Best Western of Lake George

On going improvemental to property

Rooms were clean and quiet. Nice breakfast selection with many options. Great location.

Looked like some updates were being done so the the alternate entrances were unlocked and anyone could access the building without a room key.

It is in a beautiful area, the grounds are well kept, the room was clean and the breakfast buffet had a decent selection. The outdoor pool was very nice.

There was only one person working the desk to check in. He was extremely slow. I got in line behind two other groups, it took 45 minutes in line before I got checked in. The outdoor pool area definitely could have used more than 2 umbrellas in the 95 degree heat. The indoor pool area was dingy and unkempt. There were no towels at either pool despite there being towel shelves in both. They opened the pool an hour later than stated. When I asked if it was opening the woman said “ my maintenance man will get to it when he feels like it”

The breakfast was good. Though options were less and not refilled quickly when finished.

The size of room was small compared to what we experienced with other hotels. The bed size of queen bed was not matching with any of the queen bed. I believe it was full of twin size. It was not comfortable in cushioning as well. Could not sleep better.
