoy outdoors the whole day long, since the property provides a variety of outdoor possibilities for every time of day and night. It is crucial to point out that there is an easy entrance to the Villa (the car reaches 10-15 meters from its entrance) with no endless footpaths, uphill and hard to navigate stairs to reach your accommodation. There is a big free parking place 2 minutes walking distance from the house. The Villa is located very close to Nomikos Conference Center, St. John Catholic Cathedral, St. Stylianos Church and the Cable Car entrance, while it is at a walking distance (5 – 6 minutes) from the center of Fira (the capital of Santorini) and all the mini markets, cafes, restaurants, bars and night clubs. There is a convenient public transportation from the central square of Fira serving all places of the island. The airport and the port are about 6-8 km away from the property (15-20 min by car/taxi). A special minivan transfer service from/to the airport/port could be arranged. Early check-in and late check-out (upon availability). Safety Checklist: Fire Extinguisher, Smoke Detector, Carbon Monoxide Detector, First Aid Kit, Safety Card. The guests have their local host available any time to offer help and tips or if they may need something. He is there to welcome them at the check-in and also at the check-out and at their disposal during their stay at the villa. The guests can use all indoors and outdoors spaces of the villa, which are at their sole disposal during their stay.

My husband and I booked Villa Dali for our dream trip to Santorini. We were joined by my daughter and son in law, and granddaughter. Villa Dali was a fabulous villa, three very nice bedrooms, two baths, a full kitchen, and living area within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. The front and back terraces both have fantastic water and city views. We spent most of our evenings before dinner on the back terrace enjoying a glass of wine and jacuzzi. There were even fireworks two evenings to enhance the night scenery. Maria and Nikos are fantastic hosts. Maria arranged our transport to and from the airport, Nikos met my daughter and son in law at the villa, explained everything about its operation. Nikos even brought my husband's backpack to the airport when he left it behind. I can't say enough about their hospitality and attention to detail. We would definitely return and can not thank them enough for providing a lovely villa for a wonderful holiday!

Everything about Villa Dali was fantastic! Great location with incredible views that you can enjoy from several vantage points on the large spacious outdoor terraces.
Everything was so clean and well appointed. Comfortable beds, great a/c in each bedroom.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful accommodation in Santorini. From the moment I arrived. The apartment was clean with modern amenities. The staff's warm hospitality made me feel right at home, and they were always ready to assist with any request. One of the highlights was the private terrace, where I enjoyed stunning sunsets while sipping on local wine. The central location allowed easy exploration. Overall, my stay was an unforgettable experience, and I can't wait to return to this slice of paradise.

As a family of 5 we frequently book apartments or villas when we travel. Sometimes the pictures are not a great representation of what to expect. Upon arrival I would say that the pictures of Villa Dali did not do it justice. The views were spectacular, the bedrooms spacious. The location was perfect for us. We literally watched the sunset one night while drinking wine on the front porch (While hundreds of people were lined up on the sidewalks to watch and take pictures). Another pleasant surprise was the level of service we received from Nikos. He arranged the transfer from the airport, was there to meet us when we first arrived. Anytime we had a local question I would text him and hear back in minutes. This included where to catch a cheaper boat tour, getting a transfer to a restaurant out of town. It was like having a personal concierge. We had a wonderful stay at Villa Dali! Thank you Maria and Nikos. I would not hesitate to book with you again!

Maria and Nikos could not have been more gracious and helpful! They provided everything including help with transportation from the airport, and to the ferry, to restaurant recommendations, to help securing a sunset cruise, as well as help with a rental car. The home is in a PERFECT location. So close to everything, but not crowded or loud. Beautiful view from all sides. The plunge pool is perfect to watch the sunrise or cool down after a big day exploring Santorini. Honestly, this was the absolute best experience! We wish all hosts were like Maria and Nikos! We will be back.

We were greeted by the property manager, Nikos, at arrival. He explained the property and location as well as gave us a run down on all recommended sights on a map. The property is a very short walk from Fira but far enough to avoid most of the noise. It is a very comfortable house with great views and a lovely hot tub. Highly recommend it. Maria was always quick to respond to our emails. Nikos was very helpful from the day we arrived until the day we departed. Our family had a grand time at the villa! We walked to shops & restaurants & church. Fantastic view of the volcano from the front. The villa is surrounded with fantastic views. Sunrise from the back deck and sunset from the front porch. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings after our busy days are over.

Super easy to walk to any hotel overlooking the caldera with an amazing sunset view. Lots of foot traffic going by outfront but we loved that! Not too crowded, just out-of-the-way enough.
Maria- Sofia was super easy to get a hold of and communicated with us at every turn. She arranged our shuttle service from the airport, any housekeeping needs, activities on the island, you name it.

