The location, the staff, the amenities,the cleanliness, even the on-property restaurant was 5 out of 5 stars. I'd like to give a special shout out to the hotel security guards. There was always a guard on duty, alert and attentive to the hotel guest. They'd go as far as to walk you to your Uber driver awaiting out front, or food delivery person, reassuring your safety.
I'd like for the suite to have a drying machine, and working icemaker.

Nixe appartment, a short taxi ride from El Poblado. The bar across the street is very nice for some drinks and snacks in the evening. (I wouldn't call it dinner, but it is a pretty popular place). Rooftop pool, sauna and gym are very nice as well.
The cleaning fee that Booking only adds and communicates after the booking has been made. This is a frustration that the hotel has apparently shared with them numerous times, but is still annoying as a customer. For the percentage of commission Booking.com charges they should do a better job at serving their customers (both the end consumer and the property)

I have traveled full time for the last 6 months and have never stayed in one place more than 7 days. Needless to say, I am an experienced traveler and these are my observations. Nice decor, the apartment was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had almost everything we needed (I cook a lot and we don't eat out much). Bed was king size and extremely comfortable, as were the bed linens. The cleaning staff was wonderful with great attention to detail. The front desk is always manned and they were friendly and always willing to help.
Next door is a location that hosts parties, such as kids' birthday parties during the day and adult parties at night with EXTREMELY LOUD MUSIC. No matter what day it is, there's something going on there. On the weekends it was much worse. They played excessively loud music from noon until 2:40am in the morning!!!! I complained to the front desk twice and they did all they could, but had no control. If you stay at this property, be aware the noise level can be off the charts.
