there was cockroaches and this is the 2nd time i’ve stayed there both times there was roaches . this time there was one on the bed

There was coffee but only biscuits for breakfast. A/C OK. City centre location

Both rooms were shabby, one front door didn't lock so a chair had to be wedged. Drug users shambling round the car park made us nervous all night.

It was a good location.

There was not enough parking. They combined a travelodge and a Howard Johnson in one building by changing some of the rooms to meet the Howard Johnson standard. Which meant cramming two queen sized beds into a tiny room. You could hardly get into the beds and the one by the window almost stopped the door from shutting.

Stayed many years ago and the room have been upgraded a lot looks nice

do NOT stay here. it is disgusting that booking.com even have this up still. they stole money off my card, none of the locks on the doors worked, there is illegal activity through the entire hotel. the staff do not help, they give the same story to everyone about the deposit only being $100, and say it will be refunded after a few days. firstly, it was over $200 and secondly I never got it back. after multiple calls, no one will do anything to fix this as they simply do not care.

Breakfast is a scam.They do not provide breakfast.The most important thing thing I didn t like was the triple transactions on my card.For a 86 dollars reservation they blocked the amount ( 86 USD) just hours priors to our arrival.At check in they blocked once again 186 USD ( 86 reservation and 100 deposit) saying that the first transaction is pending so they won't charge and ,the third time,before check out they blocked another 100 USD .I asked why ,they only recognised that they charged 86 and released the deposit..So for a 86 USD accomodation they blocked 372 dollars.The deposit was released after few days but the rest of 186 USD was released automatically by the bank after 10 days.So if you want money blocked,go there. I need to say that I stayed in other Howard Johnson locations and it never happened.Even after this experience.
