Hotel Cap Diamant

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was a very nice touch as well.

The property was a little confusing to enter since you need a code to enter, which was difficult when we first arrived to not have someone greet us at the entrance.

Our luggage didn't arrive, and my wallet was stolen that 1st evening, but the staff at Cap Damiant were very accommodating and resourceful and made me feel at home and well taken care of in the midst of my rough situation. I really appreciate each one of them!

The steep stairs, if you're on the 3rd floor, were a bit challenging but not too terrible. However, something to consider if you have bad knees, ask for bottom floor 😉

Location very close to all attractions. Breakfast was delicious and thoughtful. Bed very comfortable and linens good quality. Wonderful bath products. Patio area and common areas lovely for relaxing.

Not enough space to put our toiletries in the bathroom. Configuration of sink and shelving made it difficult to navigate. Bathroom not big enough for tall people. Not enough hangers in closet and no dresser to put clothing in. Lack of control of A/C, was very chilly inside.

This was a lovely hotel with some nice touches such as the self-serve wine and the morning breakfast. It has a nice contrast of an old property with modern touches and finishes, which gives it a lot of character. It was really quiet and a great location. It was also really helpful to have parking close to the hotel.

We were due to check-in later than reception was open, but arrived before it “closed”. However, no one was at the property when we arrived so it took some time to find out what we needed to do to find our room. We were also placed at the top of the hotel and had to carry our (heavy) luggage up 3 flights of stairs - though I was told by another guest there was a luggage lift. As there was no staff, we of course didn’t have this option so this wasn’t a great experience. Breakfast wasn’t clear on the process as there were no staff about when we arrived downstairs. Again, a guest explained that a member of staff would be around soon to provide breakfast. Overall, it didn’t ruin the stay but, we only saw staff when we were checking out so, it was sometimes quite difficult to navigate our stay. I would also warn guests about how steep the front steps are, should they have heavy luggage and/or accessibility challenges. They’re quite steep and there’s an immediate step up from the street which was difficult to navigate.
