My son and I in Mammoth
Such a perfect place! Check-in was super easy and friendly. Also very convenient as you come into Mammoth. Easy directions and was at the building in a few minutes. Straight into the secure garage and parked right next to the elevator. Grabbed a bell cart which was only feet away and rolled up to the unit.
We walked in and everything was clean and smelled nice! The unit came with everything we needed in the kitchen and baths. The beds were super big and super comfortable. Lots of extra pillows, blankets, towels. We brought toiletries but they supplied nice hotel-style items! Was able to cook little meals for my little man and everything was well organized and easy to find. The fireplace was perfect to keep the temp regulated and the tv was easy to use.
The location was way better than I imagined. We walked out the door at the other end of the building and it was like 100 yds to the Eagle lift. I checked my son into his lesson and walked back to get my stuff. I love the Eagle lift/lodge! We were sledding and playing in the snow right out the back door. We used the pool and jacuzzi at night and it great as well. Lockers were convenient near the pool and the owners left a padlock in the drawer.
We went into the village everyday or evening. Never got lost and the roads were well maintained. I recommend renting equipment in the village instead of the lodge for adult boards. A better selection and a little less expensive. I really enjoyed this trip and my 5 year old is now hooked. We’ll be back next year and I’ll stay there again for sure!
P.S. Nice touches by the owners to have both types of coffee makers and had individual bags as well as a selection of K-cups. Cream and sugars too! Read more
