This review is of my honest experience from renting this private home for a week. From the day that I checked in and to the last day I checked out, it seems like there was always something going wrong or off. The place looks luxurious but my family and I definitely didn't experience a luxurious stay. First and foremost this company should let people know up front the long list of things you must agree to into order to stay in the home. This contract is presented to you AFTER YOU PAY. This home has alot of contingency, mess up a towel = FEE, to use the bbq grill = FEE, touch the heating system on the jacuzzi = FEE, they don't provide wash clothes, etc.. During the pandemic, it was crucial for us to get a home that we could enjoy certain amenities within the comforts of the home. Unfortunately you can't do alot of things without paying MORE MONEY.
Summary of things that went wrong:
The company got my check in date wrong, the air conditioner stopped working and slept uncomfortable in this home for 2 nights (1 too many), the jazcuzzi was filthy found the cover off of it, they kept saying someone was going to come clean it, however in their contract it states they're not obligate and cant guarantee certain amenities with every stay.. While it was nice to have a a 24hr customer service number to call if/when anything goes wrong, the company exhibited poor communication skills. It seems like everyday I was making a call out to them and eventually grew tired of it. (I have phone logs and messages to further support this)
My family and I comes to Florida almost every year and have booked private homes through Booking.com many times before. We have never encounter something like this before. I believe the home is truly beautiful and nice however If im paying for a luxurious stay I expect to receive my money's worth. Their contract is written solely within their own interests Incase anything goes wrong.Read more
