The Guest House at Graceland

When we first arrived, the valet and the front desk staff were awesome!! The girls at Deltas kitchen were also awesome!! We loved the fact that the swimming pool was always clean, had clean towels every time we went to the pool... housekeeping made sure our room was clean every day, which is something you don't see often in hotels... the peanut butter and jelly sandwich older gal was so pleasant and friendly towards everyone, and hopefully I didn't forget to mention any staff but EVERYONE of them deserves a round of applause for everything they provide... this is our third time there and I can assure you it won't be the last... to everyone at the guesthouse.... Great Theme, But Overpriced for the Amenities Provided Pros, Excellent location for Graceland, comfortable rooms. Cons, Lacks premium amenities, expensive breakfast, isolated from downtown, average service. Room & Facilities Our room and the general hotel facilities were undeniably comfortable, offering the perfect base for anyone looking for the full Elvis experience. However, given the hotel's high price point and its standing as a premium property featuring a fitness center and a swimming pool, the in-room amenities fell short. For what we paid, we expected modern touches like smart connected TVs, complimentary bathrobes, and a much wider selection of tea and coffee options in the room. Dining & Value The value for money simply wasn't there when it came to dining. At this price tier, breakfast really should be included in the room rate. Instead, it was treated as an additional, highly-priced expense, which felt like unnecessary nickel-and-diming. Location & Transport While the proximity to Graceland is fantastic, the hotel is quite a far drive from downtown Memphis. Because of this distance, the hotel really should offer a shuttle service into the city center to assist guests. If you plan to spend a lot of time downtown, keep the commute and ride-share costs in mind. Service & Final Verdict The reception and hospitality team were perfectly pleasant, but the service was merely "good" rather than the exceptional, memorable hospitality you would expect at a themed resort of this caliber. Ultimately, we had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay, but the property feels significantly overpriced. You are paying a steep premium purely for the Elvis and Graceland branding, rather than a truly luxury hotel experience.