My family and recently I stayed at Villa Dali for 4 nights. The location of the Villa was perfect with stunning views of the volcano and sunsets from the front yard, and beautiful sunrises from the back. It is far enough from the crowds in Fira yet steps away from town, shops and restaurants, car rental and easy free parking. The Villa was spacious and very comfortable for our family of 5. Maria and Nikos are exceptional hosts making our stay the best it could be. Maria was so responsive answering my many questions from the moment we booked and throughout our stay. She helped with transfers, restaurant, car rental and cruise reservations. Each day she reminded us of what we had booked th following day. She made great suggestions giving us ideas of what to do and see in Santorini. Nikos, who met us on the ground for check in and check out was kind and helpful, quickly answering any questions or concerns we had during the stay. When our ferry was delayed and we arrived late at night both Maria and Nikos were so helpful tracking ferries, responding to an ongoing delay and insuring the driver will be at the port when we arrive as well as Nikos welcoming us at the Villa at 11:30 pm. This gave us so much peace of mind during a stressful day and we are very grateful to both of them. Our only regret is we did not have more time to enjoy the beautiful Villa and stunning Santorini.

This cottage is in a perfect location with spectacular rooftop panoramic views of Fira. Our host, Maria also arranged our vehicle rental as well as a spectacular catamaran day trip. She is amazing and so is Mikos.

Fantastic location with the most helpful hosts
All of Maria's communications were timely, patient, and super helpful. She and Nikos were incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable! We especially are grateful for all their suggestions and advice on getting around Santorini and for their assistance in arranging transportation for us from the port to Vila Dali, obtaining and parking a rental car, and early morning check out and ride to the airport. Similarly, Nikos was terrific in familiarizing us with the house, how to work everything, and was so friendly and helpful. His recommendation of the Pyrgos Restaurant was fantastic; one of the best meals we had on our entire trip. From a personal service standpoint, our experience with Maria, Nikos, and anyone they connected us with was outstanding.
The location of the Villa is terrific. We loved the views and felt that the photos and information provided were accurate.
All the many outside spaces of the villa were great. There are many options for sitting outside and enjoying the amazing views: front terrace, back terrace and rooftop. Finally, the remote-controlled air conditioning units came in handy and were much appreciated.

Love Santorini
This villa is everything and more!! We were a group of six and this villa was perfect! We enjoyed three nights here and would have stayed longer if home wasn't calling. Maria was the perfect host, and her local contact was the best. The view from this amazing villa cannot be beat!! Sunsets were just as good or better than in Oia! I cannot recommend this villa more!! I would give it 10 stars if I could!! Thanks again hope to be back soon!!

Beautiful Villa & perfect location
We loved our stay at Villa Dali! Communication with Maria was great ahead of the trip-- she assisted with transport from the airport and car rental, which was just down the block. Stamos greeted us when we arrived and was very helpful. The location was great-- lots of restaurants and shops near by. The apartment was very clean and spacious for 4 adults. A cleaning woman came each day, when it was convenient for our schedule. We enjoyed using the front and back patio areas. Definitely recommend!

Santorini Paradise
There were 6 of us and this place was perfect. The house was clean and comfortable. The manager met us at the property and was there when we arrived. The location was wonderful. We could walk to shopping and restaurants. We also liked the walk along the caldera and the views were incredible.

Great View
We really enjoyed the Villa Dali property! It is conveniently located a short walk to everything. Great caldera view from the rooftop patio and also a view of the sea on the east to watch the sun rise on the back patio. The owner was great, very accommodating and organized a rental car for us just steps from the villa.

Beautiful villa in a wonderful location
Stayed here for my daughters wedding and it was perfect!! The views and location are great. Bedrooms are comfortable and a good size, living area small but comfortable and pleasant. Kitchen the same. Outside areas are what makes the house.
The host Maria couldn’t have been more helpful.
Access to a washing machine would have been nice, we were on the island for a while so this became a bit of a ‘thing’.

Best villa location in Santorini
Staying at Villa DALI was a wonderful vacation experience. The villa was perfectly located near restaurants, entertainment, shopping and island transportation. The view and outdoor areas overlooking the water and caldera were beautiful. We had an amazing stay at Villa Dali. It was the highlight of our trip. Everything was spot on, exactly as described and even exceeded expectations. The views are just spectacular, the villa is situated in a perfect spot with unobstructed views that people were stopping next to it often to enjoy the views and take photos. There are two spacious terraces, one in the front and a backyard as well as a cute rooftop. The only one downside is the lack of Air Conditioning. There are ceiling fans in each bedroom as well as three other standing fans which we brought into the bedrooms at night. So that did help but still an AC would've been nice! That's the only one negative point. Maria was super organized to the last detail. She communicated with us ahead of time before our trip to get everything arranged and sorted out for our stay. She sent us ahead of time a pdf file containing all the useful information we would need in Santorini, including instructions for using the villa and suggestions of activities and places to visit. It even had English-Greek translations of handy phrases. She gave us the options of port pick-up and drop-off to and from the Villa, which we took and was very convenient and for a reasonable price. And car rental options, which we took for 1 day to drive around the island and explore. The options we chose were booked and arranged for us so everything was pre-planned and smooth. Heavenly!
My husband and I spent 5 nights Villa Dali and it was absolutely perfect. Our favorite part was spending the evening on the back porch, overlooking Fira and the stunning view. The house was perfectly furnished - had everything that we needed. The bed was super comfortable and the bathrooms were lovely. As noted, there is no a/c but we didn't miss it at all. Maria and Stamos were super helpful with our car rental, transportation from the airport and orienting us to the house. Nicolet did a wonderful job in keeping the place neat & tidy for us. We loved every second at Villa Dali - it is beautiful, quiet and the perfect place for a restorative holiday. The location was great - we could easily walk into Fira and did the hike to Oia as well. We hope to return one day soon!!!

