Canvas Atelier Hostel

Friendly staff and clean place

—-

Very good staff and room.

Staff was super nice and friendly

I was there during the heatwave, so no Aircon in the rooms, it was so hot at night that I couldn't sleep well and the bathroom window in the womens dorm doesn't open to create a draft to cool down the room at night. And the street is super loud despite earplugs. So didn't sleep very well. Night temperature was 26°C

Good location, close to the city centre and a quiet place. Good kitchen facilities and social area.

Few bathrooms. There was also a mess in the reservation system. We did not receive the rooms, which we booked. Our group of 15 people booked two 8-bed dorms to stay together, but received 13 beds in two dorms and one 2-person bedroom (+). However, the consequence of receiving this extra 2-person bedroom (for free) was the accommodation of people from outside our group in these two dorms, including a hostel staff member. During our two-night stay, some members of our group were relocated by the hostel staff from one bed to another, without prior notice.
