Llanwrtyd Wells is an amazing place! Home of the World Bog Snorkelling Championship among many other wacky sports! We knew nothing of this so were delighted to meet the Irish Bog Snorkelling Champion in the bar and learn more! The staff were incredibly friendly. The hotel is, shall we say, characterful. Our room for the first night wasn't great but it was the last one available on a busy Saturday night and on Sunday night we were moved to a superior room. The food was also excellent. I must also give mention to Llanwrtyd Wheels. They are a separate business from the hotel but the bikes are stored there. We hired e-bikes for the day. The bikes were top quality models and the guy who came to set us up could not have been more helpful. We had a fabulous time and will be talking about it for years to come!

The friendly staff. I enjoyed lunch with you a year ago and so wanted to stay a night sometime, which this year I did. Thank you.

The building interiør needs a facelift. We had a room on the top floor. Older buildings often have a problem with animals getting into the interiør walls, banging on the walls a few times scares them away, for a while. I am a spoilt brat who likes a soft bed, I found the bed here was hard and the pillows were flat and hard.
