The Inn of Cape May

This is a unique property, being g a historic hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the lobby very attractive and the bar and restaurant very good. But be prepared for some quirky things. There are no phones in the rooms, nor common amenities like coffee machine, mini fridge or microwaves. The elevator is amazing, the oldest in the eastern U.S. and one of only 2 like it, the other is in Paris. It will only fit about 4 people, 3 if you have luggage, as there has to be an employee operating the elevator. So if you're claustrophobic, request a room on a low floor. Not sure what other bathrooms are like, but ours was super small. Obviously once a closet, and the shower stall could really use an update. We also had to put a heater in our room because it was so cold and you can't adjust temperature. The staff, however, was stellar

The hotel looks amazing from the outside while inside looks cozy and amazing. It's vintage and beautiful. There space to sit inside and enjoy a fireplace or outside and enjoy the view. Close to the shore and the surrounding area is BEAUTIFUL! Room was clean and comfortable. We had the omelet with goat cheese and it was delicious. Definitely 100% coming back!!!

Very nice

Our stay was excellent due to staff's customer service, from our first step into the inn, we were greeted with a welcoming feeling. Luka helped us unpack the car and delivered our bags to our room. The staff at check in was very friendly and professional. The servers on the porch and in the restaurant were great, especially Anna, who always had a smile. Definitely check out the happy hour, the food choice was great! The location was perfect, we walked to most places and didn't need to move our car from the convenient parking lot. Our room was cleaned every day with fresh luxurious towels. The inn is cozy and could use a little maintenance TLC, but I'm sure it comes in the off season. We will definitely go back!
