Home away from home, but with a much better view.

The cottage had everything we needed. It felt like home. Friendly and well trained staff. Delicious food in the restaurant.

Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder

Der Empfang von der Gastgeberin Pia war sehr charmant und professionell. Sie hat uns sofort die Wohnung persönlich gezeigt und eingewiesen. Die Ausstattung und Einrichtung waren sehr gut. Es fehlte an nichts. Das direkt an die Unterkunft angrenzende Restaurant konnte mit einer sehr guten Speisekarte aufwarten. Alle von uns verzehrten Speisen hatten eine ausgezeichnete Zubereitungsqualität gepaart mit hoher Kreativität - ein echter Hingucker. Die dazu servierten Weine waren ausnahmslos von hoher Qualität. Besonders zu erwähnen ist das Restaurant- und Küchenteam, die freundlich, aufmerksam und prompt alle unsere Wünsche erfüllten. Das gesamte Team einschl. Pia stellen eine harmonische Einheit dar. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohl gefüllt und bereits die nächste Urlaubsplanung hier in Angriff genommen. Diese Unterkunft und das Restaurant einschließlich Personal können wir uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

The layout of the “stolen chicken” was nice. The restaurant on the premise as well. The view is spectacular.

Highly recommend - beautiful location, great staff, very comfortable room

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kunjani. We stayed in the Cabernet villa. The room was very well appointed, clean and comfortable. The view is absolutely gorgeous. We felt safe and well looked after by the staff, who were wonderful. The owner was able to put us in touch with a great guide who ended up taking us on wine tours over two days. All of the staff in the restaurant on site were also so great. The restaurant was fantastic - excellent food and wine and vibe. I would recommend coming here even just for a meal if you were not planning to stay. Would not hesitate to stay here again for a relaxing, romantic, peaceful stay. We only stayed for two nights, but found we were not impacted by the load shedding.

Lovely respite from the hurried pace of life, and close to many other wineries and gardens.

Grace and the rest of the staff were so inviting, helpful and kind. We felt at home among friends. The food was wonderful as well as plated beautifully, and the view from both the restaurant and our villa was restful and expansive. We were grateful for the quiet and calm area in such a lovely setting. Each villa is set up to provide ample privacy for each group of guests. The villa is set up with every thing we needed, and much thought has been given to anticipate needs of those staying. a full kitchen was wonderful to have for our weeklong stay. There was even an extra adaptor for the outlets.(outlets are UK and Europe style)

The restaurant closes at 5pm....which is very normal for wineries, but we would have enjoyed a later dinner there. hard to find things we didn't like...really fabulous stay and we would happily return.

Idyllic view to the vineyards with magic sunset!

Beautiful and well equipped apartment. Ideal for 2 couples or family. At the beginning we were a bit disappointed since we counted with the villa that you see in the pictures. Our accommodation (The stolen chicken Villa )was direct under the main building and somehow we liked it even more. Beautiful view to the vineyards, sunny terrace and very bright apartment. We were very received by Pia and her staff. We arrived at the Valentine's day and we had an incredible dinner that night. Compliments again to the chef (unfortunately we forgot his name, but we know he comes from Zimbabwe). The surroundings is beautiful and also very safe.

Lovely comfortable accommodation with far reaching views.

The quiet location overlooking the vines was superb. On arrival we enjoyed an excellent lunch in the restaurant which also had fantastic views.

Nice location, great stay!

Nice location. Friendly and helpful staf. Self catering rooms well equity, comfortable and clean. Fabulous shared swimming pool. On site restaurant was great and a good alternative.

we will be back, a hidden gem.

The best location to stay when visiting Stellenbosch, a short drive to town. The Shiraz cottage was a gem, in the middle of the wine fields. Owners are great and helpful people. Thank you for making this a special weekend.

Pleasant

The view was stunning. The villa was beautiful. The location was easy to find and very central to Cape Town and Stellenbosch. The staff was very friendly. The wine is good and the cheese and meat platter we ordered was good. The villa is spacious enough for two people and the pool was a bonus.

Did not like the fact that we could not have breakfast before 7:30 and did not like the fact that the restaurant on the premises is not open for dinner.

Wonderful place in the winelands

Wonderful place to stay. We had 2 great days at Kunjani and we enjoyed the time, especially with Pia, Carmen and Paul. Great location, very nice staff and of course great wines. A place to come back again. Thank you for the 2 days.

Exceptional

Absolutely 10/10. Stay there for the 5th time. Pia, the Owner always met us personally. You can order very generous meat/cheese/bread board to your room, and it is very nice when you arrive in the evening. The cottages are absolutely clean, packed with all nesessary indoor and outdoor furniture. Fully equipped kitchen with everything you may need. All plates, bowls, cups etc are in the same design. Great view to the wineyards and surroundings brings peace to your mind and soul.

Still regret that we occasionally broke one small plate from Poetry))). Pia, once again - our apologies...

A hidden gem in the winelands

The accommodation was spacious and the self catering kitchen was stocked with all the basics you will need. The on site restaurant offers a fabulous range of dishes, including breakfast. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the setting so peaceful that you can't help to have a brilliant night's rest.
