Secluded relaxation in the mountains
We enjoyed our stay here! Yes the driveway is steep at times. The view was gorgeous and the stars at night can't be beat. The trails were great for us to explore with the kids. The biggest thing that needs updating is the linens! I couldn't even wrap a towel around me after a shower because they were small. Kitchen well stocked with small appliances and tableware. Would have liked a little more cleaning supply - no degreaser for the stove top or Lysol/general cleaners. Read more

Looking for a place for family
This was a beautiful cabin that definitely checked the boxes for management communication and location. With these reasons alone I would recommend this place to bring family. Just a couple of key insights to think about; 1) the heating is not consistent in this cabin. This presents a problem if your looking to utilize all three rooms. 2) Bugs are expected in cabins that are in the woods, but it got to be a little to much with the Stink bugs in this place- in fact one made it home with us. 3) I would highly recommend 4WD when renting this place- especially if going during the snowy months. It is a very difficult driveway with 3 sharp turns and a 14 degree slope on last leg to the house. 4) Make sure to bring with you things like dish soap/laundry detergent/paper towels- especially if you are staying for a long weekend. There was only one of everything provided in the rental which doesn't last long with 5 people- with 2 very young kids one use is not possible. Please take these insights as "things to know" in preparation for going... not as a deterrent for booking this airbnb. It truly was a great place with hiking trails, fire pit, and it is 20-30 minute drive to all the attractions and Asheville. Ingles was only 4.4 miles away and easy to get to. My family had a phenomenal vacation. Thanks again turn key for making our time there enjoyable.  Read more

Social Distance Beauty
Beautiful views and hiking trails on property. We loved the hot tub and the space in the cabin for our family of five. A tree fell on the property on our first night, blocking the driveway and the property management was very responsive and it was removed the next morning. We did rafting, tubing, and mountain biking in the area. You can get to the river from the house, but you do need to cross a road. The view from the porch alone is worth the money. Driveway steep but fine for our minivan in nice weather. Great place for social distancing! Read more
