Fantastic location with wonderful panoramic views from restaurant. Whisky bar is a must. Room was very clean with good facilities. On the whole helpful staff and very good wine list.
It needs better signage if you are walking up from the train station. Not great for first view is staff entrance with staff smoking. Food was rather underwhelming for the price and slow and not very attentive service from waiters. They were friendly and helpful but slow and smelled badly of cigarettes.

Spectacular view over the lake from my fourth floor room. Some road noise on this side, but an acceptable trade-off for the view. The breakfast buffet offerings and half board evening dinner were excellent

Position and views from the room….the Whiskey Bar is exceptional.
A general tiredness about the whole property, the walk from the carpark to reception passes by unkept garden areas overgrown with weeds…woke up to an horrendous smell in our room and out on the corridor….reported it to the reception staff and they mentioned that they were aware of it happening previously and they had used a contractor to clean the drains….without success 🤮