Great house in a great location in Santorini
We stayed at Villa Dali for four days in June. This was the perfect set up for parents + 4 adult daughters to have a family get away. The location is perfect - close to town (Fira and Firastefani) and shops and restaurants without having to deal with the noise of other locations. Maria and Stamos were very responsive and helpful with all of our questions and needs. The house itself is clean and lovely and the beds were very comfortable! All of the outside space was really nice for enjoying the views w/a glass of Santorini wine!

Santorini with a view!
My family and I went to Villa Dali and it was wonderful! The view was from the rooftop was amazing, you can see everything. and the sunrise in the morning is stunning. The house was well furnish and our pick and drop off were well coordinated. Maria and Stamos gave us great recommendations for places to eat and the place we so close to town! Easy access to Santorini nightlife. The house doesn't have AC, but it doesn't seem like many places in Santorini do. Once you open the windows the breeze is perfect!

Great Property, Great location and a memorable experience
Vila DALI is an excellent place to stay! The property has almost everything you will need to have a memorable vacation. It is also extremely clean and well maintained. The daily housekeeping service provided by Nikoleta was very much appreciated - tip her well as she is a real delight to get to know! The 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are very well-sized and were perfect for our family of 5. There is also a sofa bed so that our 3 boys did not have to share a room. The location and views provide an unforgettable backdrop to this gem of a property - it is higher above Fira so you can look over the town and also the Caldera. At night, you will really appreciate the rooftop as a place to sit and watch the sunset and activities going on below you. Some positive things to note: (1) The location is somewhat removed from the touristic bustle of Fira meaning you can easily walk into town and in 10 mins be back in your villa enjoying some respite from the crowds when a cruise ship is in town. Fira is central to everything and where you can take buses to anywhere on the island. You can also walk in the opposite direction and be in Firostefani in 10 mins; (2) There is a road quite close to the villa so you will not have to drag your luggage up and down steep paths and stairways; and, (3) Maria and her business partner Stamos are extremely responsive, helpful and knowledgeable. They will patiently answer questions and provided us with very useful information on the property and the island. We took them up on several restaurant suggestions and were not disappointed. There was a heatwave while we were there and Stamos and Maria made arrangements to help us get some laundry done. Stamos also came by frequently to check that we needed anything but was not intrusive. Stamos also helped us rent a boat for a very private and memorable sunset sail around the caldera.
Finally, please be aware that there is no conditioning in the villa. It can get very hot inside even with the windows open (or shuttered to block out the sun). We slept up on the roof one night to cool down. We also got into the habit of setting off early in the morning, coming back for an afternoon nap and then heading out again once it cooled down.
In summary, you will not be disappointed with Villa DALI - it may look expensive when compared to other properties but you are getting an excellent location, great property and many personal features that you will not experience elsewhere.

Beautiful sunset views and close to town!
The Villa is exactly as advertised. It was clean and comfortable. The service from Maria and Stamos was excellent! The Villa is a close walk to town for delicious fresh food, drink and nightlife. The sunset from the roof is stunning. I would recommend staying here, we all loved it.

Amazing views, clean and updated villa, close to town
This villa was the perfect place to stay with my family of 7 people. The view could not have been better from the two sides of the villa. So many great places to sit outside and take in the spectacular views of the caldera and the volcanic island.
The architecture is beautiful and the place was recently updated. Its quiet and secluded but it's also just a short walk to the main part of Thira with great shopping and fun restaurants. Thira is the best place to stay because it's easy to get everywhere by bus from there. Just note that it's not a place for someone with any difficulty in mobility - lots of steps and uneven walkways.
There is no air conditioning which worried us at first but Santorini has nice breezes and with all the great Windows and fans, it was not a problem at all.
Having the cleaning service was nice every day (especially having someone empty the bathroom garbage cans because you can't flush toilet paper down in Santorini).

Excellent experience
We had an excellent experience during our stay in Villa Dali. The position is extremely nice (a medium size terrace on the front side of the house, facing the caldera, a very large one on the back, more reserved, perfect for dining).
The house is very close to the center of Fira (literally walking distance), still in a silent area on the upper side of the village.
The house has been completely renovated, in the structure (bathrooms, windows, kitchen) and in the furniture (most of the kitchen tools still had the plastic around). Kitchen is fully equipped (including a small dishwasher)
The house includes 3 large bedroom, plus a couch that can accommodate two extra people (recommended only for children, since it is located in a living room in front of the kitchen).
Yannis is a professional host, and provides whatever is needed for a pleasant stay, the housekeeping is accurate, fast and efficient

Great location! Beautiful views!
Enjoyed our stay! All 8 of us slept comfortably, some even slept outside because it was so nice out! Short walk to everything! The rooms had fans to help with some of the warmer nights. The house itself is beautiful and very clean. Would stay again!
