Great for Winter Family Vacation
Spacious property, very well located in Fairview at only 2 hours of Sugar Mountain and Gatlinburg, 45 minutes to Wolf Ridge Resort and 15 minutes to Asheville. GPS is a must until getting used to how to get to the property, specially at night. It is stocked with towels, dishes, silverware and pots. We found just these issues: 1) Brown couch and rug at living room need a deep clean up. 2) Ice maker is not working (fridge) 3) blind in the kitchen's window goes up on one side only. 4) Pictures shows foosball, tennis and air hockey tables in the garage and only the air hockey table was there. 5) ceiling light bulb in one of the bedrooms is burnt out. 6) small fridge in the attic room is unplugged so we don't know if it was working or not. 7) There was a plastic table cloth (not folded) at the top of the refrigerator in Kitchen 8) fire pit area and the fire pit itself needs maintenance ASAP. Read more

Nice Place
We really enjoyed our vacation at the house with friends and family! The place was very spacious and has excellent views. The gym is no longer functional as shown in the virtual is a storage area. Maybe cleaning up around the house and in the garage would be great!! Read more

Beautiful views and pretty convenient location
We had two families with teenagers and this house gave us just the space we needed for both togetherness and solitude. The kitchen was well-equipped, but oddly missing any dishtowels. We brought our own spices, which was good because there weren't really any in the house (not a complaint, just be aware). The house was missing 6-7 lightbulbs in the kitchen and master BR and it took a day to get replaced, but that was OK. They serviced the hot tub while we were there so it was nice and clean. Kids loved i. We loved sitting outside on the rock patio in the morning. Be aware it's a pretty steep drive up, but we didn't have any issues. We were close to a grocery store and a 10-minute drive to downtown Asheville. This was a good jumping off place for us, even it we wished it was a *little* closer at the end of a long day. Read more

Very Nice, but ....
The house was very nice, clean and plenty of room. The The Property Manager group was very helpful, as the hot tub never got warm enough to use. I called The Property Manager 5 times during our stay to see if we could get this resolved, as one reason we picked this home was use of the hot tub. 2 different people were sent to check on the hot tub and Saturday night(we left Monday morning) a technician said that the hot tub needed a new heater, which we knew wouldn't happen while we were there. Disappointing, but we did have a good time. In previous reviews, a renter said they had trouble with the hot tub heating, but apparently it wasn't fixed before we came. FYI- my daughter noticed the shower floor on upstairs bath was mushy around the drain, which may mean there is water under drain--may need to address. The kitchen was very well equipped with lots of pots and pans. Could use kitchen towels? This is a very nice house and was very clean. Couple of things that need to be addressed, but we were pleased with the rental and the help from the The Property Manager representatives. Read more
