Hotel MR Costa Blanca

Very comfortable rooms and dog friendly. Helpful, polite and friendly staff in a great location. All felt very clean.

A little more than we would usually spend.

The best feature of this hotel is its location, just two minute's walk from Calle Marques de Campo with its restaurants and cafes, and easy walks to the old castle, the marina, or the beach. On a hot summer day, it's nice to come back to an air conditioned room! We enjoyed a very nice breakfast in the downstairs breakfast room every morning.

The hotel has a good location only few hundred meters from the city center and the marina and very close to the train station. The young lady at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful. The hotel communicated well prior to our arrival. The room was of a good size, comfortable and clean. Good buffet breakfast at a reasonable price. Good private parking with easy access and large spaces. (Cost Euro 17 per day)

My only issue is not being able to book the parking in advance and having to hope that a space is available on arrival.

The room itself was clean, well-maintained, and aesthetically pleasing. However, the quality of sleep was severely compromised due to an extreme lack of sound insulation between units. The walls are exceptionally thin, resulting in full transmission of noise, rendering earplugs ineffective. Specific noise disturbances included a family arrival with a crying baby at 1:00 AM, loud conversation from an adjacent unit at 2:00 AM, and non-stop infant crying beginning at 7:00 AM. While the noise originates from other guests, the fundamental issue lies in the complete absence of room insulation. Guests seeking a restful night's sleep should be aware of this critical structural deficiency.
