Bonus: there is a ski storage locker on the ground floor, so you can just walk out of the condo in your ski boots to the locker via the elevator. Very convenient!

Slopeside accommodation that is close to several restaurants.

The location of this property is great. However, the parking is terrible (SUPER tight spots that are always full), the elevator was out of order for half our stay, our unit wouldn’t get any warmer than 62 degrees, and the kitchen cabinet drawers are lethal!! So parking is terrible, we drive a large SUV and couldn’t even fit into the tight spots! There is no luggage cart to haul up all your ski gear. The apartment was super COLD. When I called at 6:30 am I was told they’d have someone there within 30 minutes…. 7 hours later someone came to fix it. My husband had to eat breakfast in a hat and ski coat! It was ridiculous! The stairs were super fun to navigate in ski boots when the elevator was out of commission! Finally the kitchen cabinets do not have anything to prevent them from being pulled out completely! It’s very easy to pull the drawer completely out tumbling all the silverware and knifes onto your feet! Super fun, if you find that your toes are nearly for show!! This building needs some serious upgrades and the unit itself needs improvement!

We had plenty of space and all amenities needed. Nice king bed; great location - fun to watch the groomers drive by outside our balcony in the evenings. The carpet could use deep cleaning or replacing. Garage parking is convenient but spaces are VERY small. The heat never seemed to get above 65 even though we kept turning up the thermostat. There is a space heater (I think) in the closet, but didn't use it. Enjoyed our stay.

Great little cozy place and convenient to center village. Older building and very tight parking but other than that great spot.

This was a perfect location for our long weekend music festival getaway. Although a little dated, the property was very clean. Our only issue was that water started leaking into the bathroom from an above unit on our last night. The response from management was fairly quick, even if there wasn’t much they could do about it at the time.

It was clean and spacious, and the location was so convenient for our bicycle tour, right in the center of the village. It's proximity to the slopes would make it an even better location during ski season! Even though we had a parking permit for the underground parking area, at first all of the spaces were taken. Fortunately a space was vacated once we had unloaded and were preparing to head for the overflow lot, which was a mile away. As we had our bicycles with us, that parking garage was important to a satisfying stay.

We loved the amenities of Iron Horse, especially the pool, and the location, but the condo was very much lacking. Master bedroom bed was so uncomfortable that after 2 nights we started sleeping on the Murphy bed in the living room. It was much better but we made it work but sleeping the opposite direction as how the bed had been made. The couch we even more uncomfortable!!! It definitely needs to find a new home at the dump. The longer we were there the more broken things we found. Doesn’t seem to have had any TLC in years. We knew the bathrooms were dated from the pictures but sure hadn’t counted on the broken down furniture, top dishwasher rack, dining table chair, tile in the kitchen and bathroom, closet doors, trim work falling off, and so much more. Unfortunately, we would not recommend this condo unless repairs and upgrades are made. It holds so much potential, hopefully the owners will fix it up soon.

My husband and I love to ski at Copper Mountain and look forward to vacationing there every year. We really enjoyed our VRBO condo where we stayed in late February/early March 2022. The condo was comfortable, clean, and functional. The location was ideal: close to the Center Village ski lifts and restaurants. The parking is free although the lot and parking spaces are small. Therefore, we were glad we could park our car in the underground lot and walk to everywhere we wanted to go. Communication with Copper Vacations and the VRBO owner couldn't have been better. I called Copper Vacations before and during our stay to clarify check in, checkout procedures and parking. They were very friendly and helpful, We texted the VRBO owner on the first morning because the cord had been shoved inside the coffee maker. He texted us right back saying that he would get a new coffee pot to us and we received it that morning. Overall, we were very happy with the condo and hope to stay there again.

I was dropped off by the shuddle and picked up the key in the "no-touch" outside box at the office. Then I had absolutely no idea where the condo was. A map would have been nice of where the different buildings are.

We got to the room and the temperature was on 68 degrees and the HVAC didn't come on when the thermostat was raised. But there were two heaters in the closet which heated the room. Then toward the end of the week stay the HVAC started working.

The coffee pot only had a 4 inch cord and had to be balanced on a pot to make coffee.

So close to everything! Rentals, locker, restaurants, lift tickets, lifts within 100 yards. Truly ski in, ski out. 3 of us comfortably fit (teenager on the couch, which was plenty comfortable). This room is close to the elevator which is nice. Parking garage is tight but better than nothing.

It wouldn’t take much to buy a set of pans, knives, utensils and dinnerware from an online retailer. The parking was right underneath the lodge. Elevator access is across the hall so unpacking and loading were a breeze. Also Great for not walking down stairs in ski boots. Restaurants are all within 200 feet. Starbucks is just outside the door. You can rent at Copper rentals within 50 feet and the ski locker is located on the patio by the circle. We enjoyed the stay and will look forward to a return trip.

Very easy access to the lifts

Presuming you’re staying here for the location, it’s fantastic. The unit itself is “efficiency.” We had trouble with the heating system the entire stay and despite maintenance coming to try to fix it, the unit remained quite cold throughout the stay. The kitchen is minimal and the oven needed cleaning so using it made a lot of smoke (and there is no range vent). But, and most importantly, the bed was extremely comfortable.

Very convenient and so close to everything and easy to go back to condo to take breaks in between ski runs
