It was a picturesque perfect state. The property was beautiful and accurate with description. We were slightly bummed out that the fireplace was not working, the part to fix it had not arrived for us to use the fireplace. Other than that it was cozy. It was quaint. It was close to everything we wanted to see. We enjoyed all the information provided with places to eat and places to visit. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will be back again soon.

Very cute, comfortable and welcoming with all the modern conveniences for our needs. A very nice man was working on the fireplace upon my arrival and volunteered to show me how to work the heat and the way to the pond. If you are looking for a peaceful and pretty setting, this is the place. We enjoyed our morning coffee and afternoon glass of wine brookside.

My husband and I stayed at Andrews cabin for our anniversary. We stayed for the week to take advantage of all the cabin and area had to offer. The rustic cabin was very inviting and set on a picturesque location. The days were warm so we left the windows along the creek side open. The sounds from the creek were so calming going throughout the cabin. We often had our morning coffee on the bridge. We did have a few questions that Andrew quickly responded to. He is very attentive and wants his guests to have a great experience. There is a lot of hiking nearby at parks but we found a nice little moss covered path on the property. If you cross the bridge and follow the sign to the left there is a nice path to a large pond with a pier/dock. Along the way we found what appeared to be an old grave stone with writing on it. Make sure you plug in the rope lights in the evening. They light up the bridge and creek nicely. We did see a raccoon washing something in the water after dark. We had a great time and will return again. Thanks again Andrew for being a great host!!

This was our first fall trip to the creekhouse. The leaves were changing and the weather was cool but comfortable. We had some very nice interactions with the caretakers; it was a pleasure to meet them. We came for the cozy comfort, with the creek to sing us to sleep. It never disappoints. Thanks Andrew.

So perfect. Listing is understating how nice this cabin/location is. Abundant birds. Kingfishers, hummingbirds, blue jays, Great blues and many songbirds. The creek is active and right outside the door. Full wall of windows for in-door viewing of the creek and woodlands. A lush, beautiful, private stroll to a pond full of life. Fishing and rods on sight. Hot tub and water toys. All electronics worked just fine. Easy access and parking. As perfect as perfect can be. Winery.restaurant a mile away sup good. Fine dining and a local diner down the road a few miles. All Pocono attractions with in 30 miles.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights. It was a cute small cabin right by the creek. The front room was the best part of the house right beside the creek. The hot tub was amazing. Unfortunately because of the rain we could only have one fire but was very relaxing.

The cabin and surrounding property were a little slice of heaven. Due to the extreme heat we didn't use the hot tub. Brought fishing tackle but didn't even bother to rig up. Enjoyed soaking in the peaceful atmosphere, flora and fauna and tranquil setting. Thank you Andrew!

Couldn’t have been happier with our stay! So relaxing kids loved playing in the creek, and kayaking the pond. Everything you need is available, hot tub, creek n pond fishing were great, we caught brown trout and small mouth bass.

Exactly as described. Check in was so easy. Could not have asked for a more lovely and relaxing cabin to stay in. Morning coffee by the creek was so marvelous. Walks with our dog to the pond and around the woods were great! We did no sightseeing, but just enjoyed the Creek House to it’s fullest. We met Georgia the house keeper and Ron the hot tub keeper. What lovely people. The hot tub was just an added benefit, which we loved. God willing and the creek don’t rise, we would love to return again to our new “Happy Place”. This place is such a great find. The location is secluded and spacious; stream, moss walking path, pond, fire pit, footbridge, hot tub and of course the cabin. Comes with everything you would need to get through your stay including cookware, soaps, linens. Plenty of room for the 4 of us. Kids enjoyed endless hours floating tubes down the creek and fishing in the pond. We would definitely book this place again if we come back to the same area.

My husband and I had a wonderful time. The cabin was very quaint and clean. The property was beautiful. We enjoyed the hot tub and sitting on the bridge in the morning to have our morning coffee, such relaxation just what the doctor ordered. Georgia and Keith were very hospitable. They are beautiful people. We also had the opportunity to meet Barry and Ron such great people we loved it.

A magical location with plenty of time spent relaxing by the creek, fishing and walking through the woods. Yet close enough to Camelback Mountain and other fun things to do in the area. The cabin was the perfect size (2 adults/1 dog) and had all of the necessary amenities. The hot tub was a real treat! We just got back yesterday and I already booked for next year! Can’t wait to go back!

We just love this place! It’s exactly how we remembered it. We tried to get back last year, but it was booked solid, so I made sure to reserve it much sooner this time, and still there was only a four day slot. It’s in high demand because it is even better in person, and the pictures look pretty spectacular.

Everything during our stay was perfect! Super easy check in, all necessary amenities, and just outstanding scenery and awesome experience. Weather didn’t cooperate, so didn’t get to use the firepit, but had no problems keeping the kids entertained with the creek, pond and canoe, walking trails and nearby attractions. Would definetly stay at Big Al’s again!

