Great communication from Luis, with quick response times.Great sized pool with plenty of sunbeds, with shaded eating area and grassed areas if preferred.Main lounge and dining area, with three other seating areas, convenient for quiet time away from main areas.

We were a group of 8 family and friends visiting Portugal for the 1st time. The villa was top notch, very spacious with flexible bed configurations which suited everyone in our party. The villa was very clean and the grounds are well manicured. The renovated dinning area was a focal point of our evening card games. The decor, new table with seating for 8 and lighting were great. Our host, Luis, was very responsive both before our arrival and during our stay. He answered all of our questions and provided suggestions. The location is ideal as it is out of the city, close to beaches, and easy to go into Lisbon and South Portugal. The ferry from Barreiro to Lisbon was a stress free way to spend a day in the old city.

The property was perfect for our family of 9 which included 3 generations. Having a ground floor bedroom was a big help. We were concerned about there being no aircon, but even though there were temperatures of 35 degrees, it really wasn't needed. The house has adequate shade where needed and thick curtains to keep out the heat in the day. The pool is a great size and very clean. Kitchen is very well equipped and everything was found to be in working order. Luis was very good at communicating and very responsive. We had no issues when staying a the property. had hired cars, but rarely used them as the UBER services are so good in Portugal. The main use for them was going to one of the 3 local supermarkets ( Aldi, Lidl or Pingo). There is a little deli on the site but it only has essentials and luxuries / gifts. The Lagoon pool that belongs to the golf resort looked like it was no longer in use, but we were happy with the pool and the beach. We took the car to the beach, parking spaces are limited so UBER can be useful for this too. The beach is great with lots of little cafes all the way along. It's a very clean sandy beach. Our children did a surf lesson there. Day trips to Lisbon are so easy and were great fun. We took UBER rather than trying to navigate the traffic and parking. My husband loved the golf course and putting range. The hotel restaurant is also very nice quality food.
