We’ve surveyed users on the type of trip planner they are, are they spontaneous or do they like to have strict, well-structured itineraries? With 57% of the trips booked, spontaneous travelers are making last-minute itineraries and finding plenty of inventory to do so. Whereas 18% of the trips booked, planners are getting their ideal destination organized and finding the perfect rental for them without needing to stress about accommodations later.

Small group sizes for vacations were most common with 47% booking trips for themselves, a nuclear family, or a duo of couples.
