Great house near the beach!
We really enjoyed our stay. This house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We easily walked to the beach, though later we rented a golf cart for fun. We were 2 adults and 2 teenagers and the space was perfect. We'll definitely stay here again! Read more

Really nice, just needs cleaning
We LOVED having this beach home to ourselves for a week in September. It's only about a 5-minute walk to the beach, which is just enough time to dry off a little before coming in to clean up. I even found that I could make the walk barefoot and thus needed to bring nothing with me to the beach. Our family loved the lifestyle--even our 3-year-old was able to walk that distance, which meant we avoided the cost of renting a beach buggy. The big fence and gate were kind of a pain to have to open and shut in the wind whenever we came and left, but we enjoyed the extra feeling of security, particularly when the kids wanted to play outside. Beneath the house were several games to play, like corn hole (but I never found the bean bags) and Aggie golf as well as some useful beach equipment (boogie board, bucket, big floatie thing) and a grill. There were some rusted items under there that need to be thrown away. But the best thing about that space is easy access to the garden hose, which we used liberally to wash the sand away every time we returned from the beach. Leave your shoes below and just pad up the stairs back to your comfortable beach house, or relax in the big chair on the porch until you dry off. Inside, the living area is as cute as the picture, but it needs a little help. We found the furniture to be covered in white dog hair that was unable to be removed with the vacuum. The recliner in the photo is broken; we found the handle in the side table next to it. This was our first time to stay in a place like this, more like a home than a hotel, and we were pleased to find things like ziplock bags, extra grocery sacks, coffee and coffee filters, tea bags, dish soap, laundry detergent, etc. The fridge and pantry of course were empty so we bought our own food as well as household essentials like garbage bags and dishwasher pods. Some of the grocery items we found were majorly expired (tea, seasonings). We found board games and cards, as well as plenty of Read more
