For architecture lovers and people who would like to live a bit away from the hustle and bustle

In general, we were very satisfied with the location. It is architecturally unique. However, modern architecture also has its price. This in the sense that the two rooms are very nice, but rather small and spartan. The bed takes up the most space in the room, shower, toilet and a shelf have a little more than a meter of space (everything super clean and well arranged). But: all in all it's pretty cramped (it has a fridge and a coffee machine with 2 capsules per day). A grill is declared but it has no kitchen and crockery and cutlery in the room. There are no sun blinds outside and it can therefore get pretty hot in the room - pull the curtains. A nice gardener comes by daily to keep the pool and garden clean. Warning: the title picture is misleading and shows the house opposite the two guest rooms (super nicely designed!) and not the guest rooms. It takes some getting used to living directly visavis the owner's apartment - with full mutual insight... Conclusion: For visitors who do not value a lot of space and a kitchen, this is an absolute dream accommodation. Notable is the beautiful seclusion and private access to both beaches. We would go again, but just wanted to point out the special situation.

Beautiful, modern room with wonderful beach access.

The location was nice and it had private access to two beaches, which was amazing. The room was modern, clean, and had great air conditioning. I loved that I was able to relax in the pool each night. The host was very nice when I did see him.

The directions to the location were unclear from the guard and the host. The guard kept telling me directions which didn't lead me to the location. Only after the host told me the name of the house that was across from it, did I find it. If the location had a visible number or a name, I would have found it even with the guard's directions. (Note to host, the guard is telling people to turn left, right, right, which is correct, but it's not the first right, it's the second.)

Location was great. Very peaceful. Close walk to the beach. The beach is not crowded ten mins away from the busy beaches so you can walk to that if you want. Burt is lovely so helpful with suggestions and his cleaning lady washed our clothes 🤗

The place is smaller than it looks om the lmages. Was not really a problem for us, we were just a bit surprised.

Exceptional

Bert is the most amazing host. Accommodated everything for us, from last minute covid tests, to dinner bookings at sold out restaurants. It was a really amazing experience, so peaceful. The rooms were really clean and well maintained and the community is extremely safe, and just seconds from Tamarindo beach and playa Langosta. We really enjoyed our stay here and are super grateful for Bert and his hospitality. We will be back, but next time for a much longer stay.

very esthetic and modern, nice pool and great location.

horrible smell in the room ruined our stay and we left earlier then planned… Bed extremely noisy and squeaky made it hard to fall asleep

The perfect place to stay!

Beautiful and super clean Studio with private parking and pool in very short walking distance to playa tamarindo and playa langosta. Joah is a great host making sure you feel welcomed and enjoy your stay in Tamarindo to the fullest. Thanks for the great time!

Nice pool and beach access, not worth the price.

The pool was lovely. The beach access was nice. Bert was kind and very helpful starting out the stay. The place does have privacy from the outside but slightly weird facing the villa. Nice wood work in the room and good AC. Wifi worked well.

The place is a 3 room house sort of, with two "studios" on one side facing the villa, it is strange that they totally face each other and it feels a lot less private. The room is very basic with no real amenities, not a hotel style. The bed was very loud and the sheets kept falling off. The pillows were lumpy and the quality just didn't fit the price. The towels and sheets weren't changed, which was fine just would've liked the option for fresh towels in 3 days. There was a party at the villa one night which was loud. The parking was tricky with multiple guests. It has nice beach access but the beach you access is not a good surfing beach the beach breaks are in town so we had to drive a lot more than expected.

Great host, great spot between the two beaches and a nice room - what more can you wish for!!! And the pool is perfect for an alternative to the beach :-) Definitely a great place to stay!!!

Amazing villa

Beautiful villa! Kind and helpful host. Very good location (between two beaches).

Rooms are quite small and taps in the bathroom area are really unfriendly. Regular pool cleaning (leaves) would be nice.