My wife and I were looking for a place that was private, cozy, and peaceful for our 51st anniversary. We also golf and fish. Big Al’s had it all. Having coffee each morning on the deck was just great. The cabin is very clean, very cozy …. The hot tub was fantastic— we plan on returning. We use VRBO often and this property is one of the top places we have stayed in.

Quiet cozy older cabin with all the conveniences of home. Beautiful area with a babbling brook right outside your door. We saw wildlife out our windows and caught bass in a nearby pond. The outside hot tub was welcome and relaxing! Many things to do and see in the area including some great restaurants! Some bear cubs got into our garbage and we called the property manager who took care of the problem promptly. We enjoyed our stay with our dog and hope to return again.

This Creekside Cabin was everything we expected and so much more! First of all the pictures just don’t do it justice. Sitting by the creek, watching the ducks fly in from the pond every day and land right in front us, was something we never got bored of. Plenty of firewood to keep the campfire going all weekend. The hot tub was amazing! The mossy trail up to the pond where we spent our days fishing, almost felt like a magical forest…and then there’s the cabin itself! The bed is amazingly comfy, the retro feel of the cabin made you feel like a kid again on a camping trip with your family. It has everything you need. We had the most relaxing weekend ever! Thank you for sharing your hidden gem. We will definitely be back.

The cabin is set on a beautiful spot right next to a beautiful creek. With the windows open you can here the creek flowing buy. Cedar Barrel hot tub was amazing. When you walk in the cabin you feel like you are stepping back in time. Curated carefully to give a rustic cozy feeling with modern conveniences. We enjoyed our time at the cabin immensely! We had a lovely time. The cabin is as it appears on the website. Just wonderful! And a seamless check in process!

As advertised. Great place to unwind. Lots to do not far away If you want to venture out. We stayed at the property most of the time since it was so much to explore and the fishing was awesome. Will definitely be back.

Property was lovely, unfortunately, we had to cut our stay short due to my husbands health. The setting was picturesque, and as advertised. Cabin was clean, neat and decorated adorable. Very charming. We wish we could have stayed for the duration. Always next time :)

This is a truly special property! My husband and I had the luxury of staying for 4 days from the end of April to the beginning of May. Although it rained everyday we feel that only added to our experiences hiking on the bright green moss enveloped by the deep colors of the woods, canoeing on Cades Pond, watching the water rise under our own bridge and thoroughly relaxing in the cedar hot tub while the cool rain fell around us! The interior of the cabin is one of a kind! It was difficult to pull ourselves out of the dreamy, cloud like bed but the views of the creek welcomed us from nearly every window each day. The roaring fire that we built each night in the fireplace, using the generously stocked wood, was the perfect way to end our evenings. The kitchen had everything that we could need and more with the coolest retro appliances. However, the heart of the cabin is truly the creekroom. It lulls you in and keeps you there as you watch the creek flow by with the occasional duck, listening to its babble or rushing roar, depending on the rain, and feeling the breeze blow through the endless windows. It really was heavenly and did wonders for our souls! We can't wait to go back!

We loved the place and will definitely be coming back. The best part was, you felt like you were in the middle of nowhere, but everything you need or want is close by. The kids had a blast fishing and caught a lot of fish. There were not much fish in the creek, but they still loved playing it just as well! Thank you for letting us enjoy your property.

I went to Big Al’s with my husband and pup and we had an amazing time! Everything you need is in the cabin. Comfortable bed, great shower, hot tub, amazing couch and with the sound from the creek and the fireplace, it was perfect and Alexa….. My husband caught about 15 fish at the pond. Was looking forward to the dock and canoe, but the dock is waiting for repairs and the canoe is at the cabin (pond is a 5-10 minute walk) and we didn’t think we could handle carrying the canoe, chairs, fishing gear and the dog, so we did not get to experience that, but still had a great time. I really loved that there are three doors. The front when sitting at picnic table, packing car or taking the dog out, two in the creek room (one that leads to the hot tub, grill and bridge and one that leads to the little covered porch. The firewood was already stacked in the cabin with more outside, if needed (along with a starter log). No need for paper towels, toilet paper or trash bags. Only thing I would bring, next time would be paper plates and cups. The ShopRite is very close and was huge! Liquor store and pizza place is in the shopping center, as well, I really enjoyed looking through some of the old books and games…. Blender was great for frozen drinks!! We cannot wait to come back, I wish it was a little bigger to show off to extended family, but it is also nice to have some alone time. I had a few questions for Andrew the day before we left and he called me from Spain very quickly! Thanks!

This cabin is so adorable. Perfect for my spouse and I to get away for a few days. Even with some rainy days, the cozy cabin, fireplace and cedar hot tub the mood didn't dampen. Bed was very comfy! The property is beautiful. The creek, the lake and being able to just sit and listen to the water or in you want take a little hike, can't beat it. You're secluded but not far from necessities or activities. We will 100% stay here again!

Cannot say enough about my stay at Big Al's. The place is exactly as pictured. The setting is so beautiful and the cottage so comfy and quaint, but with all the conveniences you will need. I will be going back during the summer months to enjoy the creek and hot tub. You won't go wrong vacationing at Big Al's
