It was quite long winded to get around, different lifts to reach different places which could be a little confusing

Rooftop pools are fab. Staff friendly. Happy with stay, didn’t use spa, brekkie was nice didn’t eat lunch & dinner, had other foods options nearby

Getting lost when trying to find yur way around, it’s very big & hard to find the right lift to access certain floors/areas

This is my second time staying here and I was not disappointed. Great staff, great breakfast, good restaurant options, close proximity to town centre and good comfort.

The rooftop pool and sunbathing area was a very nice place to spend time. It was peaceful even though music played throughout the day. The main restaurant was also very nice, the decor was good, and it was a nice temperature meaning a good escape from the summer heat. Finally, the choice of food was plentiful and tasty - not so much for breakfast, but lunch and dinner always had plenty of choice and different meal options every day.

There were not enough sun beds around the downstairs or rooftop pools - if we went to either pool any later than 10am, it was impossible to find anywhere to lay, and we were not alone in sitting and waiting for something to become available. The room was pretty dated, the bathroom was small and it was not set up for us to store anything other than a toothbrush. The hotel confirmed a double bed would be available prior to our stay but upon arrival, we were put into a room with two single beds and were told by the front desk duty manager that the hotel doesn’t have any double beds - in fairness they did convert our two singles into a double using a double sheet, but sleeping with a canyon in the middle of the bed is uncomfortable and is not what was promised before we arrived, which was disappointing. Then the beds themselves - hard and not breathable, and one single uncomfortable pillow meant that sleep was not so enjoyable. The pool bars were severely understaffed, meaning often standing in queues of 15-20 people for a while waiting to get a drink. And the drinks themselves, when we were able to get them, were poor quality and tasted extremely watered down. All in all, for me, the 4* hotel rating is generous, and i think given the service and product, it is overpriced.
