ROBINSON Cabo Verde - Adults only

Amazing beachfront location with beautiful, pristine stretch of sand and clear sea water. Excellent food quality in the buffet. Quite a bit of activities (either included, such as gym, etc.) and as a bonus (kitesurf, diving, etc.). Very clean facilities. Super helpful staff. Adults-only so not much noise (including around the pool) compared to other family spots where it's difficult to relax due to kids playing. Great vibe.

The beach, due to Atlantic winds, can be a bit rough sometimes (especially the first few meters after the sand where waves break). Adding more natural shade in the relaxing areas of the resort would be nice. Some minor maintenance/improvements are needed in the pool and garden (for example, some missed shingles have not been replaced, some green grass areas in the garden are dying, etc.). The all-inclusive price includes alcohol (beer and wine) which makes it a bit less of a value proposition if you don't drink (much) which is not the case for much of the guest I saw. Finally, I felt the pillows were too fluffy and reception didn't have any firmer ones to provide.

Although weather remains a big factor of the whole experience, it's important to state that the resort offers every condition for a great experience. The variety on the meals is a huge plus, especially their vegetarian options. The Cape Verdian staff is tremendous. Both the swimming pool area as well as the beach area are excellently kept.

There's not much to point out. Some of the fittings in the bathroom were showing a bit of wear (which is to be expected, and we've noted that there is regular maintenance). We would have appreciated a bit more 'locally oriented' entretainment, but undertand that the majority of visitors being German the entertainment is directed at that demographic.
